Clan History: Long ago, the Sekiyu lived in the plains of old Iwagakure; working the mines and farms that kept the ancient village alive. While rarely did the clan take up the mantle of the ninja arts, they did have a natural affinity for both water and earth, and for generations unknown would use their basic chakra skills to enhance their lives; both via their farms and their mining operations. Centuries ago, the discovery of unrefined petroleum on lands owned by the clan marked a turning point for them; while the oil itself was crude and dirty; it still burned well, and was useful for torches and as a crude fuel for the civilians that didn't use chakra. Through the years, the clan gave up on farming and mining, focusing entirely on the drilling and refining of the oil they pumped from the ground. Using what they knew of water and earth chakra; they began to work with the oil itself; first to purify and refine, and eventually finding that they had gained control of the oil itself, and could create a form of it within their own bodies. It was at about this time that a new militaristic branch of the clan appeared, sending their children with the ability to create and control oil to as ninja or as civilian military; looking to gain a foothold on both ends of the supply chain.

When Iwagakure fell during the last great war; the clan was scattered in many ways; branches of their people where cut off entirely from the others, causing their bloodline and the kekkei genkai they had developed to scatter to the winds. In modern times only a small number of the bloodline survives; living in various villages and normally fairly ignorant of their past. They are mostly a peaceful people once more; using their oil abilities for the good of their families and villages.

Kekkei Genkai: Aburaton (Oil Release, 油遁)
Kekkei Genkai Description: Formed using water mixed with minerals and particulate matter leeched from the earth or created using Doton chakra; oil is a constantly liquid substance that can be used to create various field-wide or targeted effects and attacks, depending on how it's used. When combined with Katon chakra or another source of flame, Oil Release techniques can take on an extremely explosive nature.
Drawbacks: Because of it's very nature; Aburaton is highly weak to fire; no matter what rank the Oil jutsu is, fire will cause it to light on fire and burn away. While comprised of Doton chakra/materials, adding a large volume of foreign doton chakra/created materials will render the oil inert and unable to be manipulated or exploded.

Description: Oil Clone Jutsu is not a normal elemental clone jutsu in that it creates a large number, 10-12 clones, at one time. Each clone is incapable of using chakra, and is only able to muster D-rank physical power; however the point of these clones is not offensive, it is diversionary. While the target is busy attempting to destroy the clones, the user is able to set up for another attack, or escape. Each clone instantly breaks when struck by any sort of physical or chakra based attack; exploding with only the force of a normal water balloon, however they release gallons of highly flammable oil in all directions. If hit with Katon based attacks, they will instantly explode, releasing flaming globs of oil in all directions and causing a domino effect with any clone close enough to be hit by the explosion.

Description: The user focuses chakra in their throat to produce a large volume of oil which is then vomited into a trail behind or circle around the user; which is then used as a source for other Oil Release jutsu, or lit on fire for various usages. The user is able to create up to 10 gallons of oil via this method.
