Yeah, gunna do this again. Anything goes; ideas and suggestions you think will benefit the site in some way. This can be anything from updating old clans to new systems; events, games, etc. Everyone can post, please don't be shy. Depending on what the idea is, you might just net a nice little prize for your ideas.~

I think some sort of sparring area should be implemented. The fights would not be part of the actual story of the site or character plots but would instead be a place to allow people to get a better feel for their character(s) through combat with other PC's. It would also encourage interaction with other players. You could get two players who want to fight each other for fun and take it to the sparring area. You could also introduce a challenge system where, for example, a player could challenge another player and they both put a small sum of ryo down making a winner takes all prize fund.  The winner could get the cash prize or maybe even a free jutsu depending on what they wagered at the beginning of the fight. Or something along those lines. I think it would encourage more interaction between the players, just for a bit of friendly rivalry which they could then go and take into the actual role playing world fueling their character's desire to travel. It would help get some movement around the site.

I know we talked about it a while ago, but what about an award for the top poster (outside of the Dicemaster)? It would give people another reason to post and be active.

I also like the idea of an area for fighting. We could even do a tournament of sorts. Rank wouldn't matter; everyone could have a set amount of chakra to use for it. The only jutsu allowed would be those from the library, and outside of chakra cost rank of the jutsu wouldn't matter. The only thing that would about the player themselves would be their specs/elements determining what jutsu they can use. Winner could get a prize such as a rare jutsu, or the bumping up of a spec/element or something. I believe it would keep those who want the Chuunin Exams happy until we have enough people to do so. And, like Oni said, it would promote interactions between characters.

Yeeeah, the OOC Tourney and spam areas are long sranding ideas; we even sort of had them at one time. But this would be the perfect time to bring them back, really. I'm sure Javon will agree with this, and it'd prolly make him super happy too.

Alright, well in case any of these interest anyone these are my more well thought out/detailed thoughts on the fighting tournament thing that I had; you can use any you want.

- Rank doesn't matter; anyone can fight anyone.

- Only jutsu usable would be those from the library, or clan based jutsu that are in the clan application; this way outside of clan jutsu being different depending on who was facing who everything would be fair and it would simply come down to whose the best fighter. No one could call foul or be upset because their character isn't as well developed as someone elses / they didn't have time to get that far yet.

- All jutsu in the library, so long as that character has the appropriate specs/elements to use it, are fair game. Even if a character is a Genin, for the purpose of fairness, they'd be capable of using high ranked jutsu while in the tournament/fighting.

- Each person would be given a set amount of chakra they can use that would be equal to everyone else. That chakra would follow the chakra rules we have established (such as how much chakra you need to have left before you'd pass out or need medical attention).

- We could create an arena that would have access to every base element to allow for fairness. Or, if two characters can agree they could create their own area for their fight.

- Freebie S/SS ranked jutsu

I'd be willing to be one of the judges when it comes down to it; I have no interest in entering it as an actual fighter, I'd just be watching anyway.

Works for me, yep. We can use the probending arenas from LoK, they'd be perfect.

I think it would be a good idea if you have a max number of jutsu you can take into the tournament and everyone posts their selected jutsu in a thread so we know who's using what. Having access to say 7 or 8 jutsu would require you to be much more tactical in a fight. Almost like how a pokemon trainer chooses his pokemon to go into a tournament match
