| With Kaia-Mai's taijutsu training complete, and a lot more knowledge, strength, and balance under her belt to help further her in her quest for power she walked back up the streets of Makkura. She figured the area she had found to use for training would come in handy later on when she decided to finally go ahead and train up her wind release so she could learn more powerful jutsu. For now though she was headed to the hospital to get the cuts and scrapes that had occurred on the large boulders she had been carrying around for strength training looked at.
In the short amount of time since Kaia-Mai had decided on making Makkura her permanent residence she had undergone a sort of change. She no longer wore the rather revealing outfit she had back in the hot deserts of Yokuchi, and had instead gone with a more conservative, and warmer, outfit. A purple top was worn beneath a white hoodie. White leggings that disappeared into black flat sole boots that went halfway up her knees covered her lower half with a purple skirt that tied on her right hip over top of this. She wore a bandanna to cover the majority of her half black, half white, hair on top of her head, her hair back in a messy ponytail beneath this. For now the sleeves of her hoodie were rolled up so that she didn't get blood all over them.
She walked through the village, having explored it earlier and learned the layout rather well; at least well enough to get to where she needed to be without any issue. She walked into the hospital and gave a glance around. It was one of the buildings she had yet to peak her head into, so she was rather curious about the place as a whole. She walked up to the receptionists counter, hoping that there wouldn't be a long wait since she really was just bleeding all over the place slowly but surely. She figured she would likely need a few stitches, but wasn't very worried about it. |

| Back in the huge village of Makkura.... The cloud carried him above the many lit homes. Alot of them were new, from the renovations Alec was constantly doing. With Alec and Jr running this place, Holeman could honestly see a future here, a bright future even though it was dark all the time, but he couldn't help but to feel like there was... more. Like he was mission out on something.
He thought of going to talk to Alec about it, or maybe Jr if he could get him to come down out of the clouds, until he caught of wiff of blood. He quickly zeroed in on the new girl from his home in the desert, entering the hospital that Holeman was told was just recently finished being built. The kid leapt from the cloud and landed in a crouch before it's doors.
He walked in soon after she did, noticing that she was bleeding; judging from the smells and the way she'd changed her clothes, Holeman guessed it was a training accident. ”You alright?” Holeman asked with his usual, stepping around and looking up at her because he was shorter than she was. This was usually the case, and he didn't mind always being the shorty. ”I... i'm not actually on staff here? But I told Hikari and Alec i'd help out... I'm Holeman, by the way. I was born in Yokuchi. Maybe you heard about me and Mits running around beating up psychos...”
Holeman's hands were already glowing a green color in anticipation of stopping the bleeding and sealing up her wounds. |

| Kaia-Mai turned as she heard someone else walk in. The receptionist had a "Be back in 5" sign up on the desk so she had just been about to go have a seat. However, before she could do such a thing, she watched as the kid she had seen earlier come walking over to her. He seemed to be looking at her arms though she couldn't figure out how, and his hands were glowing with what she knew to be healing chakra from the books she had read back home.
She held her arms out to him, giving him better access to the wounds. "Just got a bit cut up earlier when I was carrying around some boulders for strength training. Really didn't bother me at first, but I just can't get them to stop bleeding and it's been a while. Figured I should get them looked at just in case.", she explained. She then grinned and nodded. "Yeah, I've heard about you two. A lot of kids in the academy did. Everyone always talked about how they wanted to be like you two; beating up the bad guys like it was easy as baking a cake. Quite inspirational."
She watched her arms, wondering if his healing would fix the wounds completely, or if she would require stitches like she would get back in Yokuchi's hospital. |

| Holeman pulled on both of his fingerless gloves tighter and started moving his hands across her arms. The green chakra would give off a painless and cool sensation to the touch. If she watched, she'd be able to see the bleeding stop, and her wounds miraculously heal, like a movie in rewind. - Mystical Palm Technique - 775/800 Chakra:
Name: Mystical Palm Technique Canon/Custom: Canon Rank: A Type: Supplementary/Offensive Range: Close Specialty: Medical Ninjustu Duration: / Cooldown: 4 posts Description: This medical ninjutsu allows the user to speed up the body's natural healing process by sending chakra from their hands into a wound or afflicted body part. This allows the user to heal a patient without the need for medical equipment or surgery, making it highly useful on the battlefield. It can be used to treat both external and internal injuries. It is vital to match the amount of chakra used to the severity of the affliction or injury. This requires a great amount of chakra control. Because of this, only a few highly skilled medical-nin are able to use this technique. By sending an excess amount of chakra into the patient's body, the user can overload the patient's normal circulation, trapping them in a comatose state. (25 Chakra) ”Heh... well at least the kids in the academy noticed us, unlike some people...” was Holeman's response, but keeping the grin on his face. There was no use being depressed over old stuff anymore. ”We didn't get the audience or the attention we were expecting, but... I guess it was fun anyways.”Kaia-Mai would have felt no pain during the procedure; all she would have felt was what little discomfort she might have been feeling suddenly cease. When he was done, Kaia-Mai would be as good as new with not even scars. Holeman went behind the counter and opened a cabinet to rummage around several moments and come out with some alcohol wipes for the dried up blood on her arms. ”All better?” he'd ask, handing the wipes to her. |

| Kaia-Mai watched as the bleeding stopped as Holeman healed her and the wounds seemed like they were reversing. She hadn't seen exactly the way they had happened given the large boulders she had been carrying around, but she figured it was like watching them rewind themselves back to the way her arms had been before she had done her training. A grin spread across her face as the mild discomfort and pain she had felt completely vanished. "That's awesome.", she commented on his healing skills. She had been sure she would need stitches or something equally as annoying, but with Holeman having healed her she was as good as new.
"Heh, I kind of know how that feels. I did twenty-two missions while I was in Yokuchi and I don't think I ever even got placed on a squad. I could be wrong though.", she said with a shrug. "I was too busy to be home if someone delivered a message there for me."
She watched him rummage through a cabinet and then return to her with some wipes. She ripped open a few of the sterile packets of alcohol wipes and got busy with removing the blood from her arms. It took a few tries and a few wipes, but after the third time she was completely blood free. She tossed the used wipes into a garbage nearby. "My arms feel great, thanks a bunch. I'm pretty sure my mom would have freaked out if she ended up seeing me covered in blood like that." |

| Holeman just shrugged his shoulders when she said awesome. Healing people was as easy as breathing nowadays; it was just something that came easy. She said she'd done 22 jobs, and no one had really noticed... The grin on his face sort of faded and he shook his head. He just couldn't find words when it came to some people, some villages... and apparently the desert wasn't the only place.
”Well, people might tell you that the Kanes and their Dark thing they have going is nothing but evil super villain stuff, and yeah, they might have done some pretty bad things in the past and recently, but everything had a reason behind it, and as long as your loyal to them they'll look out for you for life,” Holeman said.
He turned to exit the Hospital, headed to the house he was given to stay in while figuring things out after leaving the desert. Maybe it was time for something to eat and a nap, then sometime later a conversation with Alec. ”Take it easy, newcomer. Hope you'll like it here in Makkura, it's not as bad as some people make it seem...”
Holeman waved behind him while walking back outside into the dark village.

| Kaia-Mai nodded in agreement to what Holeman had said about the Kane family. She had already figured that all of their actions had been something like that, that they had had some reasoning behind all of it, but it was good to hear it from someone else. She still felt she had made the right choice in abandoning her previous village and coming to live here in Makkura with her family. Her parents had arrived not long ago and both had been over the moon to see the house that had been given to them, and she knew soon her father would get started on treatments for his condition: he was already talking about opening a shop again just like he had had before.
"Thanks again!", she called after Holeman before watching him walk out. She finished cleaning up her mess and then too turned and left. She headed back towards home, the idea of food now fresh on her mind. It was around the time her mother normally started cooking dinner so she figured she would be able to steal a few bites of some vegetables while her mother cooked.
