General Description: Arashi is generally a bit shorter and quite a bit lighter than other people tend to be at his age, but it's mostly caused by him not really hitting puberty yet, and having an unusually fast metabolism. His dark messy hair is just long enough to completely cover his ears, and still fall a bit lower. He is slim, even skinny in appearance, much like many in his clan. He usually wears comfortable, grey or black colored clothes, with his headband tied at the spot a belt would be, slightly leaning on one side. His right arm is bandaged from the elbow-below, but this is mostly for aesthetic purposes; he doesn't rely on hand-to-hand combat.


Personality: Arashi hasn't yet developed all that much of a personality, but in general he's the calm one: often staying quiet and listening to what other people have to say first. He's maybe slightly above average in intelligence, but not enough for it to really show. He has spent most of his childhood alone or with his family, and so he never actually developed any social skills; he wasn't all that popular in the Academy either, not actually making a single true friend; so to this day, he's a very poor conversationalist. This is a vicious circle; no friends to socialize with, but can't make any new friends without knowing how to socialize properly. Maybe now, when he's finally graduated, he'll make some friends with his new teammates?

Regarding his working habits, Arashi could easily be classified as lazy. There's rarely anything he'd rather do than simply lie down, and take a good ol' nap! Unlike most lazy people though, Arashi can actually control himself arguably well: sure, he'll procrastinate as much as possible, but he'll always do the work early enough for him to be able to once more do nothing for a long time. Surprisingly, isn't quite true regarding training; Arashi is quite eager to get stronger as quickly as possible, in order to become a greater shinobi than his father!

Likes: Well, to begin with, he likes no sleep. He looves to sleep. The fact that he's always had very clear memories of his dreams only add on to the liking. Each time he falls asleep, it's like he enters a whole new world, a different adventure to surprise and amuse him every single night! This caused him to sleep quite a bit more than what is considered usual, but it's hard to resist the urge to find out what the next dream will be about, so even after waking up naturally he usually just slips back to the dreamworld. He also loves fluffy blankets and cold pillows. On the other hand, there aren't many things he likes that aren't in some way related to sleep. He likes hot chocolate, sweets and fruits; he likes fruits to the extent where he'll be carrying an apple, pear or an orange pretty much at all times in his pockets. He also likes salmon and the azure blue color; it always reminds him of his clan.

Dislikes: Arashi dislikes coffee. Not only does it prevent people from sleeping, the most peaceful state of relaxation a person can get, but it also tasted like rat shit mixed with his fat uncle's explosive diarrhea. And it makes you addicted. Like seriously, why would anyone drink something like that? Makes no sense, at least to him. He also dislikes arrogant and "cool" people. Who are they to be treated better than everyone else? They treat everyone else like crap and still manage to have so many friends and girls. Sometimes he'd just like to punch them in the face. Other things he doesn't like include dogs and the general society system, but he isn't old enough to completely understand it anyways.

Motivations: There isn't all that much that actually motivates Arashi, apart from the challange to become a stronger shinobi than his father. The belief that a shinobi shouldn't be considered an actual shinobi until he surpasses his father has been embedded strong in the Kudokara clan, and it is a challenge every young member strives to complete. This makes them train harded and with more dedication; and also challenges each generation to surpass the one before them. The final test is basically a son's challenge to his own father, a real fight between the two. Only if the son emerges victorious will he be allowed to marry and live in the clan grounds. It is also not rare for the father to die in the showdown with his own son, but in the clan this is treated as the highest honour; it has come as far as that young boys are being trained to kill their fathers from the moment they start attending the academy. Luckily, Arashi's family isn't all that extreme; but he's still motivated to become a better shinobi than his father was.

Fears: Arashi has had the luck to never experience true fear... So far. There aren't many things he's afraid at the moment, but the most notable one would definitely be if all the precious, glorious cocoa wasn't able to make it to Niwa for any random reason; bandits, a war, high taxes. A day when Niwa ran out of cocoa completely was definitely his biggest fear. The others would include night terrors; having great dream recall doesn't always have to be a good thing. Bad dreams are a lot more vivid, and stay in his head for a much longer time. Once he was too afraid to open his closet for almost two months after he dreamed a spooky ghost jumping out and killing him when he opened the closet. Oh, and he's also kind of-sort of afraid of death, but that's not really a priority right now. He's never experienced death and it the sadness it brings is pretty much foreign to him.

History: Arashi was born in the Senju memorial hospital, as it tends to be the case with most newborns in Niwa. Blue eyes and black hair, he seemed to be a pure-blood Kudokara; just as both of his parents were. He was raised in the peaceful surroundings of the Kudokara clan in Niwa, being an only child. There wasn't a single kid of his age in the entire clan, and as a kid he was never allowed to leave the clan grounds. This led to him spending most of his time as a youngster playing with toys at home, taking walks with his mom or simply playing and running around in the garden. Not so long after, he discovered his passion; sleeping, or more accurately, dreaming.

Both of his parents were shinobi, though his mother more or less retired after they found out she got pregnant. Arashi's father still took new missions, and lived much like Arashi wasn't even born. They'd talk every now and then, laugh a little or play together, but for the most part of Arashi's childhood, his father simply wasn't there. This led to him spending much more time with his mother, who taught him how to read and write at a pretty young age. Arashi was quite a curious child, and kept bombarding his mother with questions about pretty much anything and everything, but soon even his mother got quite annoyed and stopped answering many of his questions; he was left to play with himself in his room. He drew various pictures, played with his toys and slept a lot, only ever leaving his room to eat or talk with his parents.

Months passed, and the Academy class begun. It was incredibly strange for him to actually see children of his age... And in numbers that large? He was completely lost in this see of different people, and actually got in an argument the very first day of class. He sat on "another kid's spot", so the kid started arguing. Arashi apologized, but the kid was to become his biggest rival for the next several years. Years went be, Arashi grew and was actually forced to start training. His grades in the Academy were good, but nothing all that above average. He was quite smart, but if he ever raised his hand and knew the answer to a question some other kids didn't, he'd instantly be called a nerd and a know-it-all and mocked by the entire class. He didn't have any friends to stand on his side, and the teacher was a pretty big wuss; no one actually listened to her. So just like that, more time went by: he went to the Academy, he studied, he passed his exams, he trained. Nothing special. And soon, the day of graduation came.

By now his father had already trained him to unlock the Naringan, and tought him several basic Ninjutsu techniques most Kudokara members used. He was now a young person, ready to go and experience the wonders and discover the secrets of the Shinobi world!

"'Rashi, lunch is ready!" The sweet voice echoed trough the corridor, just enough to completely wake Arashi up. He'd been sort of awake for almost half an hour now, but he was simply so warm and confty getting out of bed wasn't even an option he considered. He sprawled across the bed, loudly yawning. Oh wait... Lunch already? Shit, how's it so late already? This happened quite often; waking up fairly early, and just closing eyes for five more minutes... It feels like five minutes at least; but in reality hours pass! He rushed out of bed, put on his pants and sandals, and was basically ready for the day! A couple of strokes trough his hair with a comb, and that was it; the daily routine. He usually brushes his teeth, but eh, what the heck; doesn't really make sense to do it both before and after lunch, eh? He yawned slowly once more, making his way to the kitchen; he could smell the rice with tomato-beef sauce, his dad's favorite. I sure am hungry..
