| Basics! Name: Holeman Age: 15 Birthdate: 10-24 Rank: Jonin (A-Rank) Village: YokuchigakureClan: Holeman Element(s): Suiton, Raiton Specialties: Medical, Ninjutsu Special Characteristics: - The Blind Eye:
The first Holeman, fully educated on the various powers one could gain from the Uchiha eye, surgically removed his own eyes, and those that chose to follow him followed suit, rendering future generations of the Holeman clan permanently blind. But because of the Elder Holeman's extensive background in Medical abilities, he devised a Medical technique that forced only several few Holemans into a state of "Evolution". Holemans cannot see, but all other senses (touch, smell, hearing and taste) were boosted to almost super human levels after many years of blindness. A Holeman can "feel" things around them by vibrations and changes in the air pressure. Holemans can remember anything they've smelled, and can naturally track the scent within a radius of roughly 5 city blocks. A Holeman can also hear things within that same radius, and can tune into almost any conversation, even if the people talking are whispering. A Holeman can also taste things in food that others cannot, such as poisons.
The current generation of Holemans have also developed a sort of "radar." A small amount of Chakra is constantly emitted from the body and rebounded back to the Visual Cortex, a part of the Cerebral Cortex in the human brain responsible for processing visual information. (The Cerebral Cortex plays a key role in memory, attention, perceptual awareness, thought, language, and consciousness.) This allows the user to "see" the environment and other people around them in the immediate vicinity.
Drawbacks: A Holeman suffers a -1 weakness to Doton based Jutsu. Doton can block the effects of The Blind Eye. Because of the Holeman's Chakra radar and the constant emissions from their bodies that allow them to "see," A Holeman has 20 less Chakra than an ordinary Ninja would. Also, should a Holeman obtain a Dojutsu eye, it is impossible for the Holeman to use the eye and the radar at the same time. Doing so will result in migraine headaches that can last for as long as 2 weeks. A Holeman can no longer activate and deactivate a Sharingan eye at will, should the Holeman obtain an Sharingan, and has to cover it when not in use.
- Chakra Enhanced Strength:
Name: Chakra Enhanced Strength Type: Combat Requirements: Medical (S-Rank) and Taijutsu (S-Rank) Ability Tier: 4 Minimum Rank: A Description: This is a technique where the user focuses chakra into their hands and feet using precise chakra control and releases it with pinpoint timing, which greatly enhances their strength, giving the user enough strength to easily make gigantic craters or kill opponents with single strikes. Chakra Enhanced Strength can only be used in a single post, combined with physical attacks to make them more lethal for example, and requires a 3 post cooldown after usage.
- Master Sensor:
Name: Master Sensor Type: Combat Requirements: Journeyman Sensor Ability Tier: 3 Minimum Rank: A Description: You have trained and refined your sensory skills to the point of mastery; making it nearly impossible to surprise you in combat. You are easily able to sense chakra and life-forces within a 150 foot radius of yourself and your reaction time is enhanced by ONE full rank (to a MAXIMUM of S-rank).
Appearance! Height: 5' Weight: 125 lbs Hair Color: Unknown Eye Color: Unknown General Description: Holeman is an average looking boy, wearing a dark blue Uchiha clan shirt (a white wife beater on hot days) and loose fitting red knee length shorts. He wears a red du-rag that covers his eyes. Because of his sensitive hearing Holeman wore special ear muffs. Holeman wears medical tape around his wrists, red fingerless gloves and red sandals on his feet. About You! Personality: Holeman is described as a very laid back individual. Many say he's the reincarnation of some old man because of the way he acts, which is more than double his age. He is very intelligent and often knows things that most adults don't, and is often the voice of reason when one of his friends prepare to do something stupid. Mostly due to having highly developed senses from his blindness, Holeman often enjoyed cooking and eating many different types of foods, and enjoyed cooking for his friends. Holeman wasn't the type to go looking for trouble, or get into fights if he didn't have to. But if there was no other choice, even blind, Holeman was well able to defend himself. Because his highly developed senses could easily get over-whelmed, Holeman tended to stay away from large crowds and loud people. He could almost always be found somewhere in a generally calm mood relaxing with a grin on his face. Some have even claimed they've never seen Holeman mad, but he happens to be very protective of his friends and love ones, quickly flying into a rage and willing to suffer through great lengths to see those that wronged them punished. Likes: More than anything, Holeman liked to eat. He was a thin boy with barely a muscle on his bones, but he could out-eat a full grown adult. He liked to eat so much that even at this early age he'd become a proficient chef; some of his dishes even being compared to some of the finest diners around the country. Holeman liked a variety of different kinds of foods from all around the world. He loved cooking dishes of food for his friends, and watching their reaction when they tried out what he'd fixed. As strange as it sounds, he loved to smell things; flowers, spices used in foods, incense, and the smell of certain cigars and herbs, but his favorite had to be girl's perfume in particular. Holeman liked the quiet. He called it his peaceful time to catch up on his own thoughts. He loved the company of his friends, the sight of them smiling, and hearing the sound of their laughter. Holeman liked to help his friends however he could, especially if he had to heal them, not to say he liked it when people got hurt. Holeman liked seeing justice done, and criminals get the punishment they deserved. Dislikes: It was a hard prospect to imagine hearing that Holeman didn't like something. Holeman wasn't the type to go looking for trouble, nor he was the type to have rivals or enemies. He was far too relaxed for that. If there was something Holeman truly didn't like it had to be loud people, loud noises, smelly people who hadn't bathed, the taste of liver, bullies, trouble makers, and people that picked on other people for their own amusement. Holeman was shown not to like it at all when his friends or family come in danger. He despised the smell of blood, and hated seeing any of his friends in pain. Motivations: Being blind was what motivated Holeman. He aimed to prove that even a blind person could be a capable Shinobi, and often spent his alone time training. Holeman wasn't at all the type to lie down and expect someone to help him because of his handicap; in fact, it was quite the opposite, as many came to him seeking assistance. He aimed to show the world that even with no sight some one could live normally, cook normally, and do things any normal person could all the same. Holeman's friends inspired him to be bigger and go beyond what any ordinary blind person could even dream of. Fears: There were certain noises that sent a chill down Holeman's back, as Holeman could hear alot of things that the ordinary human ear could not. Things that perhaps he shouldn't have heard. This is one of the reason he wore ear muffs. Some of the things he heard while sleeping would cause him to have nightmares. Holeman has been seen showing a certain uneasiness around bats, some dogs, and scorpions. The one thing Holeman was deathly afraid of and often had nightmares about was probably losing the use of one, or all of his remaining senses and being rendered dumb. History: The Holemans were once a clan of healers. If the Ninja of the village were the muscle, the Holeman had to be the ligament and tendon that held the muscle together. They loyally followed the warriors of their village into battle, supporting them and healing their wounds. Those that went into battle with a Holeman at their back were said to be nearly invincible. Over time, some of the Holemans even took to fighting themselves, learning the specializations and elements to step onto the front lines of battle. After decades of rivalry with another clan, the warriors of the Holeman clan slowly died off, and with them went most of the Holeman history. The old ways of the medics and monks are slowly forgotten, and surviving Holemans were known to be farmers, adventurers, wandering scholars, and fortune tellers because of their heightened senses. One particular pack of Holemans were familiar with the ways of the ancients, and often practiced and developed upon their Medical Skills and knowledge of the manipulation of chakra. They were descended from a long line of fortune tellers, so they were big believers in such things as evil omens and prophecies. One such prophecy told of a "Chosen One" being born into the Holeman clan that would change the direction and the fate of their people, a special child that showed abilities, prowess, and intelligence that the clan hadn't seen in centuries. The prophecy also spoke of this child developing at an abnormal rate, and told a story of how he would be born "when the sky cries and is full of furious lights." When the child was born on the day of a nasty thunderstorm, Elder Holemans thought that he could be the child of prophecy, and began to silently watch through the years. The child's parents were convinced that he was indeed the Chosen One, and simply named him "Holeman." He showed a high level of intelligence from a very early age, quickly acing some of the tests he was given flawlessly. Without any help he was able to develop his "Chakra Radar" and get around where ever he had to go with no assistance. The child even showed a proficiency in healing and a talent to molding Chakra as he saw fit. Holeman wanted to prove that a blind person could do most anything a regular person who had perfect vision could, and he first begins on this task by quickly becoming a Genin. With his best friend Mitsukai, the child engages in numerous dangerous missions far above his rank and each time comes out victorious. They become very popular in their village and rise through the ranks faster than most adults. Holeman has a falling out with the Kage that ultimately leads him and the rest of his clan to pack up and leave the desert, to re-settle within the Leaf. Several other ventures would follow, such as finding the eye of an ancient Uchiha in an underground lab, before he would be drawn into another, futuristic dimension with buildings made of metal that stretched far into the skies. However fascinating this world with no limits was, the boy couldn't help but to be drawn back to where he'd come. He finds a world far different than the one he remembered. He and Mitsukai explore a long forgotten area and discover an ancient village. They decide to re-introduce it's people to the outside world, but the village is in a cold area, which Holeman has difficulties with because of his hyper sensitive sense of touch. While Mitsukai stays behind to educate the people, he returns to Yokuchigakure. Some of the friends he made in the other world cross dimensions, and some of them seek him out. He assists them several times by healing and performing surgeries on them, even though the majority of them decide to create a criminal organization, and the man primarily responsible for it's conception, Alec Kane, engages in a short battle with the Yokuchikage; the end result being the Kage severely injured and near death. Holeman and another medic named Emiko manage to save him before he succumbs to his injuries. A Shinobi named Spook, who once lived in the now abandoned Leaf, travels to the desert to test a long forgotten technique that makes the body more powerful at the cost of bodily harm and extreme fatigue. Spook spoke of traveling off into regions unknown and offers to teach Holeman some of his techniques before leaving. He spends the next 5 years learning powerful new abilities from his long time friend and new master Spook... RP Sample: "Holeman! Who's that?" The child sat in the chair in front of the Medical Clinic & Palm Reading shop with his usual grin, sniffing the air. He felt the vibrations and sniffed the air one time as someone walked by. "That's... the lady who works in the underground springs? I can smell the water on her.""Ha ha! Ok! Who's this coming next?" Holeman sniffed the air again, feeling the vibrations of movement. "That's... one of the nurses from the hospital. She's got that hospital smell.""You're good at this! Ok, one more time, who's coming now?" The last person walked up and stood right in front of Holeman, and he grinned. Through his Chakra Radar he could also "see" that the person was smiling too. "That's too easy," he said. "That's mom."Faceclaim: Con Smith from the video game "Killer 7" random Google search
