| CRASH!
Jinx jumped awake, startled by the sudden and violent sound of glass breaking. Jinx blinked, still half asleep, and brought her hand up to her eyes, rubbing the sleep out of them. ‘Who in the world is breaking stuff and making all of that noise at this time of the morni---‘, she had started to mentally ask herself when the sudden realization hit her that she was alone in the house – or should have been. Aunt Amaya and Ashi were at the hospital working because it was shorthanded and weren’t due back until that evening and Aisling was with Aella out training since early that morning and the pair weren’t due back until supper time.
Jinx turned her head and looked towards the clock on the nightstand next to her bed: it was about eleven o’clock in the morning. No, no one should have been in the house; no one would have shown up without knocking on her door and poking their head in to announce they were there.
Jinx continued to sit on her bed, head titled a bit so that her right ear was pointed towards the door: fully awake now. She could hear the sound of more things breaking, of drawers being opened roughly and their contents banging together. Someone was robbing them. Someone was in the house. Someone was going through their things. That took balls, big ones. Even if they got away they would still be tracked down, hunted like some kind of an animal. You just did not rob an Inuzuka and get away with it, especially if said Inuzuka was as experienced as those in the house.
But, Jinx couldn’t just hide in her room an let them take stuff even if it would have been recovered later on. What would happen if they got their hands on something rare, on something valuable? … Like the scroll Aisling always kept nearby her: it was important, had to be with the way she protected the thing. Jinx was out of bed like a bullet fired from a gun. It didn’t matter that she was still in her pajamas – a white t-shirt and pink colored shorts – she was going to stop this robber before he could get his hands on something dangerous, something that should never be touched by anyone else.
She was across her room just as quickly, wrenching the door open roughly and allowing it to slam into the wall where the doorknob made an indent. She figured if she made a lot of noise it might just scare of the intruder into leaving instead of her having to actually fight whoever it was.
Of course, the intruder wasn’t about to be scared off by what he deemed as a ‘little girl’ or so was the thought that crossed the intruder’s mind as he peeked his head around the door way and looked down the hallway at Jinx. “Well, well, well… what do we have here? I didn’t think anyone was home, but you won’t cause me any trouble will you?” As the masked robber spoke he walked down the hallway towards her.
Jinx took that time to take in the robber’s stature. He was tall, roughly six foot six inches in height and he was huge; built like a football player. The robber wore a black mask, a black t-shirt, and black jeans, as well as a pair of combat boots – apparently black was just the color for robbers and thieves alike. There were various scars up and down the man’s arms as well as bruised knuckles that showed the man fought with his hands – and given his large size she assumed he won a lot.
Jinx was small compared to that man, only four feet four inches tall and weighed only seventy pounds. There was no way she was going to be able to fight this man head on, but maybe she could still figure her way out of this… The man went to reach for her, obviously attempting to grab her so he could physically control her. Jinx ducked beneath the hand and slid across the floor on her belly and right between the man’s legs. When behind him she scrambled to her feet and took off down the hallway.
She could both hear and feel the booted feet behind her of the large man as he turned and began to chase her down: causing the floor to thunder beneath his steps. Jinx was fast, but the man had a longer stride than her. He snatched her up by her hair falling out ponytail. Jinx’s feet went out from underneath of her as she came to a sudden an unexpected stop and she smashed, ass first, onto the ground. The man began to drag her backwards, towards the hallway closet, by her ponytail. Jinx lifted her hands, fingernails digging in to the single hand that held her by her hair: attempting to scratch him enough to let her go.
As she got about halfway down the hallway she realized that that tactic wasn’t going to work and instead she turned her attention elsewhere. Jinx reached backwards, hand balled into a fist, and sent an upper-cut of a punch straight into the man’s nether-region. He let go of her instantly, holding himself as he let out a groan. Jinx didn’t waste any time in scrambling to her feet and taking back off down the hallway. As the man regained his composure he took off after her, only Jinx wasn’t going to make the same mistake twice. She knew the man’s weigh and overall size would make it hard for him to make quick turns like Jinx could and so she waited until the last second to dart off to the right and straight into Aisling’s room.
She slammed the door shut behind herself and pressed her back against it, feet pressed against the floor to add leverage. She locked the door as she felt the large male’s footsteps outside of it. She could hear and see the doorknob move as the man first tried to open the door that way. When it didn’t work he began to press his weight against it, using his shoulder as leverage. Jinx lowered herself down more towards the ground, hoping it would help her get better leverage in keeping the door shut. As she lowered herself she bumped against something that had been hidden in the corner behind the door: The Black Sun Scroll. The scroll tipped over and rolled, opening as it did so. At the same time the man on the other side of the door began to punch it; his fist going right through.
Jinx weighed her options and quickly: she could either keep by the door and continue to attempt to use her little bit of body weight to keep the thing shut or attempt to get out of the only window in the room before the man actually got inside of the room. Thinking the window was her best bet given the condition of the door she was up on her feet and scrambling across the room just as the robber’s hand found the doorknob and opened it. As she was reaching the window the man was moving across the room.
When Jinx went to dive out of the window the man grabbed her by the ankle and tugged her back in: Jinx’s chin slammed against the bottom part of the window frame before she landed, sprawled, on the floor, with her ankle still grabbed. She turned, attempting to kick at her attacker as she tasted blood in her mouth from where she had bitten her tongue.
The blood trickled from the corner of her mouth and down to her chin where several drops then fell from and landed right on the opened scroll… The man started to drag her out of the room, her kicks not doing more than adding fuel to the agitated fire that was the man attacking her. |

| The blood was enough -- it was similar to Amaya's that it would trigger the release. But what it released was nothign to be trifled with. The scene was simply divine. The parting of the air to make way for his arrival, a violent maelstrom of energy, erupting from a focal point in the scroll. Around it, debris began to move, swirling around him. Anything not properly secured would no doubt be upset, moved about. Beautiful. To who? To him, it was simply dull. He had seen it too many times. The way the violet currents poured from the hole, increasing in number and luminousity as the point grew larger. Once the rip grew large enough, the first limb, a leg, pushed through. Barefooted, ragged pants ending upheld to his waist by a thick rope. Barechested, his dark skin seeming to shine in the fading light of the energies emited from his entry. Black eyes, flickering with a color reminiscent of the energy about him, calmly, noting the inhabitants of the room before turning crimson, seeming to spin within sockets as the tomoe on them connected and took on a strange shape.
His chest heaved, releasing a small burst of flame as the male took his first breaths of air in a decade. Fingers clenched, forming fists as he struggled to remember, to reason. He'd been expecting something so very different -- an open battlefield, not a closed room. There was some guy with his hand on the foot of a young girl, possibly dragging he-- oh, what a lovely birthmark! It was cute, shaped exactly...--
Suddenly, the world snapped. He remembered. And he was very fucking pissed off.
Black flames erupted over his body, much to the shock of those present. Crimson eyes stared at the child on the floor, then at the male holding her, whom was staring back at him.
What? Had they never seen a scroll hold a person within it?
Not that he was any old person. He was a legend among the people of Niwa; a former Sannin under the old age of Kenta Inuzuka. The Fearless nin that can, and would take on a bijuu alone, and drive it back with his bare fists. But it was his nickname that he was known for, the creation of a jutsu that combined two of History's most notorious attacks into something more... The Black Sun. There was an old saying "Where ever the Black Sun set, there would be nothing but ashes come daybreak."
And here he was, watching as a child was dragged by a grown ass man. In a single stride, the male crossed the room, arm cocked back and already moving forward to slam a flame covered fist into the jaw of the other male. The force of the blow was enough to shock him into letting go of the child, his own body spiraling out of the room to the sound of the Black Sun's roar.

| Shock showed plainly on her face at what she was seeing as a man began to rise out of the scroll: it was something she hadn’t expected, and upon noticing the blood on it, she realized what she had done too late. She almost was more terrified of the man who came out of the scroll and promptly caught fire before something registered in her memory: old stories told to her by her Aunt Amaya and Ashi, and by Aisling and everyone else. This… was her father? Aunt Amaya had never denied her answers to the questions she had asked in the past, and Amaya had told her that her father had been sealed away for a while....
Well, this just got interesting. "Daddy?..."
As the would-be robber was punched in the face by a flaming fist that caused him to spin out of the room Jinx was released. She didn’t waste time in scrambling away from the door way and getting to her feet. Her tongue hurt from where she bit it and she could still taste blood in her mouth as well as feel it running down her chin and dripping off of it to the floor below.
“Aunt Amaya is at the hospital, everyone else is gone too… I woke up to him trying to rob the place. Thought he’d get scared off when he heard me but instead he attacked me.”, she said, though her speech came out slightly awkward given the condition of her tongue: she wasn’t sure of the explanation was really needed, but figured she would try and explain the guys presence in the house anyway and why exactly he was attacking her. She lifted up her right hand and used the back of it to wipe away the blood causing it to smear across her chin slightly in the process.
Meanwhile her attacker was attempting to regain his composer; though with piss poor results. It was one thing to fight a little girl, a genin fresh out of the Academy, but it was an entirely different story to fight someone on Naota’s level: and this guy just wasn’t ready. |

| "Get up."
The growl of an order was accentuated by the tongues of flame that dance from his mouth as he spoke. Give the girl had called him Daddy confirmed his thoughts; he was indeed his child. Naota hadn't seen Jinx since she was a newborn, the one brief time that he held her in his arms just before he'd been sealed away into the scroll. He could only wonder how long he'd been gone -- given Jinx's age, he would only assume that it had been quite a long time.
"Aunt Amaya is at the hospital, everyone else is gone too… I woke up to him trying to rob the place. Thought he’d get scared off when he heard me but instead he attacked me.”
So, some random ass fucking thief broke into the house of his sister with the intent to rob them. That was fair; thievery was a way to live. A thief could be forgiven, reformed, and become a productive member of society. But this man had decided to attack the young girl whom was home. That was so far beyond unacceptable that the elder completely lost his fucking mind. The fact that the girl he'd attacked was his own daughter only added more fuel to the fire, which blazed on his skin even hotter than before.
"Who the fuck are you?," spat the thief through a mouth of blood and broken teeth. As the male struggled to his feet, the elder Uchiha took off again, grasping the would-be thief by his face and driving him backwards with the force of a thirty ton semi doing downhill on an icy road with no brakes. Down the hall, smashing pictures off the walls as the and the enraged male used the thief as a battering ram, driving him through walls with a barrage of punches; bathroom, ripping the sink off the wall and allowing water to flood everywhere, living room,; smashing through the tv set, and literally breaking the couch and coffee table in half front hall, smashing the front door off its hinges and finally into an old sakura tree in the yard. The entire way, the thief screamed for help, crying and blubbering. But Naota didn't care; he'd lost it. This man had crossed the line. All the elder could hear in his head was I almost lost my baby girl...
The power of the elder's chakra was overwhelming; it hung in the air, thick and heavy, a constant pressure on everyone within the range -- a grand thing, that extended to half the village. And for those close by, they would find it hard to breathe, hard to stand up straight. Around them, dogs began to bark loudly, scared by the sudden disturbance and the heavy pressure. Rather quickly, shinobi began to gather to investigate the disturbance, and were watching on in shocked awe.
"Please man, I'm sorry-- Ahh! No more, I'll leave, I swear!"
"Get. Up." The growl was still there; the Mangekyo Sharingan spinning in his eyes, allowing the flames covering his body to burn hotter as he cracked his knuckles.
"Wha? Please man, just let me--" The plea was silenced by another shot to the jaw that was delivered with enough force to uproot the tree that the thief was leaneded against.
"Until you body lies broken on the ground, lifeless and turned to ashes... then you may leave." |

| “The fuck outta my way…”, came Amaya’s voice as she arrived on the scene. Those who had come to investigate didn’t need told twice. Amaya had come from the direction that allowed her to see the sight of the sakura tree, her brother, and someone wearing a mask – who she obviously assumed was a thief. She wasn’t worried about anything haven been stolen, no, instead she was worried about how the hell her brother had got released from that scroll. There were only a few people who knew about the scroll itself, and even fewer still who had the ability to open it.
Ashi was still at the hospital, playing guard for the nurses and other medical staff where a would-be violent maniac was being restrained in his room. She acted as an extra set of arms in the chance the man got loose of his restraints. Amaya knew that Aisling and Aella were far away, training on the outskirts of the village. That meant that… Jinx. Jinx had been home alone. Jinx had released Naota from that scroll.
“Hello, brother…”, she said towards Naota as she landed – a way of announcing herself so he didn’t turn his anger in her direction accidentally. However, she didn’t stay there and instead moved across the yard and into the house while searching for the all too familiar feel that was her niece’s chakra. She found Jinx coming out the hallway and stopped her, noticing the blood on her mouth. Amaya didn’t hesitate as she raised her hand to her niece’s cheek, pouring healing chakra into her flesh; healing the bitten tongue and the cheek. “Make sure you spit out any residual blood; swallowing too much will make you violently ill… “
She turned towards the backyard again heading in that direction as she asked, “What happened?” Amaya didn’t care about the broken furniture, the flooding bathroom, or the damage to the house – they had needed a bigger one anyway. What she was concerned about was who this man was who had apparently harmed Jinx enough and somehow led to the release of her brother who was madder than she had ever seen him before. |

| Given the amount of destruction her father was beginning to cause throughout the house as he continued to cause harm to the man who harmed her she no longer felt bad about spitting blood out on the floor. It was better than swallowing it and that was all that mattered: the coppery taste was something she had tasted a few times before – mostly during training sessions – and it was something she didn’t care for.
Slowly and cautiously she followed her father out of the room and down the hallway; making sure to keep back and out of the way of the rampage he was causing while also making sure not to get further hurt by tripping over the debris littering the house. She couldn’t help but wonder as she moved down the hallway what her Aunt Amaya or anyone else who lived in the house for that matter was going to say about it all: she had a strange feeling that while anger was the normal reaction to most people who found their house destroyed her family was not going to react in such a way.
Before she could get futther down the hallway she realized her Aunt Amaya had arrived and before she could stop her, or say anything, her cheek and tongue which had been bitten were being healed as was the bruise that had begun to show from where her chin had smacked off of the bottom portion of the window. With the pain no longer something she had to deal with she took her Aunt’s s advice and spit the remainder of the blood onto the floor before following after her.
“I woke up to the noises of someone breaking in…” she said as she followed her Aunt Amaya outside where she spotted her father. “I made as much noise as I could as I got up in the hopes of scaring him off. It didn’t work and instead he attacked me. I went to run and he snatched me up by my ponytail and caused me to lose my footing; then he dragged me down the hallway. I punched him in his groin to get him to let go and barricaded myself in Aisling’s room. He punched through the door and went to break in; I guess I bumped the scroll over in the process. When I went to go out the window he grabbed me by my ankle and caused me to bash my chin off of the bottom part of the window as he pulled me back inside… I bled on the scroll. Then dad was there…” She didn’t need to go into further explanation than that; obviously her aunt would be able to put two and two together to figure out that Naota had lost his mind upon realizing that the man had harmed her and had made it his personal mission in life to make the man suffer.

| “Hello, brother…”
A grunt of recognition was released when Amaya spoke; he was not trying to be rude, but he was a bit pre occupied with violently beating this thief within an inch of his life. Another fist was drawn back and shot forward, cracking the man's jaw in several places. As the man screamed through the blood pooling in his mouth, the male didnt waste any time. The limp, screaming, soon to be corpse was lifted into the air by the throat and dragged over to Amaya and dropped at her feet with a thud and scream of pain. Red eyes stared at his sister, the flames spewing from his mouth dying away to mere smoke. "What do you wish to do with him...?"
While The Black Sun had no qualms about killing this man, nor did he doubt anyone would stop him.. he felt it would be appropriate to give someone else the chance to decide his face. He was sure this man would never forget this day for the rest of his life -- this man, given everything that happened to him today, would probably never walk again. But he'd been gone for too long, out of the game for several years -- perhaps things were not the same as they once were, perhaps it was best to find out where everthing stood before executing a person in the view of everyone. |

| Amaya listened carefully as her niece explained exactly what had happened: how this man who was currently getting his ass beaten by her older brother had broken into their house, how when she attempted to scare him off it had backfired on her and he had decided to attack her. Through some sort of series of events following this Jinx had accidentally ended up freeing her father from that scroll who had likely recognized Jinx and well… had sealed the man’s fate.
Or not, since her brother was differing to her about the robber’s fate.
Had the man broken in and just stolen some stuff she wouldn’t have likely cared so much, but this man had not only attacked Jinx but had drawn blood: that was unforgivable in her book. Amaya had an example to set, not only for the future safety of her family, but because of the position in the Uchiha clan that she held: clan leaders couldn’t afford to be soft, not when one of their own was attacked in such a way. She didn’t want to think about what might have happened had Naota not been released from that scroll and had the commotion not attracted so much attention.
She stared down at the man with a cold and heartless stare, a slow and malicious grin spreading wide across her face. “Kill him… an example needs to be set for anyone else thinking about attacking someone in our family.” She then turned her attention to the burglar who was looking absolutely terrified and grinned further. “You made two mistakes in one when you attacked my niece: not only did you attack someone close to me, but you attacked someone who’s a member of the clan I reside over… pity, you didn’t have to choose my house.” She fell silent then, looking to her brother as the signal for him to go ahead and end the man’s life: she felt no pity towards him over the situation.

| That… wasn’t exactly unexpected. She figured that one way or another the man was going to die it was just simply a matter of how: either at the hands of her father or the hands of her Aunt. Though, while she didn’t exactly know what her father was going to do to this man or how long he was going to drag it out she was curious as to see if he was going to make the man suffer some more first. Her Aunt Amaya sure had made her mother suffer back when she had tried to kill her – or, at least she thought her mother was dead. Her Aunt Amaya had taken off for several days and when she had returned she had had such a satisfied grin on her face that she couldn’t help but think she had finally killed her and enjoyed it the entire time.
But, she shrugged those thoughts off and focused on her father and the robber: hoping her father wasn’t going to ask to be put back into that scroll after this was all over. She wanted to finally get a chance to know him – her Aunt Amaya and everyone else was great but nothing beat a real parent like a real parent. She wanted to get the chance to finally really get to know her father in person and not just through all of the stories she had been told throughout the years.
