Name: Lockdown (2/3 Vials)Type: OffensiveRank: BDescription: The point of this poison is simple: it completely paralyzes from the eyes down your opponent; while allowing your opponent to be entirely aware of the world around them and everything that is going on. It also allows them to continue to feel pain: increasing this ability so that something like a pinch or sharp stick with a needle feels like the equivalent of a knife. Even the simplest of movements will cause an aching pain.Due to the potency of this poison it can be applied topically, while also being placed in weapons. This poison works within 2 posts of it touching or being injected into an opponent: starting with the inability to properly use one's body (first post) to complete paralysis (second post). This poison lasts for 5 posts after paralysis sets in unless an antidote is administered." /> Name: The Crazies x1Canon/Custom: CustomRank: SType: PoisonElement: /Duration: 5 postsCooldown: Range: Close, Mid, LongDescription: The Crazies is a fatal, slow acting toxin. This poison can either be absorbed through the skin via direct contact, injected into the victim, or coated on a weapon and entered into the victims's body that way. Signs and symptoms are as followed: Nicotine poisoning tends to produce symptoms that follow a biphasic pattern. The initial symptoms are mainly due to stimulatory effects and include nausea and vomiting, excessive salivation, abdominal pain, pallor, sweating, hypertension, tachycardia, ataxia, tremor, headache, dizziness, muscle fasciculations, and seizures (Post 1). After the initial stimulatory phase, a later period of depressor effects can occur and may include symptoms of hypotension and bradycardia, central nervous system depression, coma, muscular weakness and/or paralysis, with difficulty breathing or respiratory failure (Post 2). Death occurs following this (Post 3). Price: 1,500 Ryo Per Vial (1 Vial = 4 Doses of Poison)Name: RicinType: OffensiveRank: ADescription: Ricin /ˈraɪsɪn/ is a highly toxic, naturally occurring lectin (a carbohydrate-binding protein) produced in the seeds of the castor oil plant Ricinus communis. Followed by hypotension and seizures (Post 2), followed by death (Post 3).Price: 1,500 Ryo Per vial (1 Vial - 4 Doses of Poison)Name: CyanideType: OffensiveRank: ADescription: Cyanides are produced by certain bacteria, fungi, and algae and are found in a number of plants. Cyanides are found, although in small amounts, in certain seeds and fruit stones, e.g., those of apple, mango, peach, and bitter almonds.[7] In plants, cyanides are usually bound to sugar molecules in the form of cyanogenic glycosides and defend the plant against herbivores. Cassava roots (also called manioc), an important potato-like food grown in tropical countries (and the base from which tapioca is made), also contain cyanogenic glycosides. This form of cyanide can be ingested, injected, or coated on a weapon for use against someone.Symptoms of poisoning include: general weakness, giddiness, headaches, vertigo, confusion, and perceived difficulty in breathing (Post 1). Coma with seizures, apnea, and cardiac arrest (Post 2), with death following in a matter of minutes (Post 3).Price: 1,500 Ryo per Vial (1 Vial = 4 Doses of Poison)Name: Pufferfish TextrodotoxinType: OffensiveRank: ADescription: Poison extracted from Pufferfish.Poisoning symptoms include: deadening of the tongue and lips, dizziness, and vomiting (Post 1). Name: Subject Z Type: Supplementary, Offensive, Defensive Rank: SS Element: Raiton, Suiton, Doton Species: Human (Reanimated Corpse) Description: Subject Z is the result of a failed temporary Resurrection jutsu. While attempting to bring Subject Z back temporarily she accidentally used too much chakra, resulting in a very permanent Subject Z. However, due to the state that Subject Z was in when Dez acquired him he has only enough brain function to follow basic commands, and do basic tasks: things such as reading, writing, math, are no longer capable of being completed. Subject Z is now used as a bodyguard of sorts for Dez, especially after it was revealed - upon him biting another lab experiment of hers - that he has some sort of venom or virus that he can transmit through biting or scratching his victim. This has resulted in the zombie having to wear a specially designed mouth guard and hand guards that can be removed when needed. The zombie is normally led around on a thick steel chain to keep it from wandering off, and is fed a basic diet of meat - though Dez has shown her willingness to feed people to Subject Z when she deems it necessary. The zombie cannot be killed through loss of limb, even the head being cut off will result in nothing more than a headless zombie running about. The only way to kill Subject Z would be to destroy it's brain: and knowing this Dez has designed a specially made helmet for the Subject to wear which protects it against attacks. - Subject Z's Picture:
Special Characteristics: Name: Virus Type: Supplementary, Offensive Requirements: / Ability Tier: 4 Minimum Rank: SS - Description:
The Virus is built like many viruses, as the virus makes contact with a cell's membrane, it inserts its genetic coding into the cell. The cell absorbs the viral genome into its own genetic make-up, which takes over the cell's functions. The cell begins to produce offspring of the original virus. The new viruses are then released from the host cell and infect the neighbouring cells, which starts the process all over again.
The Virus kills and replaces mitochondrial organelles with a replica of itself. The virus then combines with other cells to produce energy. The energy produced is just enough to power the motor neurons and the basic lower brain functions. The reanimated host body is then left with the intense need to feed in order to replenish energy supplies without having to sacrifice its own tissue. Actions taken by the host in this time period greatly resemble that of "zombies" depicted in horror movies, and are thus dubbed by that name.
However, the Virus can only properly function by consuming the cell in order to produce its energy. This slow breakdown of cells leads to the gradual breakdown of the host, causing necrosis. The virus incorporates itself into the host's DNA, which substantially alters it. This is why creatures, such as bees and spiders, only have very minor mutation, such as increased size, when compared to the human mutation caused by the virus.
Should the human host be alive at the time of Virus infection, all higher brain functions are destroyed. This leaves only the cerebellum to govern behavior. This leaves the infected host with a very animalistic behaviour. As the virus spreads, it damages the hypothalamus. This produces a massive flood of neurotransmitters, enzymes, and hormones such as norepinephrine and dopamine. These effects, combined with the painful symptoms of the infection, induce a psychotic rage, persistent hunger, and increased aggressiveness in those infected.
Should the human host be dead at the time of infection, only enough energy is produced to power the lower brain functions. These functions are responsible for the most primal instincts, such as walking and eating.
In either case, their late-stage appearance and behaviour are characteristics of their name-sake, a zombie.
Post one: The post in which the host is bitten or scratched. This can either be a bite in a fatal area such as the juggular, or other main artery, or otherwise a bite anywhere on the body. The Virus is unleashed into the body and begins its rampage.
Post two: The Virus has now made a significant dent in the cells of the host, and is beginning to take over and cause harm: fever, sweats, chills, and a full body ache announce the growing issue. As does the mental changes such as an increased rage, and general agitation.
Post three: The virus has now entered into the major organs, and the body begins to shut down and die. This is the last post in which medical attention can be applied to save the infected before it's too late. If the victim was already dead upon being bitten than this would be the post in which they'd rise.
Post four: The host for the Virus is now dead, consumed by the Virus.
Post five: Reanimation time is upon us, and the brain has been reawakened by the Virus. The body is no longer capable of higher functions, and is consumed by a persistent hunger and need to feed on living flesh, be they animal or human. They're incapable of rational thought by this point, or otherwise of being cured. Jutsu: / Items/Gear:Name: Helmet Rank: SS - Description:
A helmet specially designed to protect Subject Z's skull against attack due to the creature being capable of death via brain injury: lined with rubber on the inside to keep his skull from experiencing trauma via vibrational forces, and reinforced with metal done in a 'dragon skin' like design which makes penetration nearly impossible (until SS rank). The helmet covers Subject Z's forehead to his eyeline, covers from his ears and back, and covers every inch of the back of his head down to his hairline; offering full and complete coverage over the skull cap. The helmet comes with a visor that can withstand up and including A rank physical attacks. The helmet itself is resistant to physical attacks up to and including S rank (Taijutsu, Kenjutsu, Kyujutsu, WT). The helmet, due to being metal, takes a +2 damage to Katon and Raiton based attacks. But, will protect against Doton, Fuuton, and Suiton based attacks up to and including S rank. - Not Exactly How it Looks, but an Idea:
Name: Mouthguard Rank: SS - Description:
A special mouthguard much like what (American) football players wear on their helmets. The mouthguard sticks out from around the Helmet's mouth area, but, can be quickly released by a burst of Dez's chakra (specially designed to only respond to her own chakra and no one elses). The mouthguard is simply to keep the zombie from gnawing on the wrong person or at the wrong time. Name: Gloves Rank: SS - Description:
Gloves specially designed to keep the zombie from being able to scratch those not intended to be scratched. They're made of a thin mesh like material with enough strength to keep the zombie from scratching through it due to its strength, but thin enough to allow for the zombie to move its hands.
The gloves can be quickly released from the buttons along the side that respond to Dez's chakra and hers only.
