General Description: Gemma is a very rare case in the fact that she has two seperate forms. One form is her natural form, that of the dragon sealed within her mother. Due to still being a child she is rather small compared to adult dragons, standing only about a foot tall and about a foot and a half long. Her over-all weight in this form is roughly twenty or so pounds. Her entire body is covered in scales which are such a light blue in color that they appear almost white; with matching wings coming out up by her shoulders. Her eyes in this form are slit like, and yellow in olor.
In Gemma's human form she stands about three and a half feet tall and weights fourty-five pounds. Her hair in this form is purple and goes about halfway down her back; framing her dark tan colored face and lightning blue colored eyes. Her outfits in this form tend to be on the more warmer side; with lots of layers and a lot of colors, the brighter the better.



Personality: Gemma is a very secretive child, though she has good right to be. While she prefers her Dragon form, finding it to be the most natural and most comfortable of the two, she often can be found using her Human form so that she can more easily blend in. While having not been subjected to any sort of picking, name calling, or otherwise bullying done by children, she is more than aware that it could happen should someone find out what she truly is - and, from books she had read, she knew that much more than that could happen if the wrong person happened to find out about her odd traits.
Outside of her secretive nature is a very loving and happy child. Gemma is not harsh or harsh spoken, and unlike most children is in fact quite calm and quiet. When speaking she is very soft spoken and calm, and when around anyone, especially those older than her, she is a very respective child.
She also comes off as quite shy and almost fearful; she avoids new people, and is often known to hide behind her mother or anyone else around that she knows when anyone knew approaches, at least until she's comfortable with them.
However, on the flip side of all of this is the knowledge loving, very determined little girl: she loves to train and loves to learn, never willing to say no to a bit of knowledge no matter how small that might be.
Likes: Ah yes, the lovely likes. Well, when it comes to Gemma almost everything is an instant like. If it's adorable, little, sparkling, shiny, or sweet, then she automatically likes it. Candy and jerky sit high on her list of likes, as so all sorts of bright colors: pinks, blues, greens, yellows. Her favorite candy would have to be anything hard; watermelon, green apple, blue raspberry just to name a few of her absolute favorites: though she will never turn candy down no matter what flavor it is.
On her more serious side of likes Gemma loves to train and to learn: never a child to turn away from either. She has, on more than one occasion, been known to spend entire days despite her young age in libraries just combing through all of the books of knowledge that she can get her hands on. She has also been known to practice and train something until she is positive she has it right.
Dislikes: Dislikes... there isn't much that Gemma honestly dislikes. She's willing to try anything once, whether that be medicine, food, some sort of hobby, or anything really. She's accepting of a lot of people, knowing that everyone is in some way different - she herself is far different than any human most people have ever seen, or that likely existed for a very long period of time.
However, there are things that certain people do that bother her, greatly. Bullying is among the most major dislike Gemma could possibly consider as such: any sort of abuse of power without proper reason other than for some sort of sick amusement or ability to feel above or better than someone else. 
Motivations: What motivates a child? Money has never been, and likely never will be, any sort of motivation in the child's life. While she knows the value of a dollar and not to take things for granted she has never wanted for anything and never will - or so her mother has informed her.
Perhaps then, it would have to be the inner thirst for knowledge that motivates the young child. That inner thirst that drives her to spend hours training something, that grants her the focus to do so, until she has got it right and as perfect as she possible can. That inner thirst that causes her to pick up books, even if they're as thick as her head, and attempt to read them from front and back, stopping only when she needs to eat or sleep.
Fears: Ah yes, what does a child fear? The monster under the bed? The thing that goes bump in the night? The fear of letting fingers or toes hang down over the side of the bed so that the dark creature that is really a sweater can grab her? No, these are no sort of fears for Gemma. She herself is considered a monster to some; a dragon by rights who can roar and shock anything that scares her.
Though, there is one thing that does scare her: the idea of somehow losing her mother. Even if it's something as small as losing her in the busy market it causes a shiver to run up her spine and tears to begin to spill into her eyes...

History: Gemma is a very special child: though not like many others considered such. Her birth was a mystery, the whole occurance of it nothing more than a bunch of guess work and assumptions. Her mother, Amara Hyuuga Tsukino had had a dragon sealed inside of her a very young age: a Thunder Dragon named Inazuma. The pair had bonded the moment of Inazuma's birth which Amara had witnessed, and after Inazuma had become far too large for the village in which her mother lived in he was sealed inside of her by Gemma's grandfather.
Right before Amara found out she was pregnant there had been a bad lightning storm in which she was caught in; in the midst of shifting from Inazuma's form back to her own natural form she had been struck by lightning: something that, while dangerous and deadly to most, had barely bothered her.
However, it was shortly after this that Amara realized she was pregnant with Gemma. Only a short few months later, while her mother was off in a mission, Gemma was born. The birth was strange to say the least given that Gemma was born not as a human but as a dragon. It quickly became apparent, especially as Gemma began to quickly mature and grow, that she not only had the one form but two: that of a dragon and that of a human being. It also became quickly apparent that while her mother was a Hyuuga by birth and Tsukino by adoption, Gemma shared almost none of her mother's Hyuuga traits: and shared the majority of Inazuma's traits and abilities.
As Gemma matured older her mother, while still off on a mission now with her to take care of, began to test her in small things, working on a list she had made when she realized that the child she gave birth of seemed part dragon. While Gemma's affinity towards Raiton was an automatic given it quickly became apparent that she was capable of using Fuuton to some degree as well. Later tests proved that the child was also very adapt at using Fuuinjutsu, and through watching Gemma play fight with several kids in the village they had been momentarily in, she realized that her child had a way with a sword that Amara only saw rarely.
The mission ended, and after a brief stop in which Gemma got to meet one of her family's friends, they headed home... home to Kumogakure. As Gemma traveled she found herself wondering on more than one occasion how the rest of her family would take to her sudden and, as far as she had guessed, unknown arrival. She also found herself wondering what sort of little adventures she would be able to get herself into, as the small ones that her mother and her had gone on had been filled with lessons and learning and fun.

RP Sample: "Remember, Gemma, practice makes perfect.", her mothers words sounded over and over again in her head as she got up off of her butt. She had been swinging around the wooden play sword her mother had given her when she had lost her balance - it didn't happen often, but when it did she always ended up on her butt.
She took a deep breath, attempting to focus back on her task again. She held the sword out straight in front of her, feeling the pull on the muscles in her arms. After waiting a second or two for her body to become comfortable with the position she than began to spin clockwise once more. The first few spins went by fine, and so she began to gain speed.
Again and again she spun until the dizziness kicked and and once more she lost her balance, hitting the ground butt first with an "oomph" of a sound.
