Mission Taken:

Now the real Shinobi missions began. The kid gloves were coming off. This was serious ninja shit that most likely came directly from The Kage. If this worked out she'd probably begin to take notice, but Kuro didn't care. All that mattered to him was the action; the chance to use the techniques he'd honed on the battlefield. The task at had was to deliver documents outside of the village to an ANBU agent. It was dangerous, and the chance of him being attacked was high. That meant whoever got in his way was fair game. Taking someone else's life, if they deserved it, was nothing that Kuro had a problem with doing.

He'd been told that others died doing this task, but that didn't make him hesitate from taking the documents and immediately setting out. The documents were in a bag located on his back, as he had no plans of trying to read what was in them. They were none of his business, and Kuro wasn't the type to go poking his nose in places it didn't belong. The guards at the village entrance wished Kuro luck, to which he responded with just a blank stare, creating confused ones from them.

There was a specific meeting point a distance outside of Kumo where Kuro was scheduled to meet the ANBU agent. it was maybe a mile outside of the village where the first attack came from above. Several dark dressed individuals wielding Katana blades all attempted to ambush Kuro, and seemed to be successful when their blades sank deep into his flesh...only for the body to vanish and turn into smoke, signaling that they'd fallen for a Shadow Clone. The 4 figures also found that their actions began to be controlled by an outside source, and they all began turning on each other. 2 stabbed each other, as did the other 2. they all died in the dirt in confusion, and could see the same young man that they'd stabbed seconds ago walking on, whistling a tune.

Kuro could have looted them, but he didn't see the point. He would be paid plenty enough once this mission was over with, and he was never one to scavenge or loot dead bodies. The next attack came from an individual who looked to be a formidable foe. Though Kuro had no physical training and wasn't as fast as someone skilled in Taijutsu, his speed was still enough to avoid that attacks from the foe and the Nunchaku he wielded. This individual wasn't expecting his own shadow to be formed into a blade and ran through his gut in the end. Surprise was in his eyes as blood dripped freely from his mouth and nose, looking down at the Death Shadow Blade piercing his abdomen. The blade disappeared and allowed his body to drop into the dirt, where it would soon expire.

The ANBU agent was waiting at the designated spot. "Any trouble getting here?" the male asked as Kuro took off the backpack and handed it over. Kuro simply shook his head no. "Good, we were wondering when someone with enough skill would actually be able to pull this off. The last 5 people who attempted this mission were found dead and dismembered. Good work, you'll be doing your kage proud." The ANBU agent vanished in a cloud of smoke, and Kuro turned to head back to the village...
