Mission:

Kurai and his family had only been here all of about a day, and already he'd completed 3 jobs and had earned the gratitude and smiles of those in the marketplace, even though his expression remained blank most of the time, and he hadn't really said a word to anyone. These people seemed understanding enough, but Kurai knew he hadn't really encountered any of the younger generation yet. The guys who always had something to prove by stepping on those they deemed lower than them, and the loud, irritating chatterbox females. He knew it was coming, sooner or later.

He'd used some of his newfound wealth to buy something to eat from a mobile restaurant that fixed your food right in front of you. The dish of flavored meatballs, some having bacon and lettuce wrapped around them, with toothpicks through the middle was pretty good. Kurai still had one of these toothpicks at the side of his mouth when he felt the running and heard the yelling. He looked to see the wife of the store owner that he'd babysat for last night yelling for someone to stop a thief. A young, dark dressed individual was hurriedly attempting to make an escape, barging through people and making some of them fall over, crash into things and make various messes.

Kurai reached down and picked up the rock that the mobile restaurant owner was using to keep his food cart in place. It was a simple task to increase the weight of the rock, not too much, but what he figured to be just enough. Casually tossing the rock upwards, Kurai performed a revolution and roundhouse kicked the rock, sending it speeding toward the fleeing thief. It smashed into his back and shattered into dozens of pieces, causing the thief to fall forward and crash.

“Wow, amazing! You're quite talented, young man,” said the mobile restaurant owner, and Kurai just shrugged. The thief wasn't going to just get up and keep running after an impact like that, so Kurai casually walked over to him.

“So who are you supposed to be... some sort of hero?!... Owwwh...” said the thief, lying there for a second. Kurai didn't respond, instead simply stood over the boy with his blank expression. The thief jumped up and took a fighting stance. Kurai just blinked before slowly taking his. The thief threw a kick at Kurai that he didn't attempt to block or avoid. The kick slammed into Kurai's left arm, but it appeared that the thief was more hurt than Kurai was. He tried punching Kurai in the face, but Kurai head butted his fist, producing a loud popping sound and a yelp from the thief.

Kurai didn't really want to make a scene. When the thief attempted to kick him again, Kurai spun in the opposite direction to perform his Gale Kick, knocking the youth completely off of his feet to land on the side of his head. He lie there in a daze. People began to clap and applaud as the shop owner and his wife caught up to the scene. Kurai searched the thief and retrieved a stolen package, handing it to the shop owner.

“You helped us again! Such a talented young man and so helpful. I wish my lazy good for nothing son had been more like you! Thanks again!” he said, sharing some of the stolen Ryo with him. Kurai gave his simple nod, noticing village security arriving to take the thief into custody. With another job in the books, Kurai moved off...
