| Name: Blade of the Ruined King Type: Long Sword Rank: SS Upgrade Slots: 3 Affinities: Raiton Description: The Blade of the Ruined King is an ancient, heirloom weapon of the Tsukino clan. Centuries ago, a monk appeared within the clan with extraordinary power and skill; one who would go on to become a legend. Born during a time of war, the male carved a bloody path through the enemies of the village; eventually rising so high within the ranks of the military that he was considered the most powerful General of the time. Near the end of the war, the man forged a single blade; one that sealed the fate of the enemy. The power of the blade was overwhelming; allowing the Tsukino to decimate entire legions of ninja alone. However, the power of the blade would be the man's downfall; his pride grew out of control, and it began to poison his mind. The man turned on his comrades and people, naming himself the 'King' of the lands he had once worked to free. Building a throne of dragon bones and crystal within the clan temple; the man ruled the lands for nearly a decade before his clansmen rose up and defeated him. hundreds of Tsukino died to defeat the rouge 'King'; sealing the man within his throne room and sealing the entire area from the rest of the temple, and the world above. Time passed; and the 'King' was forgotten by the outside world; fairy tales told to the children of the clan telling of the 'Ruined King' that had once darkened the world. The blade itself is nothing special, visually. A fair basic straight blade roughly 6 feet long from the base of the tang to the tip of the blade; of which 2 feet makes up the guard and handle. The guard splits near the edges, flaring into distinct 'V' shapes. Centered at the base of the blade just above the guard is a single jewel which flares with light when the blade is unsealed; growing a brilliant green so long as the blade is being used. The grip is wrapped in simple wire, covered in leather, for optimum grip. Enhancements: - Life-Force Absorption:
Name: Life-Force Absorption
Type: Passive || Weapon Enhancement
Description: Blade of the Ruined King is able to drain the life force of anything it cuts; absorbing it into itself to repair damage and channeling any extra energy into it's wielder. The absorption is moderate at best; each cut of any size drains 20 chakra from the target. The stolen energy allow the blade to regenerate minor to moderate damage; such as cracks in the blade or chips in the cutting edges. Any energy not used by the blade itself is sent to the user, which acts as a minor healing effect. Small cuts (up to 1/4th inches deep) are repaired instantly, and over time larger injuries are slowly repaired. Injuries such as broken bones and the like can be repaired after 6 posts of continuous cutting and draining. The healing cannot replace lost limbs, nor stave off death. Mortal injuries are still mortal, unless proper medical attention is received.
- Thunderstorm Generation:
Name: Thunderstorm Generation
Type: Passive || Weapon Enhancement
Description: Upon drawing Blade of the Ruined King from it's sealed state, a massive thunderstorm begin to build above the wielder. Within 2 posts it begins to rain heavily, and after 3 posts a massive amount of lightning fills the sky. Dozens of lightning strikes occur a minute, with at least 30 strikes per post striking the area around the wielder.
- Partial Sentience:
Name: Partial Sentience
Type: Weapon Enhancement
Description: The Blade of the Ruined King is so powerful as to be self-aware to a degree. While not truely 'alive', it carries an innate intelligence on the same level of most of the higher mammals and reptiles. It is able to recognize the chakra signature of it's wielder and allies, and will violently reject anyone that it does not feel falls within that group. Anyone without S-rank Raiton that attempts to take the Blade of the Ruined King and is rejected by the blade will suffer electrocution so severe that without S-rank medical attention they will die within 5 posts
