“The Dark” is an Akatsuki-like criminal organization based out of Makkuragakure, in The land of Shadows. It is made up mostly of Missing-Nin and several individuals not from this world, currently the site villains. They are not part of the site's canon plot, and their story has been carried out totally through Role Play.

Joining The Dark

No one is just going to start as a Dark member. There are 2 ways a player can join up.

1.) Start in a village, do several jobs, then find a legitimate reason to desert the village to become missing. The player would have to find out in character about the organization somehow, (Wanted Posters of various members, village gossip, various pained walls inviting criminals to Makkura) travel to Makkura, and gain the audience of one of the high ranking members.

2.) Start in Makkura and catch the attention of a high ranking member to inquire about joining.

The player will likely have to endure several tests that could result in the severe injury or even the death of their character, so the player should make sure that they are prepared beforehand.
