General Description: Much like his sister, his body type is very thin, giving off the appearance that he hasn't eaten in a week. While that may be close to the case at times, he is rather healthy for his age and blames his weak appearance on his clan. His skin is almost transparent it is so white, causing people to mistake him as dead when he is sleeping. His violet eyes are wide with awe and a strange joy that creeps most people out. His hair, which is cut short to his chin with his bangs even shorter, is even lighter than his skin. He usually has nicer clothes on, wearing white shirts of various sleeve lengths under a black vest. He may even wear a jacket in the winter months. His pants are black as well, usually topped off with either black boots or shinobi sandals.

About You!

Personality: Insanity is a mild term to describe the mental state of this twelve year old. His mind is too far gone to even be considered stable in any way, which is just fine with him. Most humans fear the unknown or anything they do not understand, but Ushio finds such objects to be fascinating. This interest is shown in his speech, such as saying shocking things just to see how someone would react, and in his physical actions. He is known for randomly scaring strangers in mid-conversation just to see the look of surprise on their face. He also gets to watch his sister aggravate them, which just encourages his insane curiosity.
While he is similar to his twin sister in the fact that he is usually calm and collected, he is much easier to get riled up into anger. If he becomes bored with people in anyway, he will become enraged and blame it on them. This reaction stems from the fact that he hates being bored and always wants a way to stay entertained, even if it means doing something drastic to achieve satisfaction. The other way to get him angry is to put his sister in harm in anyway. She is the only person that he feels emotional attachments too and will kill instantly for her. This anger is dominant, meaning that even if he finds that person intriguing, they will die for insulting Unmei.
He doesn't really have morals or logical feelings towards people. He is known to take lives or grant favors solely on a moments whim. He listens to his sister in some ways, allowing her to make decisions such as what is appropriate or not. He doesn't have to speak out, as long as she is happy, he will find something to bide the time, even if it is "illegal". He doesn't posses any manners to speak of, especially in social settings. He loves being awkward and causing people to become speechless from doing something completely fucked up.
Similar to his sister, he has an artistic streak in him. While she goes more for stories and visual art, he loves music in all forms. He is often found singing some crazy ass song with weird lyrics or humming melodies that would send shivers down another persons back from how dark they sound. He even tries to create completely new styles of music on a daily basis, as the ones that exist currently aren't enough.

Likes: Music in all forms is his first love. He especially enjoys harmonies that don't quite fit together, making distant clashes that would make most people turn away in horror. He listens to every genre, though he ends up getting annoyed with them and making his own music quite quickly.
He also enjoys challenging his brain to try and understand normal people. Whether that be through games, battle or any other means. He will often try and get others to play games with him and his sister, just for the sheer intrigue of it. This translates into a thirst for knowledge of a different kind. His want to completely understand the world around him, but not for any malicious purpose. He just wants to be a smart guy.
Lastly, he loves watching horror movies or reading horror books of any kind. He doesn't understand fear personally, so he gets a kick out of watching people react illogically. Blood and hacking don't bother him either, as he has seen enough of both in his young life to simply become numb to it.

Dislikes: Above all, he despises being bored. He would rather be dead than have no way of having "fun". Because of that, he is always in to something, and will only stop if asked by his sister. This also means that he hates being alone, as it would mean there would be nothing to study. He is rarely away from his sister, as she tends to piss people off.
He also can't stand those who are content. He feels as if there is always a way to improve a situation or person, and being content was just laziness. This causes him to under appreciate everything, save for Unmei. He finds no problem with letting a person know that is ignorant to sit stagnantly in life and refuse to shake things up.
Lastly, if his sister is dissatisfied, he then becomes angry. In some odd way, seeing her angry makes him angry instantly. Whether that be simply frustration or blind rage, he follows suit and will join her in annihilating anything that she targets. She is the one constant that he desires in his life and will fight to the death to make sure that does not change. This is of course a little ironic that everything that he feels towards the world is the exact opposite of what he feels towards her, but that is just his special type of insanity.

Motivations: Because of his unique mind set, he is not motivated from normal things such as money or the will to overcome others. Even he is not quite sure what his motivations are. He simply just wants to have a lot of fun while learning and trying to understand others. His knowledge doesn't even have to include everything. Just anything having to do with humans or what they create. He doesn't care about nature or anything like that.
His only identifiable motivation is the need and want to keep his sister happy and safe. He is extremely loyal to her and will often ask her a question before doing something, just to make sure it's fine with her. The only reason that he trains and becomes more powerful is so that he can protect her, as she is the only person that makes sense to him in the world.

Fears: As a member of the Malkavia clan, there is much that could possibly instill fear into him. He simply doesn't get scare of pain, death, or anything that would normally terrify even the strongest warrior. In fact, there are only two things he fears. The first is being alone. He would not know what to do or how to entertain himself without people to "play" with, and the thought of that makes him uncomfortable.
Of course, the other thing that he fears is loosing his sister. If such a thing were to happen, he would not be able to bear it and would most likely take his own life. There connection is extremely deep and his is of the opinion that the world wasn't worth messing with unless she was there to enjoy it with him. This is loyalty in the most pure form.

History: Ah yes, the Malkavian Twins. Or so that was how their neighbors referred to them since the time Ushio and his younger sister - by all of five minutes - Unmei had been born. Their parents? Nameless to almost anyone referring to them, though they went by Shi (Death) and Itami (Pain).
Shi and Itami were rather eccentric when it came to raising their children: they left them for the majority of the time to do what they liked, and the twins preferred it as such. From the time the pair could walk they were getting into mischief: anything from drowning the neighbors cat in a bucket - something that Ushio had done after the cat had attacked his sister - to sneaking into the neighbors house and putting salt in the sugar bowl and sugar in the salt shakers which Unmei was famous for.
When people came to complain their parents simply laughed; entertained as much as the children were by the mischief being caused.
As the twins grew older they became closer; and it became rather clear rather quickly that the only person Ushio had emotionally bonded to was his twin: even his parents were easily able to be brushed off as if he barely knew them at all.
When the twins entered into the academy they excelled - at least when they wanted to. They became known for going weeks of top notch work, turning homework in on time, to suddenly refusing to do any work at all, or even speak for that matter - though they continued to learn even if they acted as if they weren't. And homework? That was fed to the dog - and by no means was a lie, as they were plenty strays running around who would eat the stuff after some sort of honey or other such substance was put on it. They were known for their pranks on students and teachers alike, and any sort of punishment handed out never bothered them.
Shortly into being in the Academy the "Incident" as the neighbors called it happened. The twins had learned a great deal by that point and were feeling bored. Simply exercises and practices and graphs were not enough. Perhaps it was because they were always insane, or perhaps boredom had finally taken its toll but the pair of twins for no reason other than simple curiosity waited until nightfall one night before carving into their parents. By the time the smell of the blood had alerted anyone to something being wrong it was already too late for the twins parents. The twins were found standing over their bodies with several organs around them which had been cut out, and then cut to pieces. When asked who had done such a thing, as people refused to believe two eight year olds could do such a thing, the twins simply answered them with nothing but silence and smiles.
Afterwards the twins were sent to the orphanage after it became apparent that no one was interested in taking care of them. Eventually even the orphanages didn't want them and they were, upon graduating the Academy, returned to the home their parents lived in and informed they were allowed to live there.
After that... well, that's when the story of the life of two Genin Malkavian Twins begins to unfold...

RP Sample: The usual grin of intrigue dawned Ushio's face as he walked down the street looking for something to play with. Hums of odd Pentatonic scales escaped his mouth as he bounced down the road in an sickly happy way. His eyes searched constantly for a new person to play with. Then he spotted him. A man who was angry about someone not paying for food and leaving his restaurant. Ushio immediately noticed the man's hand trembling and showed a smile that would send chills down the back of any man. He walked up to him with the full intention of making him tremble in a similar fashion. He apprached the man while still singing his tune, causing the man to look in his direction and yell "Get out of here kid!" ....what did he just say? Ushio snapped immediately, catching his gaze with his haunting violet eyes. The man was immediately shipped away to a world of horrifying genjutsu that made Ushio laugh out loud. His face contorted with fear and his body shook. Well that wasn't as fun as I thought. The boy thought to himself as he continued to watch the show.
