Due to the large amounts of Ryo floating around on all of the characters, making Ryo almost pointless as a payout, and the fact that it's very hard for staff to participate in events due to having to mod the events among other things, we have established a special pay system for staff that deals with points that can be used towards certain items, jutsu, and so on and so forth. These points can be used to purchase items and the like from the set rewards list used for the majority of the events. This is to ensure that staff is on equal footing with everyone else since there is almost always an event running for the general population of the site to participate in if they choose.

Before the complaining of staff "easily" getting free stuff can start please let me explain something: the majority of the members of staff on Tales have IRL jobs, or obligations that requires them being offline for long periods of time. When they are capable of being online they spend the majority of that time modding everyone else's stuff so that the members of the site can enjoy their time, and have things done promptly. This leaves little to no time for members of staff to RP, let alone actually train jutsu - this solves that problem, allowing the members of staff to be able to enjoy the site as well, and be able to make it so everyone else can enjoy it too!

Each member of staff will be paid a base of 100 points per month for being a member of staff (this is due to staff related things outside of modding, such as answering questions in the chatbox, helping others to find links, explaining things, helping to fix up the site, ect., that cannot be easily tracked via post checking). For each day that a staff member mods they will receive an additional 10 points, allowing them to gain a complete total of 400 points in a 30 day month so long as they mod each and every day. 

Each member of staff will be responsible in tracking what days they did and did not work and having a count when it comes time for check in for paydays (though if there is a major issue, or any sort of dispute, things will be rechecked to make sure). Any member of staff proved to be dishonest during this process will be immediately removed from staff (leeway will be given for a day or two of counting wrong, this simply means if you only worked 5 days and you're trying to claim you've worked 10, 15, 20, ect., when you fully know you haven't).

The points will be updated once a month (giving staff a break in having to constantly change and keep track of who has what and why, unless a staff members chooses to update on their own). Points will be listed below and updated as the time comes so that everyone is always able to track/see what they have at all times.

Special Note: The prize pool may change at any time due to any reason. The thread will be bumped, or an update posted elsewhere to allow everyone to know. Any updates to the list will NOT affect items already purchased with points (unless that item is completely removed from the site, or other special circumstances apply).

Each member of staff may claim their free item or jutsu listed in the appropriate area (jutsu reg, or item reg) with a note that they're spending so many points for the freebie. One approved the item/jutsu will be approved/modded as needed and points will be deducted (when we can get around to it). There are no trade backs, switches, ect. Once you have chosen your prize that is what you're stuck with. While points are added only once a month you may spend your points at your own leisure, allowing them to stack up or be used as each individual sees fit, that individual is responsible, however, for letting the admins know so their points can be fixed as needed.


We will attempt (sometimes IRL gets too busy to do things on an exact day) to update new points on the last day of every month. This will be Payday for all members of Tales Staff. No points will be added on any other day unless special circumstances warrant such.
