Avery walked slowly along the beach, her lilac colored gaze out towards the ocean. There was really no particular reason for this other than perhaps her own boredom. Short of going to find some trouble maker to fight, she had nothing else to do at the moment and the urge to use her weapons - or find something else equally as entertaining - was high.

Having finally found a certain dress style she was comfortable with she was in what was quickly becoming her 'regular' outfit: wearing yellow, brown, orange, and black. She wears a tan vest with gold piping over a yellow, cleavage-and-midriff baring shirt with a black crest that resembles a burning heart. The vest has puffy cap sleeves with black cuffs. On the sides of the cuffs, there are two small golden buttons. She wears a brown belt with a buckle, a pouch, and a small banner-like object. The same crest appears on this banner, only golden in color. She wears black short shorts under her belt which, in the back, resembles a pleated skirt. Over the short shorts but under the belt is a white, asymmetrical back skirt. She wears an orange infinity scarf around her neck, but no other discernible jewelry. She wears brown, knee-high platform boots that look like they are made of leather, with orange socks of different lengths. Her left leg also has a gray bandanna-like object wrapped around the top of her boot. She wears fingerless black gloves underneath her weapons, which resemble two yellow mechanized gauntlets with a black design.

Her long blonde hair flows loose and messy, with a few locks sticking out and a small cowlick on top of her head which becomes lighter in color at the tips, the wind flowing it back behind her as she continued to walk. For no apparent reason at all she began to hum, a slow almost mournful sounding song about the ocean. The sun was already beginning to set, but the air remained warm and pleasant especially with the near constant blowing wind. She imagined the wind just blowing the thoughts clouding her head away; though the feeling didn't last long between the gusts - however, a gentle smile was on her face, showing that whatever it was she was thinking about wasn't exactly bad things.

Alec had never actually been to this beach before, even with as long as he'd been in Makkura. The water looked like it was alive; like it was glowing. He could see many fish, wildlife and creatures swimming within the dark, murky depths.

He was sitting nearby, in the sand, leaning back on a conveniently placed boulder. His Blind Fury stick was in his left hand, used to occasionally draw lines in the sand. Avery wanted to come out here due to boredom, and Alec was by no means going to let her come alone.

He took a deep breath, inhaling the smells of the sea, and taking in all of the sights through the chakra radar. Perhaps he would begin to come out here more often, and maybe bring some of the kids with him. He knew they'd thoroughly enjoy a day at the beach...

Mission Taken:

After another few feet of walking she grinned and turned towards Alec. "I like it out here... reminds me of home. When I tell Gran how peaceful it is out here she might want a house put out here." As she spoke she walked back over towards him; as nice as it was out here she wasn't going to step foot in that strange water - for all she knew she would end up growing an extra foot or something like that.

She came to a stop near the boulder and leaned her hip against it as she folded her arms across her chest and turned her body so she could look out at the sea once more. She couldn't believe she had never come down here before, but with the fact she was no longer the Kuraikage, and no longer super busy due to all of the extra hands now in the village, she finally figured to come exploring.

Just as Avery was about to open her mouth a very strange sight reached her lilac tinted gaze and her brows furrowed slightly at what she was seeing: there was what looked to be a fancy boat manned by a small crew that was headed straight towards the very shore they were on. That wasn't the most interesting sight though; it would have to be the man wearing an all white fur coat that looked to have come off of some sort of polar bear, and who had a large gold ring on each finger - big enough for Avery to see it from her vantage point on the beach. The man had four people with him, two females, two males, and they all seemed to be bodyguards of sorts. There was something.. familiar... about the man. As if she had seen his face or something somewhere in Makkura.

"Hmmm... something about this man. It's like I've seen him somewhere before or something.", she said softly, keeping her voice down so that it didn't carry over to the nearing boat.

The peaceful grin on his face melted away when Alec zoomed in on the boat through the use of his Chakra Radar. Used in combination with his Sensory ability, Alec recognized the rich looking man on the boat that was headed toward them. This individual used to live in Alec's former village of Hanagakure. He was ridiculously rich and had recently began making many purchases in Makkura.

”I know him... He used to live in Hana. He's stupid rich... he's recently been purchasing a lot of the new properties in Makkura... and honestly, I think he trying to pull a legal takeover, as a way to get back at me... Maybe I killed some of his family or friends. I'm sure even you remember all of the ruckus I caused out there before slitting that Uchiha's throat and snatching you as I left. I also know someone wants him dead; an unsigned scroll with a generous fee included was sent to the Tower and given directly to Jr asking that The Dark assassinate him... I was gonna give this assignment to one of the kids... but, we're here... and it's been a while since I had any exercise.”

Alec stood up and dusted off his cloak. With his Blind Fury stick in front of him, both hands atop it as if it were a cane, he moved his head from side to side, producing a pop sound on each side. A serious expression was on his face. He took the time he had before they reached the shore to study the 5 people on the boat. The rich man himself - Lee was his name if he remembered correctly - had absolutely no skills as a Shinobi. He was just an ordinary man, which explained the 4 powerful goons he had with him. 2 females, 2 males. One of the males has no weapons except for a kunai, leaving Alec to speculate that he was a physical fighter. The other had a large sword; Kenjutsu. Alec was prepared to match each of the males in their form of combat.

”The 2 guys... leave them to me. The 2 girls... one of them has a sword covered in chakra. I think she might have Weapons Technician experience like me. The other one doesn't have any weapons... and from the way she's dressed like a hoe bag, obviously to grab attention, i'm gonna go out on a limb and guess that she uses Genjutsu. Be prepared for any mind tricks. If you get caught in any Avery, i'll break you out of it.”

The boat approached the nearby docks. It appeared that they'd noticed Alec and Avery around this time, as all eyes were on them as the boat dropped anchor, and they prepared to land...

Ming and Kou jumped off of the boat soon as it got close enough to the shore. They landed on the beach with the water licking at the souls of their shoes. Kou didn't seem to care about the water, but Ming wrinkled her nose in disgust. The two females began to walk up the beach, and directly towards Avery.

Avery glanced over to Alec and gave a nod of her head in agreement with his plan. She hadn't had a good fight in a long while outside of random sparring, and already she could feel her blood beginning to pump faster as her adrenaline rush kicked in. The passive wind shield picked up around her which caused her long blond hair to blow from side to side and the skirt-like covering she wore attached to her belt to blow in the breeze. Avery moved away from the boulder with a slight grin on her face and came to a stop across from the females, about twenty feet away.

Avery waited for one of them to make the first move and it came from the weapons technician: Kou. The female reached forward while unsheathing her sword. Avery was instantly able to smell ozone, a sign that the weapon already had some sort of raiton charge even though the battle was just beginning. As the female ran nearer Avery activated her Ember Cilica which grew from bracelets into gauntlets that covered her hand, wrist, and forearm with a series of clicking noises.

Ember Celica:

Avery's stance shifted into a fighting stance as the female came near with her sword held above her head. The female brought the blade down as she got close enough and Avery brought her now covered arm up: metal met metal, but the blade - like she had guessed from the flimsy way it looked - was no match against the awesomeness of the defense the gauntlets provided: especially as the crystal charged with fuuton came into play with negated the raiton, and kept it from harming Avery at all. The sword broke and with it so did Kou's wrists: which hadn't been prepared for the sudden stop and were positioned wrong, causing them to snap at the sudden and brutal stop.

With the sword no longer something she had to worry about she began to focus on Kou herself just as the female yelled out in pain. While the pieces of the sword fell to the ground Avery put Swift into play, activating it and feeling the rush it caused. Without hesitation Avery moved, and quickly too. She circled around her opponent, stopping about every half a second to launch a punch or a kick into her body. The assault made the female look like she was having some sort of violent seizure as she was punched and kicked back and forth, seemingly from all directions at once. The female was powerless to stop the attack, unable to predict or even figure out where the next hit was going to come from before it already landed. Ribs, her head, shoulders, stomach, back, legs, knees, and chin were struck over and over again until finally Avery seemed to appear, and sent a high kick straight to the underside of the woman's chin. The power behind the kick launched the female up into the air and sent her flying out over the ocean.

Swift:

This left Avery free to now deal with the mind fucker who had watched the display with a look on her face that said she was contemplating just running away...

The two males, Yang the Tai fighter and Von the sword user, jumped off of the boat about the same time that the two females did. Lee remained behind on his boat as a spectator. He looked quite confident that his 4 goons were about to win. “Must be my lucky day, that's him! Alec Kane in the flesh,” he said, in his left hand clutching one of the old wanted posters from when he killed Izanagi, bombed Hana multiple times, and left the village without permission. “The female... try not to slice her up or break her too much, she'll be useful later, but as for Kane? KILL HIM!! Make it PAINFUL!!”

Alec moved away from Avery so that she had space for her battle. As she began to engage the two females, the two males began to approach the blind criminal, who remained still and continued standing with his Blind Fury stick as if it were a cane. Yang and Von looked eager to do their boss proud, until noticing the blindfold over Alec's eyes. Their energetic looks turned into ones of confusion. “Boss... this guy is blind! You want us to beat up a cripple?” asked Von.

“I wouldn't care if he couldn't use either of his arms or his legs! I said I WANT HIM DEAD!! DO IT NOW!!!” barked back Lee.

Alec didn't even move as Yang approached him, allowing the man to walk right up on him. “Well, you heard the boss, blind man, so don't take this perso---” Yang lie a hand on Alec's shoulder, and this is when Alec went into action. Yang was met with a flurry of fists, and could only see rapid hand movements. He was hit so many times that he began to think he was being attacked by more than one person. After about 10 firm punches that impacted his face and mid-section, a haymaker slammed into his jaw with the force that threw the Tai fighter off of his feet and backwards several feet to slam onto the back of his neck and roll twice.

Rapid Fire:

Alec put his hands back on top of his Blind Fury stick again. Lee began to look worried at this point, because Avery was making sport of one of the females, and because his Tai fighter just got knocked off of his feet by a blind man. Von went into motion next, and revealed that he had tremendous speed as well as Kenjutsu skills. If Alec hadn't been equipped with the Symbiote, he was pretty sure he would have been beheaded, since the living clothes quickly formed a shield over Alec's face and neck when the sword neared his flesh. There was a loud “KLANG” sound from the impact of Von's sword meeting the makeshift armor. The appearance of the armor made Von jump backwards.

Symbiotic Armor:

”Interesting!... I think you would have had me there. I guess that means I should get serious too then, huh?”

Alec said this as the Symbiote uncovered his face, revealing that his blindfold was no longer covering his eyes. Crimson Sharingan look between the two fighters. Both continued to look skeptical, until Von went into motion again. This time, Alec saw him coming perfectly, and moved also, in an intercept course. He could see what Von would do before he did it. Von's motion was stopped when the Blind Fury stick was jabbed into his chest, causing him to make a wheezing noise. Von made several other swings of the sword; each of which was countered before the swing could be completed by hard jabs and blows with the end of his Blind Fury stick. Occasionally Alec would even jab the end of the stick down onto one of Von's bare feet, making his movement slower. Alec ducked underneath a hard swing of frustration while unsheathing the razor sharp blade hidden within the Blind Fury stick, making a simple swipe at his waist area. When he sheathed the weapon again while on one knee, Von's pants fell, revealing that he hadn't changed his underwear in... quite a long time.

Sharingan  790/800:

Blind Fury Stick Sword:

”Some helluva shit stains there, guy. Do you even bother to wipe after a number 2?... Not to mention the stench. I guess bathing is just beyond you then, yeah?”

Like she had thought that Ming was about to do she turned and began running back towards the boat. Apparently she thought that facing Avery was a bad idea after seeing what had happened to the other female. But, Avery wasn't about to let that happen: why give her the chance to get stronger and come back again later? Better to finish this now and not have to worry about Ming showing up again some other time.

So, with Swift still in place and boosting her speed to two hundred and sixty miles per hour Avery moved, and she moved fast. She cleared the distance between herself and Ming in the blink of an eye and positioned herself in front of the female with her fist cocked back. Before the female could react, before her brain could register that Avery was in front of her and she needed to stop a collision of force happened: Mings own speed and momentum were met with the fist that Avery sent smashing into her face. However, it didn't stop there because as Avery's left fist moved towards the female's face hot ragey fire covered her left gauntlet so that when Avery's fist went slamming into the female's face not only did the impact cause a crack of a sound as she shattered the females cheek but fire also erupted across her face. The fire instantly removed her eyebrows, burnt flesh, and caught her hair on fire. However, this same fire left Avery completely unharmed as chakra also coated Avery everywhere the fire would reach, making her immune to it.

Ming ran towards the ocean upon realizing her hair was on fire and dropped to her knees. She leaned forward and dropped her head into the water in an attempt to put the fire out. Avery turned and watched the female while glancing over and noticing how Alec's fight was going with the Taijutsu user and the Kenjutsu user: he was kicking ass like she was. So, she focused back on her fight and watched as Ming got to her feet, fueled by rage as her pretty face and hair were destroyed.

Ming turned and began to weave hand signs. With a grin on her face Avery dodged one water attack after another that Ming sent launching at her. As Avery began to run towards Ming, Ming began to launch water bullet attacks towards Avery. After cocked her right fist back and began to punch the bullets away as she neared. After the fifth bullet, in which Ming had run out, Avery was in her face. Avery moved in a circle around the woman, rapidly kicking up a gust of sand that kept Avery hidden as she started to launch punch after punch and kick after kick towards the female. A total of twenty kicks hit the woman from head to knee until, as she had done with the other, she sent a kick to the female's chin that sent her flying up into the air.

Only, instead of crashing down in the ocean, Ming went crashing down on, and through, the ship that Lee was standing on. The damage was enough to cause the boat to start to fill quickly up with water... what would Lee do about that now?

It was about time to bring this to an end. While still on one knee, Alec began to channel chakra into the Blind Fury stick. Fuuton, which began to cause a slight breeze to blow from the weapon, and Katon, giving it a slight orange tint. Von became embarrassed, then furious at losing his pants. He didn't even bother to pull them up again as he grabbed his sword and lifted it above his head while standing before Alec. When the axe-like swing came, Alec unsheathed the sword to block it, used the stick portion to disarm him, then quickly sliced the man's hand clean from his wrist. He began to scream while Alec turned his back and sheathed the stick sword; the end of it pointed at Von from underneath Alec's arm. When the sword was fully within the polished stick again, the prepared finishing move went into play. A violent explosion erupted from the end of the Blind Fury stick, enough to turn Von into a substance that resembled raw hamburger. A large red smoking mess was spread down the beach.

Stick Sword Katon & Fuuton combo 700/800:

This was around the time that the Genjutsu female was knocked into the air, only to fall and slam straight through Lee's boat. This was also around the time that Yang gathered himself and came running toward Alec. Many punches and kicks were executed, but of course, with the ability to see what was coming before it actually came, he hit nothing. Alec copied Yang's techniques and began using them back against him. He'd never had the chance to actually use the Sharingan before today, and he was grateful for the exercise.

”Appreciate the practice, Yang. Since I stole these eyes, I never really got the chance to break them in. I think I can see why the Uchiha were so hated!”

“Shut up! Don't thank me, fuck you,” Yang responded, trying his best to land a hit on Alec. “I'll be famous when I take you down! Those eyes of yours will soon be mine! You probably can't even use Genjutsu like a Uchiha!”

”Sure, sure. How about we find out, then?”

Yang made the mistake of looking at Alec's right hand. That was the beginning of the end. Yang didn't quite know it yet, but he found himself locked within a Genjutsu. In his point of view, loved ones and friends began to appear all over the beach. All of them began to berate and degrade him, call him a failure, tell him he was scum. His mother appeared, telling him that she wished she'd aborted him. His father appeared, telling him that his mother should have swallowed. Old flames appeared, saying how he was crap in the bed and could never satisfy them. All of them continuously talked down at him, with blood spilling from their mouthes and the flesh melting from their faces. The sky turned blood red and filled with thunder and lightning.

Utakata - Ephemeral 675/800:

Alec watched the man scream like a woman, looking around frantically at people and things that weren't actually there. “STAY BACK! GET AWAY FROM ME! STAY BACK!!!” he yelled, pulling his single kunai and swinging it the imaginary people. Alec just grinned while pulling back on his blindfold. Lee, on the sinking ship, looked terrified. He jumped overboard and frantically made his way onto the beach before his prized vessel sank below the waves. In Yang's point of view, Lee would resemble a hideous, slimy creature with tentacles for arms. Yang began to charge toward the man. Lee protested, Yang would only hear a low roar.

“What—what are you doing, Yang!? I'm on your side! I'm your boss! No!!” yelled Lee, holding up his hands, before Yang drove the kunai deep into his chest. Lee made a choking sound as he went down, to then be viciously stabbed repeatedly by Yang. When he was done, Lee was a bloody mess, and Yang was covered from head to toe in his blood.

With his loved ones again bearing down upon him, all chanting the same eerie lines over and over, Yang grabbed the sides of his head and screamed again. He ran out into the waters, which to him would resemble an ocean of blood. Alec didn't give chase, and just watched him go with a grin. When Yang was so far out, Alec saw a large sea creature approaching from the ocean floor. It opened a large mouth and engulfed the mind broken man into a mouth which would painfully chew him with 3 foot teeth as sharp as razors, with him suffering all of 5 bites until he expired. It's snack devoured, the creature made it's way back down to the ocean floor...

”These last few days have been... quite entertaining.”

With the two females no longer a problem - one dead on impact with the boat and the other likely devoured by some sort of sea monster since she hadn't made it back to the beach and Avery couldn't see her anywhere, she turned her attention over to Alec and his fight. She watched as the man, Yang, started to scream and brandish his weapon like he was trying to defend himself against something. Avery couldn't see what Yang was seeing, and given the way he was acting she was rather glad about that fact: whatever it was seemed to be driving him insane.

Her lilac colored gaze shifted over to Lee as he jumped overboard of his quickly sinking boat and swam his way over to the beach. She had been prepared to do to him what she had done to the other two females when Yang turned on his boss and began to use that kunai he still had in his hand on him. After Yang killed his own boss he then ran into the ocean... and that's when Avery saw him eaten by a sea monster that seemed to have chosen the right time to swim over with this way. With the four body guards dead and Lee as well Avery turned her attention over to Alec with a grin. "Indeed they have.", she responded to his statement.

Her gauntlets retracted into the yellow gold bracelets they looked when not activated as she walked back over to Alec. "Kinda glad they showed up though... gave me a chance to get some practice in." Nope, she hadn't minded that exercise one bit; though her blood was still pumping and her heart racing at the anticipation of more practice.

"That Swift sure is fun to use... and with these new weapons... Well, I can surely see why Mits chooses to just use speed and that scythe of hers to get the job done."
