Alec had a conversation with Kinzoku and the many dozens of Ops throughout the village. He, along with Jr, gathered them all at the front gates, which were now closed and locked after the events of the Summit in Niwa. Security of the village was high priority, and everyone had the job of keeping invaders out. All of the Ops were given spots to watch upon the walls that surrounded the village, and Kinzoku had the job of keeping them all in line. With his Sensory, nose, and Tracking skills, Alec didn't have to much worry about having to rely totally on Dez to keep an eye on things.

Then, he and Jr would be over the gate and off into the darkness, headed towards the first terrorist act they'd committed in years, and the official announcement to the world that the criminal empire known as The Dark was back. Alec wasn't taking much with him. The Symbiote, which was disguised as his cloak. The Kane Katana, the Blind Fury Stick, and all of his items within his black bag.

He quickly ran north through the dark wilds of Makkura until the eternal night began to break, and it suddenly began to become cold. A fine white powder began drifting in from above, and the ground became covered in the white substance. Cold didn't really bother Alec much, and didn't really hinder his movement or his speed. Not to ention the fact that he had Jr with him, who was a living source of heat. He'd been here once before, when it was under Mitsukai's control, and she allowed him the use of a blacksmith's station to devise the Kane Katana, so he knew exactly where he was going.

The village of Korigakure came into view soon, and Alec jumped up atop one of the structures of the outskirts for a view of the place...

His father told everyone what was up, to watch all ways in and out of the village, to be on their guard. Jr made sure to thank Kinzoku for the intel and for having his back, giving him a high five. He honestly looked surprised and overwhelmed, leaving Jr to figure Kinzoku didn't have much in the way of friends or family, or anyone that actually complimented and thanked him. Jr told him he knew the feeling. When his father was away all of those years when he was younger fighting in wars, he'd had it the very same way.

It was pretty easy to keep up with his father due to Hi No Seishin, but without her Jr knew he'd probably get left in the dust. He ran with him all the way through the shadows and plains, until it started snowing. Of course, Jr didn't feel it at all. He was wearing his black hooded cloak again and had all of his usual items and gear.

When Korigakure came into view, Jr jumped up atop the same structure with his father, landing in a crouch next to him to have a look. He'd never been this far north before....
