Kinzoku let Alec know that there were... loose ends he needed to tie up back home. There was something he wanted to look and find in his grandparent's old home, not to mention grab up anything he happened to leave behind. He had to admit he wanted to travel home one last time anyway; after all, he may have hated the place now, but it was where he was born. The cool air of Makkura was nice, but he also missed the scorching heat.

Alec reminded Kinzoku of what Strafe said at the Summit; the part where he'd said that if Kinzoku ever returned to the desert, he'd kill him. Kinzoku didn't even bat an eye. All Kinzoku could remember is what he himself had told Strafe: the next time that they met, it would be on the battlefield. The whole Holeman clan was here in Makkura now, so it wasn't like he had anyone half as talented in Sensory as them anymore. No one would see him coming unless they got nosy, and Kinzoku wasn't really counting on many eyes on him.

An Iron Platform carried him through the dark shadows in the wilds around Makkura, swiftly headed in the direction of his old home. The platform was constructed of sand straight from his gourd; his specialization meaning that he didn't have to use chakra to keep it airborne anymore. Kinzoku quickly crossed the Sea of Light, able to sense many sea creatures below, small enough to be held in the hands, and large enough to swallow a man whole.

The heat signaled that he was close to the desert. He would try to enjoy his trip back home, but had the shaking feeling that something would go bad.
