The time had come; they had basically nothing to take with them sans for the special scrolls that would hold the supplies they where bringing back. The sheer amount of ryo they had between them in their personal stores where more then enough to buy years worth of supplies and seeds for their new home. Medical supplies, fresh fruits the people desperately needed, iron rations, dried meats, all on top of enough fresh food to keep them happy until the harvests in the late summer and early fall. The more mature trees they could find, the better; Mizuko had been busy sectioning off entire districts to be used for dedicated orchards and eventually herbal greenhouses. They would combine the traditions of their former home, the traditions of the people they had saved, and create something new; something better. They would be the medical powerhouse; the store of the rare and valuable plants and herbs. Their people would want for nothing. They named their village paradise for a reason. It would be, so long as they breathed.

They'd planned to leave just before dawn; or rather, in the twilight that served as 'dawn' this far north. The only light was the glow from the volcanoes outside the village; the sun wouldn't rise for hours yet this time of year. She couldn't speak for Kouki or Isao, but she still had an internal schedule that would be more at home in the tropics of their birth than the far north; but it was coming in handy. She was still up before anyone but the fishermen, and it left her with the time to get stuff done before she would be interrupted. It was handy today as well; she was up and wide awake for the trip. Far as she knew, they'd decided to fly south on Kouki in her dragon form, which was significantly faster then riding on Mizuko's dolphin form and taking the long way through the river systems and to the mountain stronghold. Either worked for her, though; he was so damn large they could ride in her mouth the entire way; comfortably warm and with plenty of air; or hell, hold onto her fin and enjoy the sights. It was definitely an interesting trip to travel the coastline; she'd done it a few times in the time since Denryuu fell.

At that moment, she was wearing nothing more then her normal clothing; at least what had become normal for her; a modified wet suit that allowed for protection of her body without covering or damaging her anemone; which in recent years had done a bit of a growth spurt; now reaching to just below her elbows and kneecaps. Or at least, the coloring did; her skin was slowly being converted to anemone; and at her age it took a while to happen. Thankfully, it wouldn't effect her physical skills any, so long as it didn't move to encompass her joints; which would leave her pretty well screwed for a few months while she waited for the conversion to finish, then relearn how to move again. Yep; being an Anemone was awesome in some respects... but it could be a headache in others. She had her newly bought mesh gloves on; however this was a pair she had modified to allow her to release her anemone without taking them off; she didn't need to hide the strangeness of her hands and feet around her friends and family after all; so why bother? Same went for her feet; completely bare at the moment, but she did have her special boots in her bag for when they got to the forest. Her boots, and a cloak that would provide plenty of cover and protection from both the elements, and prying eyes. Staring contest where unpleasant, no matter where they happened at.

She had nothing else but the small bag carrying her boots, cloak, and a change of clothes; they where all supposed to pack light save for the pack of storage scrolls that Kouki was bringing. Otherwise, there was nothing to take. They traveled light out of habit, and because they literally needed nothing. So long as they could find a water source, they could survive anywhere; between their beasts and personal abilities. Now, to wait.~
