Brilliance breeds madness, as I like to say. This is true in this case. While the clan doesn't have much behind it and is relatively new, it's a nice tale all the same. Obviously, Puppetry originated from the late Sunagakure; so what is a clan like this doing in Kusa? Simply, after the new rule and building of Yokuichi, a puppet creator was thrown out. Why you might ask? He was certifiably insane. Human puppetry is obviously forbidden, and this psycho just loved to experiment with live subjects. His entire house was filled with dead bodies modified into different grotesque creations. Some of the puppets were dead people he had dug up from the graveyard and the rest... Were very poor, unfortunate souls.

Needless to say he was shunned and ran out of the village, barely escaping a death sentence as he fled. Some say he was cackling all the way. Sadly he had to leave behind his... Experiments... But he was on the verge of a discovery he thought would change puppetry for the better, for all of mankind. (He was psychotic, but he wasn't evil. Just... Misunderstood.) He just needed a place, maybe for just another year or so.

Lo and behold, he chose Kusagakure for it's reputation of mad men; the Malkavians and Kuramas. He fit in just nicely under a disguise he had made just in case Yokuichi put out notices about him. In took exactly one year, seven months, two weeks and four days for his project to come to a finished closure. All he needed was a better test subject than himself and the unwillingly personnel he wrung out every now and then. He wanted to see if it worked through the stages of aging. All it took was another few months and he had found a rather unlucky woman who genuinely fell for him. (To each their own.)

He cared nothing for her, but this was in the interest of science. Nine months later, he had a child, a female. Slaughtering the woman when he was done with her and putting his experiment into motion with the young baby girl, he grinned proudly over his success. Time would tell... And it did. Ten years later, while he was getting older and weaker, everything turned out to be worth it. The mechanical eye fitted into his daughter and himself worked perfectly alongside special puppets fused with chakra recievers he created, and he couldn't be happier as he passed away.

The girl, Aya, grew up as twisted as himself; and passed along his teachings to her children and the children after that. She helped continue the business and to this day it remains as the Kamakiri clan, all privileged with their own special eye as they emerge into the world.

Kekkei Genkai: Kugutsugan (Puppet's Eye)
Kekkei Genkai Description: Maybe not able to be literally classified as a "Doujutsu", the Kugutsugan is implanted in the children of the Kamakiri clan at birth; replacing either eye. This eye is specially routed to the clan's chakra recievers, which are melded inside of every puppet made by the clan. They are put alongside the main body as well as the eyes, and are very cheaply but durably manufactured.  By focusing chakra into the Kugutsugan, they are able to transmit a signal to the chakra recievers that allows them to control the puppets without using chakra strings. They are also able to see what the puppet sees at all times the eye is active. This makes them a force to be reckoned with in battle as they tend to have perfect synchronization with the puppet they control; they also make very good scouts and spies.

Drawbacks:

• The mechanical eye is both a gift but also hinders the user; it gives them a large blindside. They can't see anything out of it when it's not in use, and even then they can only see what the puppet sees.
  
• This requires a large amount of focus and attentiveness to pull off, having to constantly transmit the signal as well as deal with seeing split-screen style when the Kugutsugan is active.
  
• All puppets purchased by the clan cost a higher ryo amount per rank. E being 25, and then; 50 at D, 100 at C, 150 at B, 200 at A, 400 at S and 700 at SS. (Pricier and stronger, more complex puppets; more durable/amount of chakra recievers. Though each individual receiver isn't expensive to make, the masses of them needed to control each and every mechanic of the puppet from a distance adds up to a high price over higher ranks.)
  
• Clan members cannot utilize chakra flow, as the wiring of the eye makes it difficult for them.
  
• Chakra strings are still usable if the puppeteer so wishes to, but due to the transmission of high-frequency chakra from the Kugutsugan they are unable to be used at the same time.
  
• Sensory ninja can easily track the source of the signal from the Kugutsugan when it is active.
  
• Being caught in a genjutsu leaves the puppetmaster completely vunerable in more ways than usual- thanks to the way genjutsu effects the chakra system the Kugutsugan is unable to be utilized during this time.

Description: Replacing an eye of the clan member at birth, the Kugutsugan is a mechanical creation that transmits chakra into special recievers when activated. Recievers are melded into the puppets of the clan, not only their body but also their eyes. This jutsu had two specific abilities; one, it allows the user to control puppets without the use of chakra strings, using the chakra transmitted to make it move and fight the way other puppeteers would using the other method. Secondly, it allows the user to see out of the puppet's eyes in the sense of a split screen, seeing normally out of their own eye and seeing through the puppet with the Kugutsugan one. The eye ranks up in use with the ninja who holds it, increasing in range of effect and the amount of puppets than can be controlled at once.
