Dragons! Actual, tiny, baby dragons; Nene couldn't believe his eyes. He had heard talk about a festival involving dragons coming up, but he never figured that there'd be, you know, actual dragons. Sure, he knew there was a clan of dragon sages in Kumogakure that tended to be involved with its inner workings, but that didn't make this any less... fascinating. He just stood and stared at the flitting, playful creatures, eyes wide and something akin to a smile tugging at his lips; the mission request crumpling beneath his fingertips. Dragons. Actual dragons. He'd yet to see one, and it was definitely a sight for him to behold.

"... Well, I can't stand here forever, I guess. Might as well get on with it; this'll be some good exercise, heh." It was more than just simple exercise, he soon found out. Despite being a d-rank mission the little buggers were not easily caught and appeared to have a habit of disorganizing and even wrecking some merchant's carts. They had to escape to this part of the village, of course, the area of bustling commerce. Good for him and them that only a few merchants were still out and trying to sell, making this a tad easier than if it had been any other time here but this time of the evening when everyone was back at their homes in the residential district. Any time his chasing led one of the dragons to a cart or setup he had to quickly apologize and perform acrobatic feats of dodging cantaloupes and keychains that he didn't know he had in him; safe enough to say he didn't, really, and a good part of this mission reward was going to have to go to repaying the tradesmen.

His gaze was firmly locked on a small red creature near to him, the squirming winged lizard blowing puffs of smoke with each attempt of roaring flames. At first Nene was a bit worried that he'd get seriously injured, especially with not being able to fight back thanks to the seals, but all this did was prove that he didn't have much to be concerned about. Maybe some teething, if anything, and he figured his arms would be covered in marks by the end of this. With a sigh and a crack of his back, he charged, directly flinging himself at the dragon and... narrowly missing as the thing noticed his presence and wiggled away, seeming to mock him as it darted across the market. He'd have none of that, of course, and his hands flew to make the appropriate handseals. A moment later and his palm is pressed against his chest, a smirk seeming to stretch his lips farther and show off the gleam of his teeth. "Tokkan no jutsu." He purred, arched over a bit, and it wasn't long before the shock administered to himself made him flinch; quickly overshadowed by his quickening pulse, the flush spreading across his cheeks, and then tightening of his stance.

He was gone in a flash, putting on the full speed his epinephrine addled body could muster. The dragon didn't stand a chance this time and merely squeaked as it was grabbed in what could only be described as a runnerback hold, Nene not halting his movement for even a moment as he bounds over a laid out assortment of items on the market floor and sprinted to the caging area- gently tossing it in and getting a cloud of annoyed smoke as his thanks. Shrugging it off he moved on, feet pounding loudly and actually grinning quite a bit by this point; God, he never got a chance to just let loose and have this much fun in such a low leveled mission, lately.

The next three were rounded up in a flash and a few broken bottles of sake, the shattering glass behind him ignored; he could feel his body calming, the hormone fading from his system and making his actions a bit more sluggish. Dropping each off, he stopped for a moment and slumped to the ground, panting heavily and mentally checking off the number he had caught and the amount he still needed. One. There was only one more dragon for him to get, and he could see the chaos it was raining in the distance. (As much chaos as a young mythical creature could cause; which is quite as much as you expect.)

With a few more gasping breaths he pulled himself up, stretching and popping his knuckles; the same devilish grin still present on his face, positively beaming. "You're mine." Was the last thing he muttered, leaning back on his heels before rocketing it off; he could feel the jutsu end, feel the temporary exhaustion gripping his body, but he fought past it. Speed lowered or not, his innate taijutsu experience had to pull him through this. Sure, he probably could have ended this a lot sooner with a lot less dramatics if he had just stopped and planned out his moves, but what fun would that be? Not enough for the Tsuguren heir, at least, and he displayed this by laughing out loud as he ran.

The last dragon, a thin, long-bodied green one, proved to be more a much greater challenge than the last four. It was smarter than them, or at the very least smarter than him, and it seemed to know exactly what it was doing as he weaved in and out of carts and around pillars; leading Nene on a chase he could do without, but was enjoying all the same. "Goddamn, dude, you're bothersome! Just! Let! Me! Catch! You!" He grunted, pouncing at its position only to hit his head on a statue and whine for a bit. He only allowed himself a few moments of rubbing his head before heading back to the event at hand, ending up running around the same exact pillar for a solid thirty seconds chasing the thing; he could almost hear it laughing, the scene something out of a children's cartoon.

Eventually the red headed shinobi had enough and halted in his tracks, standing rigid until the creature plowed directly into him- having continued its rotation and not noticed that Nene had stooped giving chase. Before it could wiggle away again he grabbed it with a hand by the back of its neck, being as gentle as possible while flowing chakra through his balled up fist to keep it exactly where it was. One of the few times chakra enchanced strength had come handy outside of a combat situation, he reckoned, gasping for air as he dragged it back to the pen, squealing and kicking all the way. None of this stopped him for chuckling as he tossed it in, flashing the dragon that same smile and giving it a sweaty smile and a thumbs up.
