General Description: Spook, having visited another dimension, dresses in an "Urban" style; dark green hoodies, baggy cargo pants, sneakers.The Black-Hand symbol, a palm in black and white, can clearly be seen emblazoned on the back of his hoodie. Spook wears various gas masks over his face, leaving his true identity a complete mystery. He has a satchel/pack tied to the small of his back to hold items/inventory. Spook wore weights around his ankles and wrists to increase his strength at the cost of reducing his speed.


Personality
The personality of Spook... hard to pin down. It was as mysterious as the mood he was in since he never showed his face, which was always covered with a mask that only revealed his green eyes, rumored to glow an eerie green color at certain times, mostly when angered. Sometimes he's sarcastic and joking, other times dead silent. Whatever mood he's in though, he seemed much older and smarter than he should have been. Hard to tell because of his hidden features, for the most part Spook tried maintaining a calm, level headed attitude, but he was quick to anger at a moment's notice. At times appearing lazy and unmotivated, when his mind is set to something Spook with go to great lengths to see whatever the situation is through to the end, even if his life is in danger. Spook didn't aim to be better or stronger than anyone, nor was he the type to get jealous of his peers. He didn't much consider himself a hero, but he wouldn't hesitate to help one of his fellow nin or someone less fortunate. Spook seemed to take the deaths of his parents in stride. Most of the time he preferred to work alone, but was known to work well with others if the need arose.

Likes
Above all else, Spook liked to get stronger. He would train himself daily to the point of exhaustion, and would amplify this training with the use of weights. Spook knew how to use several weapons, such as swords and Nunchaku, but his main calling was Taijutsu. Spook could be considered already twice as strong as he should have been, but he aimed to become stronger. Spook follows a strict code imposed on him by his father, a  "My Rules" philosophy, which involves setting tougher goals for failure so something good comes of it. For example, if he couldn't run from one end of the village to the next in 1 minute, he often punishes himself with 500 push-ups or 1000 laps around the village. Since it seemed like it was the only thing he liked in the world, showing little interest in anything else, Spook would often become very absorbed in training and put his body through extreme physical situations, sometimes hurting himself if someone didn't stop him. Besides training, which is what he could be seen doing most of the time, Spook liked eating and sleeping in down times. A natural joker as well, in his rare dealings with others he always tried inventing ways to make someone laugh.

Dislikes
Spook didn't like too many things. The same could be said of his dislikes, but if it had to come down to something he truly didn't like, it was catching people trying to sneak peeks beneath his mask. He also had a certain dislike of bullies; people who picked on those weaker than them. Spook didn't like smack talkers or arrogant people who looked down at others for not living up to a certain expectation. He didn't like the fact that he didn't have a normal family like other ninjas his age, thus could be the explanation for absorbing himself in training. Spook didn't like liver or Brussels sprouts.

Motivation
What motivated Spook was to become the strongest physical fighter of his generation, and to live up to his parent's names. The very idea of getting stronger was what pulled Spook out of bed every day. Spook's aim wasn't to become a superstar, but at the very least silence his doubters. Spook had the mindset that he got stronger everyday and at the end of the day he was stronger than he was yesterday. The thought of having to travel places he'd never been often excited him as well. Spook knew he'd one day have to face powerful foes and was probably another reason for such a rigorous training regimen.

Fears
Spook didn't appear to be afraid of anything or anyone, often reckless and sometimes pushing himself too far. If he actually was scared or had a fear of anything, it would probably be of failing to live up to his parent's names, or by dying to the same enemies that killed them. When he was younger Spook displayed a certain uneasiness when it came to bats, spiders, centipedes and other insects, but since maturing into his teens this uneasiness is no longer visible, perhaps because of his mask. Spook was also known to become rattled in doctor's offices and needles in particular.



History
Spook... the name was all his parent's left him with before going on their final mission that was a success, but at the cost of their lives. An accident in childbirth left his face with a disfigurement, so as long as he's been alive he's had something covering his face, bandages or mask, and his true identity is something he fiercely keeps to himself. Rumor has it that besides his parents and the doctors who delivered him, no one has actually ever seen his face. It didn't seem like Spook minded having to hide his face all the time, and one would never know under normal circumstances. But it didn't come without it's share of teasing and torment. Labeled "Freak" and "Outcast" but some of his peers, Spook spent alot of his time growing up alone, training himself to be stronger. He became very absorbed in the process and often pushes his body too far, often to the point of risking severe physical injury. Although Spook was capable of manipulating chakra and using certain jutsu, and had developed skill sets for certain weapons such as swords and nunchaku, his main love had to be for the art of Taijutsu.

Spook never knew what it was like to have a family, but it didn't seem to bother him. Because he kept his face covered constantly, this led to conflicts with other kids. Alot of them would attempt to de-mask him, which irritated him to no end and caused many fights. Perhaps this is one of the reasons Spook decided to push himself so hard in training. Spook had more rivals than friends all the while he was in school and the academy, but he outwardly didn't seem to care, and developed a sarcastic personality while growing up.

When Spook turned 15 he was given a package that contained alot of his father's things. He learned that his parents were both renown ninja and were famous for defeating and capturing many powerful criminals. Spook equipped himself with several parts of his father's ninja uniform and learned the "My Rules" philosophy, which involves setting tough self-imposed penalties for failure in the belief that the punishment will make him stronger. Spook began to wear weights around his ankles and wrists and took on a training regimen that drastically increased his strength at the cost of severely reducing his speed. But even while weighted Spook would still be considered considerably fast, and it was believed that his speed would increase exponentially upon removal of said weights.

At 16, Spook began to sneak out of the village some nights, often visiting lairs and dens occupied by bandits and thugs that raided and preyed on nearby villages. Spook began to test himself against these sometimes dangerous criminals, and small rumors of a "masked vigilante" began to spread among some underground circuits. Not one to get cocky or ahead of himself, Spook went into any situation cool headed and learned from his mistakes, 8 times out of 10 coming out of a violent situation victorious, but also being careful to pick his fights and knowing his limits, often avoiding confrontations with foes that seemed too powerful.

Now 17, Spook learned not long ago of the final mission his parents were sent on, and gave himself the secret mission of finding those responsible and destroying them one day. Spook wasn't one to rush, and decided to bide his time and learn as much as he could before the eventual confrontation. Spook spoke nothing of this to anyone, though there weren't too many that he associated with in the first place. Spook felt that this would change soon...
