By stereotypical standards, a ninja was supposed to be a headstrong, brave, and kind-hearted person with power beyond someone's imagination. When Shinji looked at himself, he only saw a weird, antisocial, freak full of hatred with no special abilities. Where was that possible going to get him? Was that supposed to be normal? Then again, what is normal? There were ninja out there who could destroy entire nations with a sweep of their hands. Yet they're were the meanest, the sick hearted people that wouldn't bother to protect the lives of others or their comrades.

Maybe that was the key? You couldn't care about anyone other than yourself, so that you could gain power you wanted. The power you needed. Though, what would be the point of gaining all that power to protect people, and then when you reach that level you were searching for, you don't really care what happens to anyone. Shinji sighed as he sat at the edge of the rooftop he was on. If only he could find the answer to life and why it was so complicated.

Allie Mushin, a rogue ninja of her village decided to come to Suna to hopefully recruit more ninja into her ranks. So she looked and looked all day but could not find no one that peaked her interest. By the end of the day she had almost given up hope entirely of find anyone of true potential in Suna until she saw boy on the edge of a rooftop. Weird...... she thought as she continued to stare at the boy. He looks interesting maybe he might have some potential and not waste my time here. Allie quickly moved behind the building the boy was on and leaped up the building facing the back of the boy as she landed with a soft thump. 

"Hello sunshine....wanna play with me?" Allie laughed flirtatiously at the boy and batted an eye at him. "You look to be in pretty good condition for a kid....I could have some fun with you."

Shinji thought about just leaving and having some food or something. Something told him not to. Maybe he should stay put. Then again, he could regret that decision. What would matter? Fate was fate right? He sighed as he heard the voice behind him. So there would be a reason for him to regret his decision. He looked straight ahead, not even bothering to look at the person behind him. "If you want to fight me, go ahead. You're just wasting your time." he said. He stood up. "If you're wanting to take me away somewhere. Go ahead, you're still just wasting your time." He ran his fingers through his hair and tightened the straps on his bandaged hand. "If you deal with me, I'm telling you right now before anything else, that you're wasting your time." he told her. He shrugged. "But that's what I think. I don't know." Shinji's blank face didn't take any effort at all. He really didn't care what happened right now really.

Allie mentally sighed when she processed his response. "......really...what kinda ninja are you. Here I am a Rogue ninja from a DIFFERENT VILLAGE threaten mortal combat and you want to be melodramatic. I guess other villages ninja aren't as well trained....hmmm well I guess you should already have guessed but I will tell you anyway, I have killed several of your fellow ninja now, does that make you want to get up and fight me?" Allie really had a hard on for this guy he seems unlike anyone she had ever met before......weirder than her. "Please oh come on lover boy, Misery needs her fill of souls for today and I think you would be a good notch on my belt. If you do not then I will start sniping old people until you attack me brat." Allie readied her bow and nicked an arrow and drew the draw string aiming down at the unaware citizens of Suna. She spoted a little old little carrying flowers no more than 40 meters away. "Attack now or that old lady's life will be on your hands boy." Allie laughed evilly hoping to get a response from this boy.

Shinji stared forward. He sighed. "Oh, well... that's unfortunate." he said. That actually wasn't a bluff. He really didn't see a reason to be affected by that. They never cared about him really. So why care about them? He swept his hair away from his face and sighed again, laying flat on his back. "If I wanted to fight you just for that, then I'd be an idiot." he said. He closed his eyes. Was she trying to draw his attention towards something? Was there something she was trying to explain to him? Or prove? What was she selling? He looked up at her, and then the old woman. He shrugged. "That's too bad. I don't feel like it." he said. He looked up at the sky. "Suppose you kill her? What difference does it make? She'll probably die a couple days later even if you don't. You say her life's on my hands, but you're the one who killed her... makes me wonder what anything means." he said.

"My god...you are utterly hopeless...jeez what happened to you today...your cat die or something." Allie sighed over dramatically at the thought of him being a dud. "I thought you would peak my interest but so far you have done nothing but strength my drive to find someone of a challenge in this hellhole you call a village." Allie lowered her bow and slung it on her back again with a smile on her face. "You were a complete waste of time....what a drag why couldn't you get up and fight with some gusto and spirit instead of being a thundercunt of an asshole.(Allie bends down and gets close to his ear and whispers.) Bye....." Allie suddenly disappeared from the building but stayed close to the area keeping an eye on the boy to find out more about him. He is different than a normal kid I just know it...what is his secret.

Shinji looked down. He couldn't bother. He knew she was gone, and he would've answered her question. He was going to answer it anyway however, because that one answer had to do with everything that put him down. "Because I'm weak..." he said to himself. He got up and looked over the village. What was the point? What was it really? He walked over to a stone water well and repeatedly struck it. He punched it and kicked it, trying to tear through the crack that was formed after one of his hardest punches. All he was getting were bloody knuckles, oozing from his fist like syrup. He didn't stop though. He didn't care. As much as it hurt, he really couldn't careless. We all had to give up something to get what we want. One blow from his shin almost caused the crack to form either further, but at the cost of almost incapacitating him. He could barely walk.

So he is weak huh.....bummer. I thought he would be worth my time but I guess not well at least I can follow him and see where he is going. 


Allie weaved through the building following at a short distance behind the boy to see where he could possibly be going as injured as he was. 

Maybe he gets off on pain or something weird like that....would not be the first time. Allie mentally chuckled as she continued to follow his blood trail. 

If he does not get help soon he might bleed out, she thought to herself. Does this guy feel this type of way about his emotions.....who taught this guy how to be a ninja...his mom???

It was a hot morning in Yokuchi, in fact the heat was giving Ander a headache. He hated the weather when it got like this, I mean... Sure, the deserts hot. It had always been... But he didn't have to like it. Besides, it was just adding on to a bitch headache. "Oii, what to do, what to do.


Walking through town the kid could see plenty of merchants, civilians, and ninja. Nothing out of the ordinary just yet. This really was a lame job, genin couldn't do anything except look for cats and stuff. Which made him... want to get a higher rank. Maybe even become a kage or something one day... Ehh guess it all depended on what he could accomplish until then. 


Turning a corner he stopped, it sounded like somthing was beating against another object. Looking around he saw nothing the only thing around was this building to his left. Maybe he would go investigate~ 


After climbing the stairs to get to the building he saw some kid attacking a water well. "Err little overkill dontcha think." Ander would would walk over to see blood on the side of the stone. "Dude, hardcore.."

Shinji threw punch after punch, relentlessly beating the water well. He threw one more punch that opened the crack a bit and let some water seep out. It was a little refreshing to feel the cold water on his burning skin, but it was better that he relieved himself of the rage he was feeling. Pure and fiery energy that coursed through his mind. He clenched his fists and looked down. His fists were dripping with blood and sweat. He was breathing hard. He turned his head to see the stranger looking at him. He turned his back to him, and sat on the floor, pressing himself to the water well.

Scratching his cheek, Ander would take a seat next to the other boy. He couldn't help but be nosy, besides this kid needed to get some of that pent up anger out. "So... You wanna talk about it guy?" Ander said this trying to put on a nice face, though he couldn't help but want to punch the well himself. It certainly would hurt, but it was possible, and maybe it would help his Taijutsu... Yeah, he'd come punch the well later. His mind was made up; Anyways back to kid then.

After setting there a moment he'd speak again, before Shinji could answer. "Hey, we all have our problems don't be afraid to talk about yours... No one's gonna feel sorry for you if you keep giving them the silenet treatment. Especially me, so spit it out or go whine some more." The brown haired boy would shrug, then he pulled out some beef jerky. It was in a ziplock bag, and was full of delicious meat!"Want some?"

He awaited the boy's answer; more importantly he wondered what the blunt words from Ander's mouth would do to the bleeding kid. Personally the Ex:theif didn't like people who were acting like this. This kid was probably going to be a dick, Probably. If so Ander would just leave. He had no time for people like that. No time, no time at all...
