The merchant chuckled at Kurai's refusal but didn't press the issue. He simply handed the other bag to Hikari with a nod. "Take that, and do some good in the world with it, eh? Buy all the medical supplies you need... we need a proper hospital or some sort of clinic or doctors office, maybe you can help out with that." The merchant then looked off in the direction that the thugs had run off in and just simply shook his head. "I should head back to my cart and make sure the rest of my family is alright; thank you again. I want to say I hope I don't see those thugs again, but I'm sure they'll come back when they're done licking their wounds." With that said the merchant gave a wave and left the backyard, heading back to his shop and to check to make sure his family was alright.

Hikari meanwhile was speechless as she stared at the two large bags of ryo in her hand: she had never dreamed of having so much money but she wasn't about to allow it to go to her head. She would do exactly as the merchant had suggested and get a proper medical center up and running: she would even help teach anyone interested in helping out in it. As if reading her mind mother Yanagi wandered over and gave her a light squeeze of a hug. "I can already see those wheels in your head turning HIkari; but just know that I'm willing to come help if you need it. You might have to teach me some of that fancy stuff you know how to do, but I can be of some assistance... you don't have to do this alone."

Hikari nodded and returned her mother's hug: Hikari would easily be able to handle the more serious things that would likely end up in the hospital or whatever she decided to create; but things such as those who were simply ill or with minor ailments her mother would be able to help with too which would take the load off of her own shoulders and allow Hikari to still help around the village with missions and other things that needed done. She looked to Kurai after a moment, wondering what he planned on doing next: she was sure whatever it was was going to be big.

The old man just laughed some. Kurai thought there was going to be some sort of flak behind him not taking all of that free cash that he didn't want, but instead he just handed it over to Hikari. She was more deserving of it, anyway. After all, he was still standing and alive right now because of her. "Take that, and do some good in the world with it, eh? Something similar to the Holeman Clinic back in Yokuchi, here in Hinowa... it sounded like a good idea. Kurai felt he'd have to hang around a place like that, for these thugs would probably be stupid enough to go and try extorting Hikari, even if she were the only one here with proper medical training.

The old man waved before he left, and Kurai nodded his head in return. His mother came over and hugged Hikari while saying "I can already see those wheels in your head turning HIkari; but just know that I'm willing to come help if you need it. You might have to teach me some of that fancy stuff you know how to do, but I can be of some assistance... you don't have to do this alone." Father Yanagi came down and gave a pat to Kurai's shoulders. “Impressive moves the two of you have developed, and very explosive too... You've sure come a long way, farther than I could have ever hoped to achieve, and I still feel like there's more for you to learn yet. The thing you did with the glowing eyes, the bigger muscles, and the coat that appears out of nowhere with the word “Gorilla” on the back of it... I can guess that this is what you went to Niwaurushigakure to learn, is it not?” Kurai nodded his head. “Excellent... So the rumors of the Sage Apes in the forests were true, and what you do is your “Sage Mode” then. I won't even pretend I understand it all...”

Kurai felt like he was ready for his showdown. He didn't have to worry about his sister getting dragged in, for she had a task all her own now, the creation of Hinowa's first medical facility. There was something else he had to perfect first, but he could always do that on the way to his confrontation. It would probably be a bad idea to leave them out of the loop, so he felt it best to inform them of his intentions.

”...I need to leave the village again... there is something I have to do.” He wasn't going to go into too much detail, because the second they found out that his 'something to do' involved traveling to Kumo, he knew they'd forbid it, seeing as Kumo housed those with the weakness to the Yanagi.

“Well, after the performance you just put on, who are we really to tell you no? I know you're old enough not to go off somewhere and do something stupid furthermore, so you have my permission. I'd like to ask what it is you're going to do, but knowing you, you'll just give some vague answer to hide the truth... Just, try not to be gone too long. I'd hate to think that Hikari here would have to hold off all of these ruffians alone. You two have easily proven that you're this village's strongest; it needs both of it's protectors.”

Kurai nodded his head. He'd make this as quick as he possibly could. After looking at his family a while, honestly not knowing if he'd return intact, or even alive for that matter, he headed off, leaving the backyard and to the Administration Complex to seek one of the heads, and ask permission to leave the village again.
