Description: This is essentially an advanced jutsu that can be used to move at virtually instantaneous speed, granting the user an advantage over opponents with more strength than speed, such as users of Chakra Enhanced Strength. This nature therefore renders the user invulnerable against most Taijutsu. This jutsu boosts movement speed to SS rank, and attack speed to S rank.
The user can spend 40 chakra to start the jutsu and pay 35 chakra for each post of duration, however when the jutsu ends this will cause the user to be stunned for 1 post with a reduction of 1 rank of all stats for 3 posts.
If the user spends 70 chakra to start this jutsu and pays 35 chakra for each post of duration than they are capable of ending the jutsu without the reduction in stats or the stun effect.
This jutsu cannot be learned except by a teacher, and only once the student has reached at least A rank. |

| - The 8 Gates:
The Eight Gates are eight specific points along the chakra circulatory system that limit the overall flow of chakra within a ninja's body. Although the gates make the ninja weaker in battle, they limit the body's functions to keep it from expiring too soon. Ninja that have learned to open these gates can surpass their own physical limits at the cost of various levels of damage to their own bodies. Each additional gate grants the user new levels of strength with additional injuries; by opening all eight gates the user will become nearly unbeatable in battle, but their body will be so damaged in the process that they will die afterwards.

Unfortunately, the side effects of opening the gate are that the user's muscle fibres are ripped to shreds, causing intense pain if anything or anyone touches them. Opening this gate allows the user to perform the Daytime Tiger. For 5 posts the user gains a x1 in speed, with the drawback of a 10 post cooldown. Opening gate 7 gives a final +1 to Taijutsu for a total of +3 overall.

Description: Called "The 8 gates released formation," releasing this gate uses up all of the body's energy. It makes the heart pump at maximum power and exceeds the power of every other gate. Opening this gate gives the user power that is even beyond Kage, but comes at the expense of the user's life shortly after. For 5 posts the user gains a maximum increase in speed, with the drawback of death.
These effects will last until either the user opens another gate (in which the count is reset), or allows them to close. When the gates close, they all close at once.
Should the first gate be allowed to close, the user can open Gate 2 to re-energize. This is the only gate that can be opened in this fashion.
Gates 5 - 8 can only be used once per topic.
No specialties besides Taijutsu can be used while under the effects of gates past 2.

Name: Front Lotus (表蓮華 Omote Renge) Canon/Custom: Canon Rank: B Type: Offensive Element: - Range: Close Specialty: Taijutsu, 8 gates Duration: 1 post Cooldown: Once Per Thread Description: The Front Lotus requires the opening of the first of the Eight Chakra Gates, giving the user five times their normal strength. The user kicks their opponent into the air and then uses Shadow of the Dancing Leaf. Once behind their opponent, the user restrains them and pile-drives them into the ground head first while rotating at a ferocious speed. Due to the use of one of the Eight Gates, the user is left extremely fatigued, making this technique a "double-edged sword". It may also be used on multiple people at once. While not able to outright kill an opponent, a successful Front Lotus can cause injuries that can lead to permanent damage and neck/brain injuries that sometimes lead up to death, if medical attention is not applied after being a victim of this technique. Description: This technique is an advanced and more destructive version of the Front Lotus, which requires that at least three chakra gates be opened. Once enough gates are opened, the user kicks the target into the air and continues to strike them at inhuman speeds before hitting them with a final, powerful open-handed strike and kick at the same time, sending the target crashing into the ground which is usually fatal due to the speed and power behind the attack.
Because so many chakra gates are opened at once, this technique can only be used once, since the user will likely be unable to stand afterwards.
A victim will die within 3 posts if no medical attention is applied.

Description: The Morning Peacock is a certain-kill taijutsu. The principle of this taijutsu is to rapidly increase the body's abilities by opening up to and including the sixth of the Eight Gates, and then to strike the enemy down with countless punches. The technique is started by kicking the enemy into the air, which for most would be an instant kill. The user then jumps into the air in a distinctive stance and begins punching the enemy repeatedly. The speed of the punches is so fast that they are set ablaze by sheer speed and friction. This creates a peacock-like fan of flaming chakra around the opponent. Once the attack is finished, the enemy will be sent crashing back to the ground, covered with the attack's aura. The technique is also strong enough to briefly stun a tailed beast.
A victim will suffer severe 3rd degree burns. Death is assured should no medical techniques be applied within 3 posts.

Description: The Daytime Tiger, contrary to its appearance, is purely taijutsu in nature and is nothing more than an incredibly fast punch. After opening the seventh of the Eight Gates, the user places a palm facing forward in front of their face with one hand and then taps it with his other hand, formed into a fist, which creates a massive amount of air pressure. Next, the user forms a unique hand seal resembling a tiger, which launches the air pressure at the opponent in the shape of a tiger, by leaving a gigantic tiger-shaped impression into the initially built-up air pressure with the hand seal. The air pressure will condense as it's moving and be focused into a single point. The technique then explodes on command, releasing the built up air pressure in an instant. A massive concussive explosion is created which can be felt a significant distance away.
A victim of this technique hit head on will die within 2 posts, should no S-Rank medical techniques be applied.

Description: The perfection of decades of dedicated training, Air Skating is the realization of one man's dream: to soar through the skies above the forests of his home. Requiring both QuickStep and VoidStep to be perfected before even attempting to learn this jutsu, Air Skating requires an exacting degree of chakra control very few ninja are able to achieve. The premise is simple, taking the idea of a cushion of air below the users feet used in QuickStep; you must solidify the cushion to such a degree that it acts as a proper platform without breaking. Then incorporating a controlled version of the speed boost that is VoidStep, you maintain a consistent amount of forward momentum that allows for the user to stay aloft without constantly needing to leap or touch any solid object. By moving in a manner similar to skating on water or ice, the user is able to reach unbelievable speeds while in mid-air; with terminal velocity determined only by the resistances of the air around them. In order to reduce this resistance, the user wraps themselves in a shell of Fuuton chakra; while this won't completely reduce friction and counter drag, it does allow for a maximum speed of roughly 200mph. Air Skating cannot be stacked with other speed boosting or movement enhancing abilities. Any passive boosts are canceled out for the duration of the jutsu. |

| Name: Lightning Release Armour (雷遁の鎧 Raiton no Yoroi) Canon/Custom: Canon Rank: S Type: Defensive, Supplementary Element: Raiton Range: Self Specialty: Taijutsu Duration: Until cancelled Cooldown: 3 Posts Description: This armour, combined with taijutsu, allows the user to utilise nintaijutsu. The user wraps their body in a layer of lightning chakra that, instead of being used offensively, is used to electrically stimulate the user's nervous system. The technique speeds up neural synapses to react faster, and to push physical prowess to the absolute limit, allowing for tremendous raw speed. (This jutsu boosts the max movement speed of the user by 60 MPH, it cannot however be stacked with other speed based jutsu, and will cancel out any speed based jutsu already in effect.) When using the armour at full power, it causes the tips of the user's hair to spike up and their reflexes are said to be comparable to those of Konoha's Yellow Flash, making it difficult even for the Sharingan to keep up with them. The armour also increases the user's defenses, drastically reducing - if not completely negating - damage from incoming attacks A-Rank and lower. Lightning Release Armor does absolutley nothing to guard against attacks composed of Wind. A strong enough Wind technique is said to be able to knock a user out of the Armour after a direct hit. Lightning Release Armour costs 30 Chakra to activate and 10 to maintain each turn afterwards.  |

Specialty: Taijutsu Duration: 2 posts Cooldown: Can only be used once per thread Description: A forbidden Taijutsu technique. The user must first prepare the muscles in their entire body, (Post 1) but in the process they cannot move or make any other actions, leaving them vulnerable. If attacked while preparing the muscles, the user will be knocked out of the preparatory state and must start again. The actual attack (Post 2) sends the user sliding in close range to their opponent, delivering rapid blows equivalent to upwards of 15 A Ranked attacks at point blank range in a very short instant, potentially killing them (If no S-Ranked medical techniques are applied within 3 posts). After execution, the user cannot move for 2 posts.  |
