Clan History:
The ability of this clan wasn't easy to develop, nor did it quickly generate over the attempted creator's next of kin. It took many generations until the power finally surfaced within a young girl, the only one in her family at the time who could do such a thing. The clan, the barely known Rikka, had always been Suiton specialists. They were some of the most knowledgable people scattered around the villages over the element and still to this day remain just as intelligent as they were. It was a dream, an obsession, to develop what they had. The complete control over water past utilizing it in jutsu. At the time it was nothing but a crackpot theory with enough focus and chakra control they might be able to do such a thing. And so it remained; for many, many years.

It wasn't until shortly before Ame's destruction that the aforementioned girl was finally born and she was treated like a princess. A queen, even. Pure royalty within the clan. She was what their many years of practice and math and study finally led to, and she was a complete success. The problem with the Ame's government was it's shadiness, however, and it didn't take long for the girl to be taken away once she matured to a point of mastering the ability. They used her for their own nefarious purposes; it was an underground, black market type deal. It wasn't that the entire force of Ame was corrupt, it was just that a strong portion of it was and they had means to get what they want.

Surpisingly, however, they underestimated the STRENGTH of the girl's power just a bit much. They never doubted it was strong, they just never thought about exactly how strong she was with it. She broke out a month of preparation, tests and imprisonment later. They weren't stupid enough to leave her near copious amounts of water so she had to ration the amount she was given to live; slipping it in a special goatskin pouch hidden against her thigh until she had enough that the bag was bulbous and damp. She only needed that much; just enough to knock out his guards, grab the keys, and let herself gracefully out of the place.

Shortly after, Ame was destroyed- she seemed to have gotten out just in time. Moving to Niwa during the rebuilding process, she had a beautiful family with her husband. Her kids, happily noted, shared the same power she did. It was a silent tribute to the ancestors who had devoted their lives to this cause. After settling down in Niwa she grew old, and eventually, perished. Her kids had kids and they had kids... You know how it goes.

The Rikka are still a force to be reckoned with, combining their gift along with the keen intellect they all possess.

Kekkei Genkai: Mizu ayatsuri (Water manipulation)
Kekkei Genkai Description: An advanced form of water release, this clan is blessed with mastery over the element. Not just for high-ranked jutsu, but literally and physically masters over water itself. They can shape, move and control water, purely. They can use it to fight or defend or even just to be silly and play around. Because of this, and how attuned they are with it, they gain +2 to the power of their water based jutsu and take -2 ranks of damage from all water based jutsu against them.

Drawbacks:

• All clan members take +2 damage from Raiton based attacks and cannot have Katon as an element.
  
• All water based jutsu from the clan members do -1 damage against anyone with Doton as their main element.
  
• Controlling the water takes concentration; any genjutsu or strong physical attacks against them will cut off their connection to the water and put the ability on forced cooldown.
  
• The technique limits itself in multiple ways, mainly due to not being able to do too much until higher rankings, as listed in the jutsu description.

Description: Allows the control of water existing near the Rikka clan member, simply put. By forming a handsign the user is able to move and shape, as well as attack with, any water within an increasing area around them. All schematics of this jutsu depend on rank. All d and c-rank creations dissolve after a post, while b and a-rank last for two and s-rank lasts for three. (This is due to the chakra forcibly controlling the water as the molecules of the liquid fights against it.) All attacks c-rank and higher have a chance to bruise depending on the durability of the target. The clan's +1 to water strength does not apply to this ability. Water is unable to become something it isn't, such as sharp. All attacks that are meant to pierce/cut/etc. will instead be blunt edged. If the controlled water leaves up to five meters past the designated collection range this jutsu is cancelled and put on forced cooldown.
D-rank: Able to shape into small objects, such as shuriken and kunai, and chuck them at the opponent. Unable to control movements of the creations after they're fired. Able to draw water from five meters outwards. Hits like a rock.
C-rank: Able to shape objects around the size of a shoebox, such as large orbs. Can minutely control movement after fired- tilting up, down, left or right. Ten meter spacing that water is able to be drawn from. Hits like a fist.
B-rank: Objects as large as a broadsword are creatable and movable, that is to say, up to three feet long and roughly half a foot across. Can turn and swerve if needed. Twenty meter range. Hits like a metal bat.
A-rank: Objects the size of a matured human are creatable, two meters long and one to two feet wide. Able to do sharp turns in any directions and home after an enemy with focus. Forty meter range. Hits like an actual person just ran full force into you.
S-rank: Objects the size of a basic truck are creatable. Complete control over the movements even after fired. Eighty meter range. Hits like... Well... A truck.
