Appearance!
Height: 5'3” – 160cm
Weight: 110lb – 50kg
Hair Color: Cascading just below the waist, Shishiza's dark roasted chestnut brown hair has a healthy sheen to it – making it oblivious that she takes good care of it. A single long and wide ribbon is securing wrapped around her head, a fashion statement, along with a way to keep her bangs from obscuring her vision.
Eye Color: Innocents is the most striking thing that one takes noticed of when looking into the russet brown coloration of Shishiza's big(though not only so) round eyes. They glint with a comforting, soothing warmth that's like sitting a front of an opening flame on a cold night that lulls you into a calming state. Of course they are capable of other emotions, but for the most part they remain as such.
General Description: Cascading below the waist, her chestnut brown hair has a healthy luster to it, signs of her taking care of the brown locks. A long ribbon is securely wrapped around her head, a fashion statement, along with a way to keep her bangs from obscure her vision. A good thing to, for if it wasn't there many would miss the opportunity of being privilege in seeing one of her more striking attributes. Shishiza is gifted with a set of oval eyes, reddish – brown or as it's commonly called russet in coloration, an unspoken amount of innocence can be seen within them. A innocence that's befalls someone of her occupation. Amongst this innocent there's a soothing warmth. A warmth that's not like a raging flame but a sully one, providing just enough heat to keep one comfortable and not overly so. The eyes and hair only seems to accentuate a soft, round cherub face with a cute little button nose and thin but lush pink lips. A set of pearly white teeth reveal themselves when she flashes a smile at a bystander or friend. Shishiza's face seem to betray the fact that she's actually an adult, and not a teenager. And unfortunate for her there are other aspects of her that betrays the fact as well. . .
Either it's genetics, through her own training or a combination of both, Shishiza has a small petite frame that resembles that of a dancer. Standing at one hundred sixty centimeters and weighing fifty kilograms, her muscles are defined but not overly so – keeping with her feminine and youth appearance. Adding onto her ageless appearance is her unblemished peach cream skin, soft and soothe to the touch, it always carries a light scent of jasmine. While she might be petite there are certain parts of her that sticks out more so than others, and depending on the clothing choice for the day tend to be the attention grabber for wandering eyes. Shishiza's inherited her considerable bust(B-Cup) from her mother along with her shapely hips and her peach shape buttocks. Of course there are other aspects that she inherited but they are muted at best. While some of the more 'lively' individuals have compliment her on the above mentioned assets, others have not, preferring to comment on legs. Said legs are lengthy and seems to go on for miles with not end in sight, devoid of hair, ankle bracelets dangle from them, ending in her utterly cute toes that are painted a variety of colors. The same bracelets/circlets also dangles from her arms. Of course she knows well not to well such things doing duty and thus they are absent.
About You!
Personality: Shishiza is the epitome of innocence. A natural pure diamond, having not been corrupted by the cruelness of the world. Upon meeting her one will become overwhelmed by the innocent-like aura effortlessly rolling of her petite frame. The ever present smile on her face, showcasing her pearly whites, and the soothing warmth in her eyes only add to the innocent visage. Compounding onto that is the way she views the world around her – with a delicately balanced child-like curiosity and shinobi-like awareness. Yes, don't make a mistake while she might not seem to be aware of her surroundings –when talking to others – the truth to the matter is that she's – her spatial awareness being one of many enduring and valued traits she possess.
Friendly. The Takagari woman is friendly to all those that come in contact with her, never being openly rude to complete strangers, always given them the utter most respect – even when they don't deserve it.
Most of the older generations are fond of the woman, she showing respect that's no longer seen nowadays. The kids of her generation being nothing more then disrespectful brats. Shishiza can easily fall in either as an exverted or inverted category – she having traits and characteristics of both. Outside of her shinobi duties Shishiza has a tendency of being a little bit meek and shy when coerce to start up a conversation or continuing one – especially in a particular topic she doesn't like. Of course her demeanor changes when in the presences of other shinobi, especially those that under her, which in case the woman has no problem in starting a conversation nor holding on – no matter the topic at hand.
Shishiza is, by all accounts, an outgoing individual who goes has a fairly complex social life. Is she friends with everybody? Heavens no! The Takagari woman just have a unique and interesting cast of individuals that she hangs out with, on an almost daily basis. Like anyone her of age, she does venture to the various night clubs though staying away from those in the more shadier parts of Kumogakure. Not like she couldn't venture there, having the necessary skills to defend against any who might want to take advantage of her, she prefers not to.
This is nice and all but what about her work ethic?
Perfection and stubborn, that basically sums up her work ethic. Shishiza doesn't half-ass anything that she's task with doing, always doing it to the best of her ability. For what's the point of doing something if you ain't going to put you all into it? If she don't believe that the assignment, excluding missions, haven't been done to the best of her or others abilities than she would do them over or have the individual to redo it. In short the woman is a perfectionist. This in it self is a double edge sword. On one hand her perfectionist nature allowed her to achieve certain achievements that would have otherwise haven't been possible, either because of the nature of the achievement or for some other circumstances. No matter the task at hand the woman will finish a task at hand completing it to the best of her ability. Is she stubborn? Of course, she doesn't quit to the job is done, or if something of utter importance become the focus point. This basically sums of her work ethic. . .
Sooo. . . what else?
Despite her deposition Shishiza does some from the occasional bouts of depression and guilt, the latter coming from her conducts as a shinobi, and the former coming from her personal demons. These moments of negative emotion usually don't affect Shishiza at least during work, but tends to weigh more heavily on her when she isn't doing anything. There is nothing one can do about the depression and guilt that resides in the woman, it's her problems that she will have to find a way to cope with.
While her appearance might be that of pure innocence, and her personality being that of a goodhearted person. There lies within her an individual who has a distrust of humans and humanity in general, having been privilege to the worse of it at a young age during her times at a shinobi. Distrustful. Self-motivated. Yeah, that sums up the majority of humans – at least in her opinion. Though unlike others who have the same trait, Shishiza doesn't express the dislike openly – in fact no one truly knows about this aspect of her, it only come to light when she makes certain cynical-like comments though said comments are usually taking with little to any insight within them. It's something that she likes to keep under wraps.
This basically sums up Takagari Shishiza.
Likes: Freedom. Shishiza wholeheartedly dislikes the idea of being caged in or having her movements restricted by any means. The simple action causing her to subtly act out, though not to the extent that many will noticed. Because of her dislike for restriction of any kind, it's not that surprising one of her likes would be freedom. The six letter word means more to her than such “being free”. It's an idea. It's a lifestyle. Freedom allows her to escape the harshness of the shinobi world, and bask in the presence of the all things pure. It grants her the ability to express herself however she likes without having someone telling her that it's unladylike or it doesn't suit her. Forget the domineering people! Forget those who must micro-manage others life! Yes, forget them all! Freedom allows her to do all of this and more. And it's probably one of her more purest(as it not being physical but more of as an idea) likes.
Mountains, more specifically heights. She isn't the type to get squeamish when standing up on the top of mountains, thousands of feet in the air, where the wind is at it's purest. While others might fear such things, she relish in the feeling that comes from being at those heights. In her opinion there isn't anything better than standing on the top of the highest mountain, the thinning of air and the whipping of the wind beating down upon thee. Having stemmed from adventures that her family use to take her own when a child, her love for both mountains and heights have only soared since.
Dancing. Shishiza is a natural dancer. She never did have to take class. There was no need to watch countless hours of other performers. No, she just ave to witness it a totally of two times before she were able to move like those who she was mimicking – a trait inherited from her mother. Though watching those close to her dancing, mainly her mother, she herself began to enjoy the activity and the freedom it brings. The sway of the body, capable of telling a story or conveying one's feelings when words aren't sufficient.
Birds. This really is self-explanatory. Being a Takagari member Shishiza was given a bird companion at a very young age. Said companion grew up with her and has been there for her through the darkest and brightest of times. Throughout all of this she has not only learn more about said companion but also the different types of birds, though one can easily say the latter came from her father being a well respected breeder of sorts. Her love for birds has cause her to never purposely harm others – only doing so for food. Birds to her are like the ultimate sign of freedom. . . one of her core likes.
Of course there are other things that Shishiza enjoys. Though they don't require an explanation like the above mention. So what are they? Well. . . believe it or not the woman enjoys food. She having a high metabolism and because of her occupation allows her to eat to her heart content without having to worry about gaining excess weight. Of course simply seeing her on the street, one wouldn't be able to realize this. Excluding food Shishiza enjoys: reading, writing, quite places, spending time with family, etc.
Dislikes: Dislikes. Shishiza isn't the type of person to hide things she disfavors from others, she doesn't openly sneer them – instead expressing her dislike for what it might be in the politeness way possible. And if the circumstances at the time don't favor that approach, she's willing to talk about the subject – know matter how much it bothers her.
There are many things Shishiza don't care much for. That she rather not have to deal with – being perfectly content in not having to ever come in contact with said things again. But the world isn't fair and often times she found herself having to deal with the things that she loathes greatly.
Chauvinistic Males. Everybody knows what they are, a couple of overly macho males that believe women are inferiors beings. The logic having somehow gotten so twisted that they believed that women can't never surpass the prowess of a male. And god forbid if one did! There will be exclamation that she had slept her way to the position or some other detestable action. Yes, Shishiza don't particularly care much for those with the view point. Does she hates them? Yeah and no. While she wouldn't give one a chance to date her. She wouldn't openly dismiss him either. Her view point on those with this trait is one of pity. She pity them for having to cover up their own faults by making themselves believe that they are superior than someone else. She pity them for not realizing that without a woman, men would cease to exist and that essential they view their own mother in the same light. Yeah. . . that's how Shishiza feels about Chauvinistic Males.
Destruction. Killing. Both of those things go hand and hand with one another and thus Shishiza don't see a reason not to see them in the same light. While the woman is far from being a pacifist, though one wouldn't know this at first glance, she does find herself detesting senseless destruction and killing. Now there's a contradiction within there – no destruction nor killing is senseless – for no matter how crazy(or stupid) one's motives are there are reasons for their actions. And Shishiza understands this perfectly. However, that doesn't mean she wouldn't do anything in her power to stop those who try to do said transgressions within Kumogakure. As for her? Yes, she admits of having killed before . . . it's somewhat required in her occupation. While she done so, it didn't bring her any pleasure only guilt. An emotion rising for having to take someone else life.
Enclosed Places. Maybe it's because of her being a Takagari member and thus have a close relationship with birds. Or it could simply be the fact that her mother was a free spirited individual. Who knows for certain? But know matter the reasoning, Shishiza find herself disliking enclosed places. The feeling is akin to that of being caged in. There's no key or anything. . . no way to escape. She abhors the feeling. Her dislike for enclosed places aren't easily recognized, though one can see her fingers began to twitched when placed in said situations – eyes darting around to find the nearness doo – err window.
There are other things that she dislikes, though they don't have that much importance and relatively easy to figure out if given some thought on them. These things include: disrespectful people, sour food, perverted men, peeping toms, wrinkly clothing, smelly people, shallow individuals, etc.
Motivations: There are many things both external and internal motivating Shishiza in her everyday life. While others might have set some distinction between what's important and what's not, such thinking isn't founded with her. For everything that drives Shishiza is considered important and have equal value. So what exactly motivates the young hatchling?
Kumogakure no Sato, the Village Hidden in Clouds, having been placed in a position of leadership, it has now become something dear to her heart – granted it was already dear to her but more so now. While she doesn't understand everything her new role now detail, Shishiza knows that the security and safety of Kumogakure's denizen now rest on her shoulders. She's now the falcon in sky watching over those who call the village home. A daunting task that calls her to question, of course not out loud,
their decisions daily. She herself don't believe that she's ready for the given role, but it's hers now and she must do right for herself but the village. There will be times where the denizens will look towards her strength, she will need to be able to project said feeling – even when she herself don't exactly believe – to give them the necessary strength to continue. She must become the pillar of strength for the village, someone that the can lean on when they are feeling weak. She must become the sword and shield for Kumogakure, protecting her children from harm and striking down those who wish to do the transgressions. Yes, she'll be called to do this and more all in the name of Kumogakure . . . all to protect what is hers. Is she ready for said things? Hell no! But the
upper echelons oblivious seen something within her that told them otherwise and thus placed their faith in her hands. And it's this unwavering faith that the echelons had for her, the support of the village when it was announced, that motivates her onward.
Peace. It's something that she
wants to achieve for the village and herself. Shishiza, don't have any missed guided inclination that it's possible to send the entire Shinobi Nations into a start of peace or a pseudo–Utopia. She isn't naïve enough to believe people will one day come to understand their fellow man. That wars would one day cease to exist. That everyone would be able to co-exist peacefully with one another. No, she doesn't believe that's possible as such the ideology have no place within her own. Peace for Shishiza means that Kumogakure aren't in any wars, and that the people are happy. Yes, that's what her definition of peace is. While she might not like it, she knows that in order to achieve, this blood (at times) will need to be spilled. There has never been peace without some form of war. A sad but important fact of history. And in order to give them the peace that they deserve, she will do what's needed of herself – personal feelings a side. Of course words can only take one so far, it's yet to be seen if she'll be able to start the war drums when the time calls. But for now the notion of peace will be a motivating factor.
Peace for the village in one thing. Peace for oneself is another. Shishiza, a portrayed as an innocent, caring, stable woman who have been given a difficult task and have yet to waver. It's easy to assume that she have made peace with herself. That can't be further from the truth. She has her own personal demons that cause turmoil to reign within. These demons have effected her both in her occupation and otherwise. They are the reason for certain actions she have taken in the past and the guilt the guilt that comes with them. Only when she's able to accept everything that she have done will she find internal peace. She knows this well but despite that it's easier said than done. She'll continue the struggle against her demons, till she become strong enough to vanquish them and get the peace she deserves. . .
Love. How old is Shishiza? Twenty-one. What's the expected life expectant for someone of her profession? Well . . . lets just say no one lives to their seventies, and that's pushing it, any more. While the life expectancy have nothing to do with her wanting to find love, it does play a small part – like a small devil on the shoulder that whispers “Tick. Tock. Tick. Tock.” She wants to find love, having experience it once before and it ended up in tragedy. She believes that she's now better equip to handle everything that comes with a commitment. This doesn't mean that she wants to settle down, she just want to have someone, of the human variety, to come home to.
Family. It plays an important part within her life – after all they were the ones who raised her to the woman she's today. They were the ones who were there for her during the darkness and happiness of times. They have helped her through numerous of circumstances that she would've otherwise given up on. It might sound cliché' but they are truly her best friends who she can confided anything to without worrying being judged.
Fears: Fears. They are the single thing keeping humans alive. They're the reasons for the constant evolution of mankind. Fears makes humans honest and provides obstacles for them to overcome and grow from. While they can be crippling, no fear is permanent, it's there for mankind to find away to defeat it. For when mankind defeats a fear, they become stronger. So in a sense fears are the ever presence enemies that all humans have. An enemy that will always there till it's vanquished for good, and even then another might take it's place. They are re-occurring, never truly leaving from human's lives. Now this brings up an important question. What does Shishiza fear? Well. . .
Destruction of Kumogakure. This is the most prominent fear that resides within her heart. Shishiza can't bare the thought of having the village destroyed during her reign, for it not only will it look bad on her but it also means that the critics, who doubted her, was right. Of course her fear of the village destruction ties in with her dislike and motivations on wanting to excel at the current position.
Being Caged in. Though unlike her fear of enclosed spaces, this is referring to any woman's fear of being captured by slave traders and sold into slavery. Shishiza absolutely fears and detest such possible outcome and does everything in her power to not become a statistic. This fear of being a slave for some despicable man, morphs into her (slightly) overprotective nature for the kunochis under her command. She won't willing send them on missions that have a possible of that happening to them. And even when she does so, she's nervous and prays for their safe return. Of course her overprotective nature also extends to the males as well. For there are some slave traders who have
peculiar tastes.
Spiders. Let it not be said that Shishiza isn't normal. The woman have a very strong fear towards the eight legged freaks. There are numerous of adjectives she could use to described them, most of them not for the ears of young children. They are creepy, disgusting and evil things that should be eradicated! And Shishiza has no quells in killing them with a righteous fury – much to the chagrin of those presents.
Death. It's apart of nature. It's something that everyone will experience sooner or later. And within the chosen occupation it's something that many have come to expect. This doesn't mean that Shishiza can't be afraid of it. Don't get it wrong, the woman will lay down her life for the village in a heartbeat. Her village means that much to her. However, she's still afraid for when that day come. This fear of dying is the main reason while she had continued to live. Death is powerful motivator after-all. . .
Interesting enough the death of her pet companion is more troubling than the prospect of dying. Than again being a Takagari member and having a partner from moment of birth, who have been through everything with her, it's understandable why she fears the death of her partner.
Aside from the above mentioned things. There are a hand full of other things that she fears, though many if not most of them are insignificant at best. Like anything in life her fears aren't set in stone and are subject to change as she overcomes them. As more of her story unravels, new fears will be discovered.
History: The life of Takagari Shishiza started out like everybody else, a baby born to a retired shinobi couple who resided in the mountains surrounding Yokuchi no Sato. The child came into the cruel world weighing a healthy 7lbs 2ox, with a head full of hair and a set of lungs capable of shattering glass. The prospect of being another being into the world was both a joyousness and somber occasion. The former being because they had always wanted a child, a combination of the two, someone they could carry on their legacy when they expire from this world. On the opposite end of the spectrum there realized that the life they had lived, before she came along, would be coming to an end. They now had something bigger than themselves to take care of. No matter how much losing their hobbies would hurt them, it wasn't about them any longer.
In order to understand where they were coming from, one must understand a very important fact. The couple were shinobi for Yokuchi no Sato, and dealt with the darker side of the world. The side where even those in Anbu dared not to do. They have committed crimes in that name for their village without question. The amount of blood they have shred was endless, and no matter how much they try to wash it off it would always be on their hands. They visions of the men, women, and children that had fallen by their hands will forever haunt them to their death beds. The pair of elites no longer cared about their body count total, it was insufficient and pointless at best, killing to them was as easy as breathing air, and if became meaningless as the years past. However, like anything there are leaks and some of their mission had been leaked to the public and well . . . lets just say the reception was what they expected, shinobi and civilians that didn't know the depths of what it means to be a shinobi was disgusted at the actions the couple did for the village. The Kage, bless his soul, cried his best to calm the masses down. It did no good and the pair were ostracize from society, thus they moved to the mountains were the Takagari clan resided. Despite moving to the mountains the news that they were having a child, many cringed and prayed to their respective Kami for the child, who would be born into darkness.
Sometimes it takes the smallest of lights to overwhelm darkness and for the couple, Shishiza was that light. One couldn't simply change overnight, and this was the case for them. The following months were different from the couple, instead of going out an indulging themselves in the vices of the world – both of them stayed in with their bright eye bundle of joy. They experience growing pains, like any first time couple could, restless nights were young Shishiza didn't sleep was a constant in their lives. The occasional sickness causing them to panic and rush her to the hospital only to be told everything would be find, was a norm for them. The discovered the wonderful mystery in how something so cute could product such a prudent diaper order. They felt their frustration rise as they were subjected the hardest mission of their lives – putting a crib together! Oh how they wish to destroy said contraption! Though with completing each obstacle the darkness that were once around the couple slowly but surely evaporated. The friends, and comrades became distant themselves slowly came back within to their lives. Yes, things were looking up the family and it was all thanks to their bundle of joy!
Time didn't wait for any man, woman or child, it kept on going no matter the reason at hand and this was the case for Shishiza. Now two years old, the baby was causing even more trouble for her parents – in sighting them to remember what other named this particular age – 'the terrible twos.'
Anything and everything Shishiza tried, and sometimes succeeded, getting into cause her parents fits. If it wasn't sticking a finger into an outlet, it was trying to touch something on the stove, or finding one of the stray kunai or explosive tags that laid around carelessly in the couple rooms. The first few attempts to touch or grab something on the stove or sticking a finger in the outlet was met with resistance from the parents. However, they quickly realized that until she learn from experiencing what could happen when she touch/grab these things than and only than will she learn that she shouldn't. This prove to be true after said child received a nasty shock from the outlet and getting burned from touching the stove. Needless to say she learnt her lesson well and never touched those things again. Despite that this didn't stop her from attempting to throw a kunai or flinging an explosive tag – much to her parents chagrin.
When does one start introducing their child to the shinobi lifestyle? Some say when they begin to form coherent sentences. Others say at the tender age of five. The couple didn't have a definite answer for the question that plagued them at night. Both having come from shinobi extensive backgrounds, having started learning the arts at the age of four and anyone can see the psychological damage done to them. They consulted friends and family who all started down the path at an older age – this didn't prove helpful either – for some still suffered from mental damage done by the career choice – while others were able to live normal lives. This led them to seek advice from the resident shinobi counselor, an individual who specialize in evaluating the psychological prowess of an inspiring shinobi seeing if it was plausible for them to become one. The counselor were also used when a parent wanted to introduce their child to the shinobi lifestyle.
At the age of five, Shishiza was put through various psyche testing along with getting a physical evaluation from a doctor who worked closely with the counselor they sought out. The testing last three days with both of the parents being present for all of it's entirely. It would be an additional two days afterward to find out the results of the test. The test would decide if she was suitable to be integrated into the lifestyle. On the mean time the egg that she had been given months prior had hatched and a healthy female falcon emerge.
The test came back with good news, while Shishiza showed traits of being a pacifist – preferring not to kill unless there isn't any choice – the child had a sharp mind and physical potential that would grow as she got older. The parents decided against training her, despite having given the green light to do so. They having come to a conclusion a day prior that while they will teacher her the shinobi way – it wasn't a right time for her now. Besides this would be the perfect time to build the bond between her and her companion. Not only that they wanted to spend more time with their only daughter. One can't fault a parent for that. . . can they?
Three years passed quickly for family and the people around them. The girls who Shishiza use to gossip with were now going to the academy following their crushes – icky boys with cooties who she beat up were not heading off to become glorified killers. Yes, her friends were disappearing if only for a little while. With each one that came back they spoke of grandeur of the academy. How excited they were about becoming a shinobi for Yohucki ! How they couldn't wait to save a princess or prince! How they looked forward in fighting bad guys. They made it seem so easy – so simple – so fun.
Shishiza knew better. Two years ago, her parents allowed her to read documentations of an edited shinobi biographical. With the help of her parents, not being able to pro-announce certain words nor knowing the meaning, Shishiza began to understand the dangerous life that her parents once led and apart of her idolize them for that, but like a ton of bricks it her her – her friends were unknowingly walking in the same path as her parents! She learned how the survival rate of genins aren't incredibly high and one should consider themselves lucky to even making chuunin. The world was unpredictable, missions getting marked incorrectly happen more likely than some would admit. From reading documentations of kunochis she learned things were bleak for those of her gender – seduction missions, possibility of rap, etc. they were objectified in more mission than their male counter parts. The prospect of sleeping with a client or doing some other degrading act for information or to simply slit their throats was a sickening ideal. The threat of getting captured and raped by the captors or being sold into slavery, biting down on a suicide pill stealthy hidden in a tooth, when there wasn't any other option and pray that the contents of the capsule would work in time. Yeah it made her to rethink her career choice more than once. But the cold hard facts were good for her.
In the two years her parents started training her – physical exercise being the name of the game. The word
game being appropriated for they took normal child games to the extremes. A simple game of tag became much more when surface walking and fake explosive tags were added to the mix. A game like hide and seek became even more fun when dull kunai/shuriken were added to the mix. Other children games were used to increase her strength, speed and reaction time – the end result having Shishiza being incredibly strong for her age. And don't think for a minute that her feathery companion was exempt from the training – for she was not.
Yes, the two years taught her a lot.
Which can explain why, at the age of eight, the child was at a lost when her friends talked about the fun they were having in the academy. The rational side of her knew what they spoke was a lie. On the other hand she was a child and like any wanted to spend more time with her friends – getting involved in the fun they were apparently having. She she ask for admission to the academy? Or does she wait till she think she's ready? Her rational side won out not with some help with her parents.
The next year Shishiza's parents upped her training after she had come to them and express her desire of joining the academy. They supported her decision while being skeptic about allowing her to join. They knew the horrors that comes with become a shinobi and knew she knew them as well – didn't stopped them from worrying about their baby. The year focused on her chakra control, physical attributes and the Takagari clan inherited gift – which they call in the assistance of other clan members. This continued this training till the day she enter the academy.
Pain and sorrow. A month after turning nine years old Shishiza attended the funeral of a former a friend. Said friend being apart of the upperclassmen that she had befriend some time ago – him and the entire squad, excluding the Jounin, died in a botched mission. A simple C-rank mission that turned out to be A-rank borderline S-rank. . . they never knew what hit them. The Jounin sensei managed to live but barely. This all happen because of a single mistake made by one who labeled the missions.
At the time Shishiza didn't really understand lost. What was she suppose to feel? Sorrow? Regret? Guilt? Losing someone was a foreign concept to her – never had she lost anyone close to her and thus couldn't comprehend on what exactly to feel. Yes, she had been to other funerals having gone with parents to their comrades' but rarely did she see many emotions from them. Despite their lack of emotion it was them who she sought comfort from. It was them who she wailed out in frustration in losing someone who she had considered a brother in all but blood.
Lost, that she was for a couple of days following the funeral. She knew that she shouldn't dwell on what can't be brought back, but she was also a kid with emotions, so could one blame her? Her closure came when the boy's family came by and talked with her. The conversation would do wonders for the nine year old.
The academy, Shishiza didn't know what to expect in her first day attending it and it was not the numerous amounts of fan girls and boys that plagued the classroom. The only bright side was the teacher who luckily for her wasn't the stereotypical chuunin teacher who sugar coated everything. The woman told them the cold hard facts about the world that they were venturing into – forget saving princes and princesses – forget fighting the bad guys – this wasn't a game, one will die!
Over half of the students quit that day.Time passed quickly for Shishiza. The academy having been proven fun – at least to her. The teacher from the first day was truly a slaver driver. The woman pushed all those who remained to the breaking point and back. This wasn't surprising for Shishiza for she remember the first thing the woman said when she entered the classroom on the first day.
“I will break and remould you into my image of a shinobi. By the time you leave her you will be a better person than you was when you first came.” No truer words have ever been spoken. The woman made true with her words. They were taught everything they needed to know and more. It wasn't surprising that they all graduated from the academy, having passed the first step in the becoming a shinobi.
The following two years brought new experiences for the now eleven year old girl. Under the tulegale of the male Jounin sensei she learned more about what it meant to be a shinobi of Yokuchi no Saato. What it meant to protect something that's larger than herself. The value of team work and depending on one's comrades. Yes, she couldn't be happier with the squad she was in. And before she knew it their sensei deemed them ready for the chuunin exam.
Having successfully promoted to chuunin, Shishiza's life couldn't been better, parents were proud of her accomplishments and they were generally happy about the life she was leading. The thirteen year old's still retained her pacifist nature, she would kill if there wasn't any other choice – each kill being quick and painless as possible.
Her promotion to special jounin came by quicker than what she had honestly expected. A combination of a botch mission, where she had somehow managed to save her squad and return back to the village with the objected completely along with having enough acknowledgments from others to warrant the promotion. The fact that she became well known in the village helped as well. Did she want the promotion? Sure! The idea of being given more responsibility was exciting. More so than she thought. . .
The Great Move. That what many had called the moment when Kumogakure no Sato was deemed livable, after three hundred years, and those who's parents/grandparents orientated from the place headed home – the entire Takagari family being a prime example. The thought of moving away from all the friends that she had made was sour but a necessary one. Those who were close to her were sadden to see her leave but all of them promise to keep in contact with one another. And thus the move happened.
Three years passed by quickly for Shishiza. The Takagari family having successfully integrated themselves back into their normal routine within the revived Kumogakure no Sato. The entire Takagari clan had located themselves in some of the highest mountains within the village where they kept of the tradition of raising and breeding falcons. As for Shishiza? She have gotten promoted to Jounin two years after the return. The time as a Special Jounin having taught her a lot about the world that she lives in. She had saw the depths of enemies which exist in humanity. The fear of being caged in also became prominent to her doing a fail mission where she was captured and locked in a cage and if it wasn't for her companion only Kami knew what would have happen to her. Needless to say the missions she took as a special jounin changed her. . .
Jounin. No sooner after she had became one she was straddled with her own genin squad. Said squad showed potential and seeing how she was the sensei of them it would be up to her to draw out that potential. Weeks. Months. Years. They went by quickly for the woman and her squad, she having taught them the same way her former sensei taught her along with mixing some of her parents teaching as well. She has watched them grow up in become a c competent group of shinobi. She gave them the confidence they needed to succeed among other things. She was with them during their first kill, consoling them, becoming their pillar of strength. Yes! She was there for her team and she couldn't been more pride when they passed their chuunin exams.
But this wasn't the only thing that had happen to her. For because of mission that she had taken during certain periods as a Jounin she had became recognized as one of the strongest females within Kumogakure no Sato and successfully obtain S-rank status within the village!
With this new status, what's in store for Takagari Shishiza? What new adventures will she go on? Only time will tell for certain.
RP Sample: The fire roared loudly, embers lightning up the night sky and leaving butterfly kisses upon the female's tan skin, the bearer of said skin did not flinch nor shy away from such advances – the needed for warmth out weighed the concern of small burns. Light tan hands rubbed together in an attempt to stimulate even more warmth before being placed a front of the crackling wood – digits spread outward soaking up the heat from the small hellish inferno. It was a cold night amongst the top of the mountains – the fog escaping the person's lips testifying to this statement. It was cold upon the top of Kumogakure no Sato's highest mountain. Though it could have been worse . . . at least the snow was light.
Almost like a whisper amongst the crackling flame, snoring was heard, coming from a female silhouette near the individual. Said person had been saved by her who had only hiked up the mountain on a whim and to be as close to the sky as possible. The route she had taken was one that they normally wouldn't but her feathery companion had been adamant in taking said route – she had must knew something they didn't. It was because they took the given route that they founded their
friend totally lost along the path. She would have offer to lead them downward but night had descended quickly and it would have been wise to trek the trail in darkness – not even they were that good . . . yet.
Looking up into the canvas she caught sight of a bird heading towards their location with something big obliviously in their talons – seems like she had brought back some food. She waited patiently till her feathery companion landed near her, dropping the large rabbit at her feet, it was a good catch. Not wasting any time the female began the process of cleaning the rabbit, tossing the entrails to the bird who ate them contently. Soon the smell of cooked rabbit would waffled through the area, waking up the sleeping companion.
Shishiza herself would enjoy the meal as much as her companion had.
