General Description: Ake has long red hair, and his right eye is of about the same color, though his left eye is pure white and completely blind. He's quite short at 5'5", and is fairly skinny for his height, weighing only 120 lbs. His skin is mostly clean and unmarred, except for the scar on his left eye caused by experiments done to himself.

Ake normally dresses himself in a clean, handsome military fashion. His undershirt is plain black and long-sleeved, and made from a stretchy material to allow easier body movement. Over this he wears a green long-sleeved jacket with camouflage strips on the shoulders, which can be pulled open and pushed off quickly in case of a battle. On his legs, Ake wears the same black, flexible material down to his knees, and over this he has on a pair of plain black pants. His feet are protected with black nin shoes. He keeps an eye patch over his left eye at all times. He also wears a weapon pouch on his left hip.


Personality: Unlike most of the rest of his clan, Fuhai is loud and boisterous, and sometimes even outright annoying, and has a rather bad habit of swearing when he becomes too excited. Fuhai actually dislikes the idea of his clan's secrecy and paranoia, and, quote, "doesn't dig all this hush-hush, man". A person usually gets a fairly good idea of the kind of person Fuhai is within the first ten minutes, as he tends to not understand the meaning of the phrase "shut up". He is also not only very trusting of strangers, but also quite brash and lacking in the virtue of caution, though this doesn't mean he can't or won't think on his actions and consequences of those actions beforehand. Fuhai also does not wear the gas mask, as most of the clan does, as his early experimentation in his own clan abilities has made his spores non-fatal to most others, and is almost entirely non-toxic. For this reason, he is seen as something of a black sheep in his own clan, while the rest of the world sees him as being friendly, if a little overly friendly for some.

Because of this, Fuhai can seem rather fun-loving, if a little too silly and eager. This is especially true when compared to the rest of the Anzutake clan. He is rather good-spirited and kind-hearted, especially for a ninja, and is the kind of person who forms bonds and friendships with others easily. The genin is also the type to try and break down barriers with his own forehead, which would make a disconnected person rather annoyed. Despite his brash nature, Fuhai has learned to be rather patient (with people, at least), and is not very easy to anger, and perhaps because of this, he has a rather laid-back attitude, making it easy for others nearby to relax as well. He appears to have no real sense of urgency in most of his actions, save for during training or battle, when he becomes incredibly excited and one is very likely to hear him curse, something which some might say he has a gift for.

Fuhai worries little about worldly things, though in what little time he is introspective, he understands where he stands philosophically. He understands that all things are connected to one another and depend on each other, and that if one only depends on him or herself, they will inevitably fail.

Likes: Fuhai loves, loves, loves meeting new people, getting to know them, and making friends with others. Because of this, Fuhai tends to not like engaging in combat very often, and greatly prefers conversation and charismatic parties. Although most of the time, it will seem that Fuhai greatly dislikes his clan, he does hold some respect for, quote, "the old geezers", otherwise referred to as the clan elders, and he does like the abilities the clan grants him, seeing in the clan jutsu a great repertoire of infinite possibilities. Fuhai loves the warm, wet weather of spring, and finds salted beef and potatoes (usually covered in melted cheese) absolutely delicious.

Dislikes: Although it was stated earlier that Fuhai does like his clan abilities and does hold respect for his clan elders, Fuhai greatly dislikes the paranoia and secrecy that grips most of the members of the clan and molds them into deep introverts, focused entirely on themselves. He generally dislikes it when people put up mental, physical, or emotional barriers against him or any kind of friendship, and so dislikes most of the singular people of the clan. He is not a great fan of being left alone and solitary, and prefers to be around other people when possible. He greatly dislikes cold weather, calling it "a terrible excuse to stay indoors and not see other people". Fuhai usually finds peace and tranquility boring, and is often trying to find something fun or dangerous to do during the day, sleeping deeply at night. He greatly dislikes the taste of most pork, save salted pork, and especially hates bland food.

Motivations: Fuhai seems to have little to motivate his actions, but he seems to have one rather ambitious goal: "To make the world a better place than how it was when I came into it. That is my nindo." He doesn't really seem to have any real urgency to make this motivation a reality, however, other than a philosophical idea that making a large number of friends will somehow help him realize his goal. Fuhai himself believes that he doesn't necessarily have to make the world better right away, especially while he is young, as he does not know that he will have a reason to live when his goal of making the world better is met.

Fears: Fuhai tends to be a rather laid-back and calm type of person, and so one might assume that Fuhai has few, if any, fears in this world. In fact, Fuhai is most afraid of being completely alone, of having no friends. Even his fear of death has a seed of loneliness; he is not afraid of the pain of death or what lies beyond, but of dying with nobody there to hear his dying words, of dying alone. That is not to say that Fuhai is afraid of being somewhere on his own; merely that he is afraid of having no friends in the world and leaving behind no memory of himself.

History: Fuhai was born to one of the Anzutake clan's side branch families, though the Anzutake clan does not often look down upon such branches of the clan. He, like most of the clan, was born with their kekkei genkai, and was forced to wear their dreaded protective mask when spores began to come from his mouth and nose. Even from a young age, Fuhai was rambunctious, and tended to do his best to escape his clan compound to the outside world, preferring to live in it rather than be cooped up in a protective cage and be shown the world through glass. Other children, who did not often see Anzutake outside the clan compound, often made fun of Fuhai for his protective mask, sometimes bringing the young child to tears. This drove him to later redevelop his spores, making them non-toxic to humans and allowing him to leave home without his mask. Through extensive tinkering with his own body, however, a near-fatal accident caused an aggressive response between the new and the old strains of fungus, leaving him permanently blind in one eye due to the backlash of the internal strife.

Fuhai grew up more on his own than with his parents, who considered him a lost cause almost immediately after his fungus lost the toxic capability. For this reason, Fuhai has grown up with deep abandonment issues, causing an overly (for the clan, at least) outroverted demeanor, and a loathing of most deep introverts. The boy never did believe that the outside world was evil and wicked, and so never "bought" his parents' or grandparents' philosophy, pushing him even further from the clan he was already ostracized from.

Despite his lack of trust for his family and most of his clan, he realized that only by becoming a well-trained and powerful shinobi would he earn their respect and love that he desperately felt he needed, and so he turned towards the Ninja Academy. Despite having few combat applications for non-toxic mushrooms, Fuhai persevered with hard-headed stubbornness to get himself through the Academy at the much later age of fifteen. His own graduation was heavily overshadowed by a member of the main house family of the same clan finishing the Academy at the young age of twelve. At this point, Fuhai gave up on earning the respect and love from his family, and instead turned to the rest of the world, hoping to earn the respect and love of the rest of the world before seeing what the rest of the clan thought of him; if the clan though the world was the enemy, then the enemy of Fuhai's enemy was indeed his friend.

RP Sample: Fuhai Anzutake groans as he stands up from the squatting position he'd taken in a high branch of the tree he'd been resting in, making him a small, less noticable silhouette in the half-light of the forest. In truth, the little light that filtered down through the leaves in the higher branches betrayed that it was near the middle of the day, when it would be hottest, but the filtered light made the lower canopies much darker. Even so, Fuhai's shock of red hair would have given him away, if it were not for the shockingly red shelf fungi growing near his head. As it was, the genin's hair matched the color of the parasitic fungi, and his deep green jacket was dark and green enough to be confused for a dark patch of leaves.

The young man had only stood up because his two targets were now below his branch of the tree, and had relaxed at their campsite long enough that it appeared that they had let their guard down, for once. These solo sneaking missions tended to be long and utterly boring for the most part, but now was the time for Fuhai's favorite bit of any mission. He took a single step over the edge of the branch. The two bandits below were too focused on not burning their catch in the cooking fire; rats, not particularly big, but also unaffected by the plague that had ruined the rest of the world for countless years. Fuhai had smelt the cooking flesh from high above, and now he made his way down one branch at a time, stopping at a much lower branch, almost right above one of the bandits' heads. The genin cupped his mouth and blew, directing the microscopic spores of his quick-growing mushrooms down onto the head of the other bandit. There, the mushroom grew quickly, feasting on the keratin and the chakra that gathered at the scalp.

Fuhai smiled. Part one of his plan was done. Part two would depend on how the bandit reacted to his comrade suddenly growing mushrooms off the top of his head.
