"...Kage? Me?"

Rouga couldn't believe what he was being handed. His whole life flashed before his eyes as the newly elected village elder had basically just handed him a spot to be the ruler of a new village. Amegakure had been destroyed by a Tsunami, or so he was told while he was staying in Konohagakure which...wasn't even there either! So much had changed, the only village that remained was Yokuchigakure. It struck Rouga as a bit suspicious that every other village was destroyed but that. Was there a reason behind this or was it all simply a coincidence?

All his thoughts soon came to a halt once the village elder let out a slightly agitated groan. He was awaiting Rouga's answer and it looked as if he wasn't going to leave Rouga till he answered him. A chance to be given power? To be respected and not hated and outcast by his village? This all seemed to be too real for him to even begin to process. He was being given the chance to surpass his sensei but would that be insulting to his words? All those memories he shared with his sensei back then. He didn't want to even think of insulting his sensei but his sensei always said that if he was ever to become stronger, he was to take whatever he could get but within his principles. 
 Hell, he didn't even know if his sensei was dead or not! He didn't know if all his friends, Isao or even the previous kage was alive! He lost his father in it and his cat had died a couple of weeks before now so Rouga's mental state was more or less flushed of all thoughts and feelings. He knew he wanted to become stronger and if this was his ticket to becoming something great? Then so be it.

He raised his left hand up slowly, gripping the hat that would hereby signify him as kage. Taking a second thought of if he really wanted to go through with this, Rouga gripped it tighter and nodded to the man. This was when a new leaf was going to be turned and Rouga was going to start his new life as Kage of Denryu!

"I will accept this responsibility that has been tasked to me..."

He said simply, staring into the old man's eyes before he would nod and sigh with a breath of relief.

"Very well. From this day forth, you are the new Kage of Denryugakure! Good luck."

The white cloaked man would say before he would leave the room through some sort of ninjutsu. Most likely teleportation. Rouga stared at the hat for a good few minutes, taking in what he could from this experience. He felt more powerful as he would hold the hat and gently place it on to his azure blue hair.
 He felt like jumping off the ground, bouncing off the walls and all sorts of things but he took a moment of silence to thank everyone who had supported him through tough times. Sensei...Isao...Mr.Fluffington. Everyone. If it wasn't for them, he would never have been here. Been where he was standing in this instant.

Walking over to the windows ahead of him, this new office now his, he pushed open the wooden panes and took a deep breath of the new air and surroundings. This was going to be his greatest achievement yet. The village was filled with floating bubbles that contained air for the village to thrive on, the sea water being filtered from the sea which surrounded the village to turn into pure water. Some waterfalls were cold while others were warm. Electricity was found within the Admin building deep within the vaults, an SS-Rank Fuuinjutsu constantly supplying the village with it's power source and never running out. Constantly on guard.

Placing one foot on the edge of the window, quickly snatching up the coat of the kage in one hand, draping it over himself, Rouga pushed himself high into the air. Over bubbles he went, over the village he panned over. The wind hitting hard against his face as he would eventually land in the middle of the village, a few villagers would be startled as Rouga stood upright.

"I am the new Kage! I promise to protect you all to my dying breath! Please, accept me!"

He would plea, wanting to have their approval above all else. The villagers were sceptical at first since he was a mere child but the air was soon filled with claps and cheers from fellow people. The feeling of acceptance...made him tear slightly as he would wipe them away, not wanting to show signs of his childishness.
