General Description: Casper and Cairo are both slight of build and both really pale. They don't look very strong, but they are quite agile and light on their feet. Casper's hair is longer then Cairo's and usually tied back, and this is the only physical feature that can be defined between the two. In all other aspects the twins are exactly alike, even down to their height and weight.

Personality: Casper: Casper is a really kindhearted and gentle, he really does seem feminin when compared to most other boys but he isn't as feminin as everyone seems to think he is. In truth he is an introvert along with his brother,  but once you get to know him he's like a little brother. Innocent, naive, and just clumsy enough to be called cute. He can though, be quite defensive, and so he will protect his brother and his close friends no matter what, even if they don't want his protection. His adorableness stops when he is scared, or defensive, at which point he becomes just as silent and pale as his brother.
Cairo: Cairo, unlike his brother, isn't shy but simply a very quiet person, he is often disregarded to points of origin - no one ever stops to wonder what he is, where he came from, or what he's doing, despite obviously being there and not quite fitting in. He doesn't say much, even to his brother, and he dislikes touching people because of his being dead and is often considered anti-social because of it. In truth he is just as kind as his brother but he doesn't show it when he isn't treating someone or mixing medicines. Cairo is more mature then Casper, and often finds himself defending his brother rather then his brother defending him.
Likes:  Casper and Cairo have really similar personalities, and so they also have the same likes and dislikes. They are both extremly fond of the forest and it's inhabitants, as they were taught by their mentor. They look up to and respect their mentor, Grandmother, a herbalist or 'witch' who created healing elixers and medicines for the local village. The twins loved her like a mother, and after she died they continued on in her trade, Casper gathering herbs and other plants for healing, and Cairo mixing and combining the herbs into elixers and medicines. The two are also extremely fond of spiritual places.
Dislikes:  Casper and Cairo absolutely hate violence, and will not tolerate it. They won't even consider healing a person if they are overly violent.  The two boys also hate meat. They are vegetarian, and have never once eaten meat or purposely killed an animal in their lives. Their mentor bred these hatreds into them ever since they were young, however they both have normal hatreds like other people. Casper hates the cold and frost that comes with winter because it kills many of his medicinal herbs. Cairo hates the heat of summer because it makes his lack of heat even more obvious then in the winter.
Motivations:   Cairo, being a ghost, has no individual motivations. He wants his brother to keep living, however that is more of a survival instinct then a motivation as if Casper dies, the Cairo will also cease to exist. Casper on the other hand, wants to find a way to revive his brother. The twins have made it their ultimate goal to help people in the one way they can - through herbology and alchemy. They decided to start traveling across the countries, gathering herbs and learning new medicinal strategies and creating polutuces and elixers for all types of illnesses and injuries.
Fears: Casper and Cairo are deathly afraid of being separated from one another. This is because they have been side by side for their entire lives, they don't know what will happen if they are split apart so they stay together constantly. They will never even be so far apart as to be in different rooms. The two share that one fear, however they also have their own individual fears. Casper is afraid of, ironically, girls and females of any species larger then a dog. Cairo, the ghost twin, is afraid of killing an innocent person inadvertently through mixing up ingredients in a polutuce or elixer and turning something intended to heal into something that kills.


History:  Casper and Cairo don't know anything about their past before they were five, they don't know who their parents are or where they lived. The twins lived on their own wandering around the forest for two weeks before they were found by a medicine maker who lived secluded in the forests. When the two boys were found,  Casper was in horrible condition and had a fever, Cairo on the other hand was in perfect condition albeit freezing cold, pale, and had a tendency to vanish into thin air when Casper's fever became worse. The medicine maker, nicknamed Grandmother by the residents of the closest village even though she was only in her mid-forties, healed Casper and as the fever dissapeared, Cairo stopped dissapearing.

Grandmother took the twins under her care and sheilded them from the harsh eye of the villagers, although it wasn't until they were seven when she actually told them why - Cairo was a ghost. He had been a ghost for the entire time the boys had stayed with Grandmother, although she wasn't sure when exactly he had died or why he was a ghost. Despite Cairo's condition, Grandmother taught the twins her trade, Casper grew a talent for finding and gathering herbs and other vegetation that had any use known to medicine and even some that weren't. Cairo had a talent for putting a use to all the herbs his brother had gathered and creating elixers and medicines for every illness that struck in the cottage they lived in and the village, where the boys rarely went and even when they did go they never went without Grandmother. Because the two had minimum human contact with anyone other then eachother and Grandmother they became reserved and spoke little in front of anyone else.

When the twins were thirteen, Grandmother died, and the two boys were orphaned once agian. The village didn't mind their presence while they stayed with Grandmother, but no one wanted to take in the mysterious little boys with no past that had come out of no where after she died, so the boys started travelling and made a living by selling medicines in the villages they passed. The twins' were greatly appreciated for their skills, although they never stayed in one village for much more then three days for fear that the villagers might discover Cairo's secret, although Casper's fear of girls had a part in it too.

RP Sample:  Cairo watched his brother tie the last small bundle of herbs together with gentle hands. It seemed so easy the way Casper manipulated the herbs with his careful fingers, but he knew that he himself made combining the herbs together into medicine look just as easy. "It's getting dark.." Cairo started.
"We should start looking for the road." Casper finished. He stood up and gathered up the bundles of herbs. He tucked them into a side bag that hung at his waist. He started walking in the general direction of the road, Cairo following behind with a slight flicker as he crossed a stream.
