General Description: Toshizou is short, with turquoise eyes and short, spiked, white hair, which tends to draw attention.  He wears a standard sleeveless black and white robes with a green sash around his shoulders, held together by a round, star-like clip. The sash holds his sword's sheath (Will train for Kenjutsu later, allowing the sword on a later date) in place on his back and is tied to it at either end. He sometimes walks around in his all black robe. He is relatively young by Shinobi standards, and has the appearance of a child. 

Before Toshizoi was a Shinobi, his hair was not as spiky, with only a few spikes here and there. He also wore the standard Shinobi outfit, but with the addition of the Senju insignia on the back of his outfit, hoping to become one.

Toshizou also sports a hairstyle similar to that before he became a Shinobi, and a long turquoise scarf.  His green sash has also changed to a thin chain, but still retains the star-like clip.

Personality: Toshizou is a very mature and calm ninja for his age. Anything he deems childish will be ridiculed and criticized to the fullest extent of prosecution allow.Therefore, he likes to spend time with older and more experienced Shinobi, while avoiding the young and immature ones. Toshizou also likes to use his looks against people, causing them to hesitate and giving him the chance to strike. He also likes to be seen and not heard, making him seem unemotional and serious. This is not the case, he just keeps to himself. Because of that, he sits back and analyzes things going on in a fight before he fully jumps in with the other obnoxious and impulsive ninja. He is bold, but he keeps that part to himself.

As a Senju, he can think of himself as superior to others sometimes. He is very critical and won't hesitate in pointing out your mistakes and exploiting them as much as he can. His motto, if it doesn't kill you, it only makes you stronger. Sometimes this is true, other times it's not. Regardless, Toshizou likes to use it anyways even in real danger. He thinks of the glass half full, in a somewhat sick way. Like if you nearly died he'd say, "Look on the bright side, you're still alive to fight for your village another day." See how this can seem rude?


Likes: Toshizou likes to feel better than those in his rank, and almost rightly so. He has the Chuunin equivalent speed and reflexes, and can sense people sometimes. Almost rarely does he though, because he hasn't trained it much at all. He also likes to criticize those who appear to be inferior and act like it as well. Getting upset only makes him laugh. He also likes water and the Suiton release. He has grown accustomed to it and feels at ease when around water. Likewise, for nature itself, because of being a Senju, he feels like he is one with the Earth and its inhabitants. He believes that his sensory came from the unique trait held in Senju.


Dislikes: Toshizou hates the thought of failing anything at all. He will not give out hope and refuses to fall to anyone, stronger or not. He knows this can be used as a weakness, but he prides it as well. He goes ballistic when it seems that failure is a foot and becomes enraged. Toshizou also dislikes immaturity and anyone younger than himself. He steers clear from young individuals and sticks with the older ninja, learning their wisdom and taking their advice. He also hates impulsive and obnoxious people. He thinks that they're too dumb and fidgety to sit still for once and consider the consequences.


Motivations: The first thing that fully motivates this Genin is the thought of failing in front of his friends, his family, and anyone watching him or fighting him. He doesn't back down and won't show his back to his enemy. He refuses to be sent away in shame because he failed something and didn't have the power to succeed. The second thing that motivates him is the pure manifestation of anger. If you get him mad enough, and all riled up, he'll get going with the program. His anger fuels him like coal to a railroad train. The more coal is added, the more the train can go. It can also quickly burn  out though, leaving him tired because of all the energy he spent.


Fears: Toshizou's worst fear is to fail at everything he does and will do. It haunts him whenever he's starting to fail and won't go away until he succeeds in whatever he's doing to make that feeling occur. If he doesn't succeed, it consumes him for that split second and he breaks down. He begins to snap and become enraged with himself and the one who caused him to fail. He'll start to deny his failure and then refuse to accept it. Once he does though, it pushes him even more to make sure that fear doesn't enter his heart once more. He will train harder and start to memorize and use more jutsu at his disposal. Most of all, he'll think of new tactics and strategies to beat his opponent.

History: In total, Toshizou spent three years in the academy, graduating earlier than usual due to his pre-academy training. He kept a steady grade throughout his years and was typically at the higher spectrum of his class, even if he wasn't the all-time best student or shinobi in training, respectively. Toshizou's vision of Shinobi changed while he was in the academy, and experiencing the arts of the ninja with other people. He found that he actually wanted to pursue a ninja career, although he didn't know why, himself. The real reason behind this though was that he was happy to socialize, and to move along with other students. Even though he was very out-going and enjoyed having the company of others, he was very much looked upon by the other students as better than them, merely because of his surname. No matter what Toshizou did, he couldn't actually shake the fact that the Senju title would mark him as part of the higher class in the academy, and his 'circle' of friends was generally very limited.


Even so, he progressed very steadily in the academy, signs of his hidden bloodline starting to peak out yet not actually manifest into a useable art yet. He would usually grab hold of a teacher and have him teach him of his family and their capabilities. He didn't know it then, but it was making him arrogant and very cocky. He learned of his clan and how they created a humongous tree and all the things they did. He learned of his potential as a Mokuton user and hoped he would primarily focus on it. As he would later learn, he had more capabilities in Suiton than in Mokuton and the other element that made Mokuton, Doton. He learned of the fights between the Uchiha and Senju. He even heard rumors and read myths on the Senju and the Uchiha being related. The Senju being the second son, the preferred one as well, and the Uchiha being the first son, the neglected one almost, of the Original Sage of Six Paths. Such honor bestowed on the young boy made him feel Superior to all, even the Uchiha. 


He felt not even the all seeing eyes had had anything to stop him. He was going try and excel in class and out of it. Taking time out of school to train as well. He would then graduate the academy and start his journey.  

RP Sample: Kouketsu was currently laying down in the forest of Niwaurushigakure. Yes it was potentially dangerous but didn't care in the least for the moment. He was enjoying his single day off from work that hes had in ages. Finally, he had time to just lay around lazily and enjoy life for what it was. He was laying on a patch of grass with a log as a head rest. For right now, he had all the time in the world for absolutely nothing. Nothing could stop this kind of blissful feeling. That was, until he woke up, back to reality where no ninja had the time or leisure for that kind of luxury. He lazily got up from his cotton bed and gradually managed to put his clothes on. Another day another minute gaining ryo and new jutsu.
