Hikari stood in the main front lobby of building A of the newly completed Makkura Hospital. The builders had finished just the other day, and the equipment had just been finished being installed and set up. It had taken under half of the time that Hikari had originally thought it would, but then again she hadn't had to do this alone. The buildings were perfect in every way, and she was unable to find a single flaw with any of them. They could treat any sickness, ailment, or injury sent their way now, and that would gave the people of Makkura the ability to thrive even more than they had in the past few years since Alec Kane had taken over the village.

Unlike in Hinowa, where she had secretly been dreading the opening of the hospital due to the fact she was the only medic in the village, she was rather happy to see the first person come in needing help. She knew this wasn't a task she was going to have to do alone, and she knew there were others who she could call on if she needed help.

This though in itself caused a grin to spread across Hikari's face as she wandered around the large lobby/waiting room area. Citizens of the village both young and old had already applied for positions within the hospital; anything from the janitorial staff to security to secretaries and medical record clerks and everything else in between. Everyone seemed eager to provide a helping hand to the place and Hikari was more than grateful for it all. Her own mother, who had now had more than enough training, had already been hired on as one of the nurses to assist: as had several other members of the village.

Yes, this hospital was going to be destined for some really great things in the near future... that much she was certain of.
