Name: Raiton: Lightning Rod

Description: By holding a metal alloy in the air they can attempt to absorb any projectile lightning jutsu shot in their general direction, this ability can be used to save allies and also supply the user with lightning to perform their elemental attacks. The absorbed lightning after being taken in has 1 more post to be shot of or used before backlash occurs and the user receives the attack with it’s normal effects internally. The user can only absorb techniques of his own ninja level safely without taking side effects. Genin can absorb C rank jutsu and below, Chunin B Rank and below, Special Jonin A rank jutsu and below, Jonin S rank jutsu and below and finally Kage with SS rank and below.
If the user tries to use a technique in higher rank then they can use safely they will take damage for attempting to do so. As an example a C rank ninja uses a something one rank higher (B rank), the jutsu will go off as normal if used but might go in an unintended direction. The user will suffer sharp shocks and very slight internal damage, additionally perception is slightly distorted and a limb may get paralyzed temporarily. If the same C rank ninja attempted a jutsu two ranks higher than them (A rank), then the jutsu’s power would be too great and they absorb the technique instead taking the full damage from it plus side the side effects of large internal organ damage, plus risk of cardiac arrest. Finally if the C rank ninja attempted to absorb a jutsu 3 ranks higher (S rank), the effects are the same as absorbing a jutsu 2 ranks higher except the cardiac arrest is imminent and internal combustion occurs frying most of the users insides

Description: The user stabs an Alloy into the ground surging Lightning into it which bounces along the ground at great speed in an arc motion. It can only travel in a straight line once released, if it comes into contact with a target the lightning rushes through their body burning the contact point and minor shocks into the system. It also distorts vision slightly for a few seconds before returning to normal.

Description: The user points their Alloy horizontally in front of them and charges Lightning chakra into the Alloy, building it up for a few seconds before firing it off. The lightning crackles around the metal before firing off in a cone arc in front of them. The jutsu can cause major shocks, electrical burns, internal organ damage, and may cause cardiac arrest.

Description: By using a fan weapon or something similar that has a large area to it the user can push forth a large wall of wind that displaces and slows down projectile weapons, able to stop Kunai and shuriken dead in it’s tracks and some small scale jutsu. Senbon are too thin to deflect and larger weapons such as axes or spears and larger jutsu aren’t affected. This technique buffs fire techniques and shouldn’t be used against them unless as part of a combo or the user has a death wish.

Description: The user places a hollow tube in their mouth and forces wind chakra through it a bit at a time, this bullets travel at immense velocity able to pierce flesh deeply and cause heavy bleeding. The jutsu has a total of 5 bullets per use which have to be shot rapidly one after another without delay.

Description: The user slams a large blunt weapon into the ground making the earth surge forward like a wave across the ocean, the earth moves rapidly knocking most things out of it’s way, after around 15-20 meters it collapses on top of itself encasing anyone unfortunate enough to be caught by it.
