Clan History: Well known for generations as a clan with superior Genjutsu and borderline psychic skills, the Yamanaka have fallen from grace to some degree in recent years. Their mental abilities have waned over the last few generations; causing many to discount the legends of the clan as fake, or overblown hype. However, a new ability of the clan is starting to bring them back into the spotlight; the clan's long association with flowers via their flower shops and a bit of Senju blood mixing into the clan have given rise to the ability to control and influence plants with the chakra that used to allow them to control the minds of humans.

While the clan once used this new power to battle against the Plague; the scattered family has returned to their favored role of pure botanists; running shops all over the world and working to create new and more beautiful flowers for the enjoyment of the people.

Kekkei Genkai Description: Flower Release: Simply put, the Yamanaka are now able to influence the growth of flowering plants and trees; while also using the various parts of the flowers as components of various jutsu. Many carry the seeds of specific flowers and plants so that they are able to vary the jutsu they have available at any time. All seeds carried by the user must be bought; and the effects of the plant and the plant's individual pollen must be stated at time of creation/purchase.
Enhanced Genjutsu: The user has inherited the Genjutsu skills the clan was once famous for; and as such receives a +2 rank and power to all Genjutsu they use.
Drawbacks: Flower Release: The control extends only to existing plants; the Yamanaka cannot force new plants to appear. Unless the plant exists already, or they carry  viable seeds on their person, their Flower control is useless. The flowering plants are weak to Katon, taking +1 damage from all fire attacks; unless in a swamp, marsh, or other extremely wet area where the plants are too full of water to burn.
Enhanced Genjutsu: The user is physically frail from focusing heavily on Genjutsu and mental conditioning. Because of this, the user is unable to use Taijutsu, Kenjutsu, or Kyujutsu at all; as well as taking an additional +1 rank of damage from all physical based attacks.

Description: The user releases a special chakra that causes any viable seeds within a 5 meter radius to grow and bloom. The user must state how the seeds came to be in the area; usually via the user throwing or spreading seeds carried by them.

Description: Using the pollen of the blooming flowers, the user is able to create different effects via different plants. The user must state what the pollen of the individual plant does upon trigger of the jutsu. All seeds carried by the user must have it's pollen effects stated in it's item listing.
