Yokuchigakure.

It was, all in all, a very beautiful village. It was a bit too hot for most people to handle, at least during the day, but a beautiful village nonetheless. It was through this village, more importantly the very busy market, which a particular young female was roaming: a quest for some sort of ice cream fresh in her mind.

Kaia had switched from the normal outfit she wore – one that would be far too distinguishable and far too uncomfortable to wear in this desert heat and into one that allowed her to blend in with the majority of Yokuchi’s population. Kaia’s head and face – outside of the bright blue eyes of hers – were covered in a thin, nearly see-through scarf, red in color with gold decorations going down along the seams: keeping her face not only protected from the sun but rather hidden at the moment. With this she wears a matching short-sleeved top which stops about an inch above her belly button; also red and gold to match the scarf covering on her head, and with the same colors going down to the flowy wrap styled skirt she wears with it. Kaia’s feet were covered in matching gold flats; keeping them safe from the very hot sand beneath them.

The pouch which hid her ryo was beneath one of the layers of the light material wrapped skirt, hidden from being snatched by any would-be thieves, her weapon was likewise carried on her – not something she ever bothered to leave without after the incident with the chakra beast now sealed inside of her only a year previous. However, her weapon hardly caused her to stand out in the village, so she wasn’t at all worried about it: it wasn’t an uncommon thing for visitors to be armed after all, nor even some of the merchants and other children like herself she could see from time to time while continuing on with her quest for something cold to eat.

“Ice cream…. Where are you?”, she whispered in a sing-song voice to herself as she paused and looked around. “If I was ice cream I would be….. In my belly.”, she finished her own sentence with a soft giggle.
