This had to be the most unorthodox squad that she had ever had in her entire life as a shinobi; and especially as Raikage. However, there were reasons why these two individuals were chosen above everyone else she could have picked. Her choices could have been seen as playing favorites but in Amara Hyuuga-Tsukino’s case they had peaked her interest due to the amount of work they had been putting in around the village.
 
The first individual she had chosen was someone she had met with once before and whom she had given permission to go to Niwaurushigakure in order for him to hunt down some sage clan: Kuro Nara. She had done some research about the Nara clan and their ability to manipulate shadows. This research had turned up that because of how intense their Shadow Release training as they were incapable of learning any other element – not something she figured was a problem so long as you knew what you were doing.
 
The second person whom she had chosen was an individual by the name of Usagi "Nene" Tsuguren. Much like the first member of her squad she had looked up information on Usagi, or Nene’s, clan as well: descends of Tsunade who specialized in Taijutsu and Medical Ninjutsu.
 
They would both be interesting members of her squad: of that much she was sure. So, with her squad chosen she had sent out letters to each of them via a Chuunin messenger.
 
To Kuro Nara / Usagi Tsugeren,
I, Amara Hyuuga-Tsukino, have chosen you for squad one; my squad. Our first official meeting will be held at the Cloud Shore. Please arrive promptly at two o’clock this afternoon.

Now all Amara had to do was wait for them to show up; she didn’t mind of course as she sat there upon one of the larger boulders and watched the cloud sea move in and out like waves lapping at a beach. For the purpose of this meeting she had changed out of her traditional Raikage garb in favor of a black tank top with a dragon on the back of it in gold with a black netted long sleeved top beneath it, black capris, and black shinobi sandals.  Purple colored hair blew behind her in the wind as she stared out at the clouds, waiting….

For once in his dragging life he was nervous, slumped in the Tsuguren household's living room and digging at his cheek with his nails; chewing on his lips. "Raikage-sama... I'm a member of Her squad?" His voice was shallow, muted, weighing on his mind. It was not every day you had a live audience with the all-purposes ruler of your village, and even less that you were actually involved with them in any way. A squad with the Raikage... He wondered who the other members would be. There WOULD be other members, correct? He couldn't see himself training with Her by himself; the thought made his heart beat faster. He wasn't cut out to deal with such high-ranking members of the village.

Yet, he couldn't shake the feeling that this might be fun after all. Slowly pulling himself up he left the couch, making his way to the counter and writing up a quick note to Momo; she'd see it, when she made it over to the clan house like she did nearly every afternoon. He didn't have time to track her down with the deadline nearing, and he definitely wasn't going to make the Raikage wait. A red hoodie was tugged on, covering his black shirt while leaving his tan shorts and weapon holsters fully visible. He had no intention to use the weapons, at least not on the Raikage, but he didn't want to leave them here when he might be asked to do something.

A quick survey later found him with all his equipment in place, tugging on his gloves and checking to make sure Hogosha was properly secured; breathing in a shaky breath and letting it out all the same. There wasn't even a point to be nervous, he rationalized, the Raikage has to already know everything about you and what you've done; if she was disappointed, she wouldn't be calling you over like this. She'd just let natural selection take its course.

Pulling open the door and starting out into the midday light he wiped his lips and fixed a mask of apathy on his face; you just wait, he muttered, scratching fingers through his hair. I'll make this village proud.

It was a little while later when he found himself at the Cloud Shore, a place he hadn't spent much time but was now wishing he had. He stood on the path, eyes flicking around the area and trying to find Her, or anyone else, really. He settled on a spot in the distance, on a boulder, and slowly made his way over. He was going to be so danged embarrass if it wasn't a member of his squad, though he had a feeling he had picked the right one; it looked like the only other person here, at least.

"... Pardon me, miss?" He called out as he neared- back straight, hands at his sides and walking stiff.

How were you supposed to greet a Kage?

I'm putting this on hold for now since Amara is stepping down as Raikage in favor of Satoshi taking the spot. I'll restart the squad thread shortly; sorry for the trouble.
