For once, Kasumi was feeling like going outside. Most days, she stayed indoors and studied or just didn't move. However, today would be the day she actually went outside for a change. When Kasumi woke, she opened the windows by her bed. Looking outside, she blinked ever so slightly. The weather by many would be considered perfect. She yawned, and stretched out her back. Pulling back the covers, she got out of her bed. Padding quietly over to her bathroom, she headed inside it and looked on at her reflection. Her hair tumbled down her back, not tied up. She entered the shower, the cold water blissfully cool to her skin that was always freezing to the touch. Many people avoided her because of that trait, but she had learned to get on with it. Exiting her shower, she quickly hurried over to her wardrobe and dressed in her usual attire. Looking once more at her reflection, she nodded, deciding she looked acceptable. Grabbing her satchel from the side of her dresser, she headed down the stairs. Heading over to the study she had, she selected a book about the history of the world. Sighing, she slipped the book into her blue and white side bag before heading outside. The sun was glaringly bright. Kasumi's skin steamed for a few brief seconds while it adjusted to the sun's blaring gaze on her. Sighing, she thought to herself "Why me..." before she walked off. Around her home, there were several other ones just like it. Her adoptive father, Lorand had arranged for this decent home for her, with means she couldn't even begin to comprehend. Smiling at her fond memories of the old man, she walked briskly off.

Nearby, she found a secluded park. This one was usually intended for the residents who lived close to it, like she did, but others found their way in and no one stopped them as it wasn't technically a rule. Wandering through the trees and flowers, Kasumi slowed down slightly, admiring the nature. It was calm here, birds were singing over head, and it served to place Kasumi in her place of zen. She sat down under a tree, its canopy shading her. From her side bag, she pulled out her book and continued to read. While she did this, the sounds and general serenity continued. Something, however, made Kasumi look up. She was being watched by someone.

The bar. Nobuyuki would've liked it very must if the bars were open at this time of the day, but the sad fact of the matter is that they weren't. Or at least not the good ones anyway. The ones that were open catered towards those either with money or a higher ranking than that of a genin – like yours truly. So instead of sneaking into of the establishments, something that he done on numerous occasions, only getting caught on during a few slip up, he made the decision to go elsewhere. Plus there was this promise that he made and he would be for damned if he didn't keep it. With all that considering, Nobuyuki woke up this morning and instead of dressing like he was on duty or going out, he dressed in civilian clothing – that didn't mean he didn't dress to kill . . . metaphorically speaking.

His short cream hair was slicked back with a generous amount of non-scented oils, bangs that obscured his vision was cut along with any ungodly split-ends. The moisturize applied to his golden brown skin only heighten it's flawless appearance radiating healthiness. A black semi-transparent silk shirt embellished with golden Chinese dragon on the back, covered the upper portion of Nobuyuki's body, while indigo colored pants covered the lower half, and finishing the look was a casual pair of black shoes that matched the shirt lacking the décor. Yes, Nobuyuki didn't considered his outfit a club-worthy one and was simply something that he wore out every now and than.

Weaving through the crowded streets of Hinowagakure, Nobuyuki took noticed of the various inhabitants of the recently formed(or was it reopened?) village. It amazed him that so many people would come back to the place despite everything considered.

“Hey! You came!” The voice of a six year old child shook Nobuyuki out of his musing, causing his attention to be turned to the black haired, rounded eyed, boy who was not tugging on his short sleeve and leading him towards where a group of kids were waiting.

A warm smile manifested across his face, and Nobuyuki's heavy lidded eyes sparkled with warmth and mischief that betrayed his age “I promise, didn't I?” He asked, playfully yanking on the boy's and slinging on him on his shoulder. The young child giggling with excitement as the white haired man trotted towards the children.

For the next two hours Nobuyuki played with the children, playing tag and other child games, before ushering them back to their respective parents or in some cases the orphanage. Playing with children wasn't something that he did often but Nobuyuki did so more than others. A small price to pay to see kids happy.

After the last child was dropped off at the nearby orphanages, Nobuyuki decided to take some reprieve for the day and head towards the secluded park nearby the last drop off. Bending his legs a little, Nobuyuki jumped upward as he landed perfectly on a tree branch, having founded a decent tree to lay and take a nap in. With a single leg dangling off the sturdy limb and his back comfortable resting against the trunk of the tree, he was about to dose off before he saw something. . .or rather someone that caught his eye.

A woman.

Instead of taking a nap like he had planned on, Nobuyuki founded himself watching the woman adjacent from him read a book, and by how focus she was on it, a pretty good one. This little bird watching . . .err woman watching lasted for awhile before the inevitable happen.

He was caught.

”Guess I should have foreseen that.” Nobuyuki thought to himself jumping down from the tree, disturbing the grass a little upon the descent and making his way towards the woman, an ever present smile on his face.

“A nice day isn't it?” Nobuyuki spoke, his body being positioned in a way that any light that could have been obscured wasn't allowing her to continue reading – if she planned on ignoring him.

Looking up, Kasumi merely sighed. Her zen was broken, and all hope off her finishing her reading were out the window. Interrupted, by someone. Kasumi's general opinion of people wasn't that high, but this man really took the icing. Not only was her obstructing her reading, but he was also trying to get a conversation out off her, two things she didn't take lightly too at all. Sighing, she looked up at him. He was strange, she hadn't seen him around before, but she never saw anyone really so it didn't matter all that much. Speaking, in her usual calm and ice-like tone she said "Why are you interrupting me..." Kasumi wasn't big on the whole talking thing, especially on irritating people.

She could probably guess why he was here, either he was generally an idiot or he found her looks to be interesting. That's what the usual men around the village wanted from her, the drunks or merely oblivious ones. Kasumi did not have time for any of them, she had only herself to care for her in this world, ever since her adoptive father had left her all alone, here in an unknown place. Kasumi snapped the book shut. However, one thing was obvious about this one, he was a shinobi. He wouldn't be balanced that perfectly otherwise. She sighed, that made the situation all the more annoying for her. Why, was he interrupting her.

Standing, she slid the book back into the satchel and place said satchel on the ground. She walked backwards a bit, as too fully see the person who had bothered to not only interrupt here, but also had the nerve to spy on her. True, it might have been her own fault for not detecting him earlier, but still. He had fully annoyed her, and that was something that was difficult to do at the best of times. However, despite all this she looked calm, she spoke again however, more ice seeping into her voice, the icicles practically dripping off her tongue. "I hate, perverts" She ran towards him, and full on sparta kicked him. The amount of cold seeping off her would be felt by him, despite any clothing he might be wearing. The force off the kick would have been enough to send him tumbling. She headed up the tree, and sat down, looking at him. Frost seeped off her into the branch.

Nobuyuki's ever present smile was still plastered on his visage and the pair of blue gems were peaking from behind his heavy lidded lids. His whole disposition gave the aura of a friendly individual who for all tense and purposes just wanted to strike up a conversation. While she did interested him greatly, he didn't care much in trying to woo her for nefarious reasons, that can wait till the nightlife. The man simply just wanted to start a conversation with a resident of Hinowagakure. There was no harm in that, right?

”A pervert!?” Nobuyuki mused to himself, blatantly ignoring her accusation of him being a pervert – someone who got their jollies off by looking at other women. This man had more class than that! And the fact that she accused him of being one bit into Nobuyuki deeper than anything else. If there was one thing Nobuyuki didn't like was when others compared him to perverts – something he despise with a passion.

Maybe you should move. . .

Know that little voice in your head? The one that tells you to do something and you completely ignore it? Well. . . Nobuyuki completely ignored the voice and the end result? Him tumbling a short distance, air being knocked out of him, as he got kicked in the chest by a female who obliviously have some anger issues. At the moment of impact Nobuyuki briefly noted the coldness her flesh but played it off as a trick of the mind. Dusting himself off, Nobuyuki looked up in the tree she was in before following her example, landing on a branch higher than hers. His eyes didn't even look down at the woman as he spoke calmly “Was the kick necessary? Or is that how you greet every stranger?” He asked.

“The name is Nobuyuki. And you are?” He asked.
