Swords Name: Brotherhood
Type Of Weapon: Sword
Rank: A
Elemental Alignment: /
Ability/Function: During it's construction; Raijin placed upon the blade the clan's signature seal; which allows him to channel chakra through the blade in ways that would normally not be possible. In addition; he is able to utilize his Tap-Transfer Sealing method more efficiently; and with decreased stress on the blade because of this; allowing him to transfer and place up to S-rank seals without placing undue stress on the blade.
Close/Long Range: Close
Appearance: This blade is far more ornate then most; with a strangely shaped blade. It has a short handle, obviously meant to be used single handed for the most part. It lacks a proper guard; instead the blade itself is wide and oversized where it connects to the grip, with gold and yellow gilding. The blade itself is blue and fairly long, roughly 3 and a half feet in length. At the tip of the blade is a protrusion that is shaped like a hook of sorts, and can be used as such if needed. There is a short bit of cloth attached to the hilt via a small metal loop, that is mostly for decoration.
History: This blade is a family heirloom of sorts; Raijin's grandfather commissioned it as a functional art-piece. The blade is so ornate by most standards, that you would not believe it could be effective; however so long as it is properly maintained, the sword is just as lethal as any other blade. It was presented to Raijin for his 16th birthday, and since then, he has trained exclusively with it.
Name: Caladbolg
Type Of Weapon: Sword
Rank: S
Elemental Alignment: Raiton
Ability/Function: Caladbolg is similar to Raijin's other sword, Brotherhood. In fact, the two could be considered brothers; as Caladbolg was formed to work in tandem with it's older brother. However, where as Brotherhood was an experiment of sorts, Caladbolg is the completed version. Raijin took everything he's learned from the use of Brotherhood to create the base for Caladbolg. The sword itself is based off a weapon his clan once used, when they where little more then war monks and war priests. The metal itself is a far higher quality of steel, alloyed with the same chakra metal used to create chakra knives and the like. While the use of steel versus pure chakra metal makes the blade less powerful as a chakra conductor, it does make the blade more resistant to physical attacks. Much as was done with Brotherhood, Caladbolg has the basic Tsukino clan Fuuinjutsu seal inscribed upon it; left open as before so that without the proper user, the seal is mostly useless. However, when the seal was inscribed this time; it was done via a concentrated burst of Raiton; which imbued the blade itself with a constant charge of electricity. Because of this, any attack that uses this blade gains a mild Raiton attribute; similar to how the clan's specialized seals do. Because of the knowledge gained with Brotherhood, as well as the use of chakra metal in the blade; Caladbolg is able to handle far more power Fuuinjutsu then it's brother. A maximum of 10 E-D rank, 5 C-rank, 3 B-A rank, and 1 S-rank seal may be channeled through the blade before the seal itself becomes unusable. Once this happens, Raijin must spend time resetting the seal, either in the topic in which the seal fails, or a new one. The resetting period requires 750 words or more.
Close/Long Range: Both
Appearance: Caladbolg is unusual looking; but nowhere near as much so as it's brother. It follows the same path in some ways, with barbs instead of a hook and the same blue enameling. The tip has a small reverse facing barb, useful for taking more flesh with it if the blade was to pierce someone. About 1/5th of the way down the blade is a second, slightly larger barb; useful for the same reason. The base of the blade is ornate; gilded with gold and small emerald colored stones. The blade itself has stylized spike-blades protruding from the base, which increases with length of the reverse-edge blade while not interfering with the usage of the sword itself and acts as the guard of the sword at the same time. Caladbolg is a one handed sword for the most part, although the grip is long enough to allow for some two-handed usage. The grip is thinner then most swords of the same size; again due to it's nature as a mostly one-handed sword. It was also made thinner to accommodate the somewhat smaller hands of it's owner. The grip itself is a base of fine wire over steel, with a layer of both leather and tightly wrapped cloth for comfort and grip. The pommel of the sword is golden-colored and somewhat heavy, the extra weight needed to counter-balance the unusual shape of the blade. Raijin has created a specialized harness for Caladbolg; a leather buckle harness to hold the blade attached to a strap that allows him to carry the blade slung across his back and shoulders; with the grip at his left shoulder where it is easily accessible for him to quickly draw.
History: Caladbolg is a very young blade; having only just been forged in the last year or so. The Tsukino have long standing contracts with many of the weapon and blacksmiths of Kumokagure, and it was through the sword smith whom is contracted to his family that the blade itself was created. The process took several months, as chakra metals are notoriously difficult to alloy. However, Raijin was adamant that Caladbolg be created with the material, so after several failed attempts; the blade itself was created. Raijin received the blade upon completion, and immediately took it home to begin the inscription process. This time, he was able to inscribe the blade with no help from his elders; having spent the months leading up to that point practicing on left over scraps of steel and chakra metal. It was during this practicing that he leaned he was able to imbue Raiton into the blade if he charged the seal with a steady flow of the chakra during creation. Once the seal was created and had settled; he took the same enamel paint that he used for Brotherhood and coated Caladbolg with it; cementing the two blades as brothers.
Name: Cost of Glory
Type Of Weapon: Sword
Rank: SS
Elemental Alignment: Raiton
Ability/Function: The pinicle of the Lightning Blades crafted using the skills of the Tsukino clan, Cost of Glory is a supremely powerful weapon; known to overpower those lacking the skill to weild it. Only a Tsukino or similarly Raiton immune being can even touch the blade without being electrocuted; as it produces enough Raiton energy to power a small city even when dormant. Drawing and activating the power of the blade is enough to create raging thunderstorms over the battle field.
- Raiton Generation:
Name: Raiton Generation
Type: Passive || Weapon Enhancement
Description: The blade produces an innate Raiton field around itself so powerful that it almost instantly summons thunderstorms when drawn, and can easily kill with a single cut. Owner gains +2 to Raiton when Cost of Glory is active.
- Partial Sentience:
Name: Partial Sentience
Type: Weapon Enhancement
Description: The Cost of Glory is so powerful as to be self-aware to a degree. While not truely 'alive', it carries an innate intellegence on the same level of most of the higher mammals and reptiles. It is able to recognize the chakra signature of it's weilder and allies, and will violently reject anyone that it does not feel falls within that group. Anyone without S-rank Raiton that attemps to take Cost of Glory and is rejected by the blade will suffer electrocution so severe that without S-rank medical attention they will die within 5 posts.
Close/Long Range: Close
Appearance: The Cost of Glory has no set demensions; each time the blade is forged it is adjusted to best suit the intended weilder. In this instance, the blade is roughly 6ft (2m) long from tang to blade tip, with the actual cutting edge of the blade running 5ft (1.5m) from guard to tip. The blade itself is nearly 1ft (.3m) wide, and a full 2in (.05m) thick at the center. The blade splits roughly at it's center of gravity, creating the effect of being twin blades joined into one masterpiece of destructive power. The ornate edging of the blade is actually a masterful design element; the curves and spikes allow for maximum physical damage while stopping the normal suction effect caused by wet flesh from slowing down and hampering the blade, while the split center allows for flexibility and a weight reduction that gives the blade far more speed and manuverability then if it was a solid slab of metal.
History: A long and bloody history follows this blade; it's existance is nothing more then a bad fairy tale that parents tell naughty children in most places of the world. Only the creators and weilders of the blade know the truth; only the Tsukino clan that holds the blueprints and skill to recreate this legendary deathbringer can ever understand it properly. While not originally of the clan, they are the last guardians of it's secrets; the only beings that know of the complex seals and special elements needed to create the weapon from scratch. No single Cost of Glory has ever lasted for more then a few decades; the very nature of the blade is self destructive in ways that are inescapable. No weilder of the blade has survived owning it, either; the blade is famous for bringing death to it's masters. Once every few generations comes a swordsman with the skill and special abilities needed to handle the blade; and each has gone down in history via blazes of glory; both light and dark. To weild a Cost of Glory is to become a legend; but as the name implies, all glory comes with a cost. Only those willing to pay can realize the truth.

Type:Passive
Description: When Raijin acquired the armor, he applied the Tsukino clan seal to the armor, which gave it a mild passive Raiton Generation. Over several years of rarely, if ever, removing the armor, the passive generation has increased several fold; causing a passive field of B-rank Raiton to overlap and enhance his already impressive naturally generated field; boosting the overall damage caused in the overlap zone to be SS-rank. The overlap zone extends from his own body and outwards to roughly 3 meters (15ft) in all directions. Raijin is able to suppress this field via chakra manipulation and the suppression of his natural discharge; OR by focusing the discharge into the ground through his feet.
