Mission:

After 2 days in the bed, and then another day of doing push ups and lifting weights to force out the remainder of the pain from his encounter in the Kumo mountains, Kurai finally left the house. Back 100%, it was time to begin training for his showdown with the giant bull man. The first thing he had to do was to get stronger, and he began to go about this by taking up more jobs around the village.

He planned on avoiding his parents and his sister, but it wasn't anything against them. This was something he figured he had to do alone, and he didn't want any distractions. His parents would badger him with millions of questions, and his sister would insist that he let her go with him, and from there it would just turn into a big soap opera. No, this was something he had to do by himself. At the moment he had no clue how he'd go about it, but somewhere down the line he'd figure it out.

At the mission board, Kurai thought it best to start slow with something simple, and move up in difficulty as he completed tasks given to him. A child that lived nearby his home left her window open, and her prized pet cat got out. It depressed her since the cat was her best friend, and her parents were offering up a small reward for the cat's safe return.

Finding the animal was a simple endeavour. The cat, which had a pink ribbon tied around it's neck, was several trees over attempting to get the drop on a group of birds. Kurai quickly but gently snatched the animal after hopping from branch to branch, causing it to produce a startled meow. Just as quickly did Kurai jump back through the trees tot he girl's house. She was still sitting in the window looking pretty sad, until someone from above handed her the cat. She looked quite surprised, and looked up to see Kurai next to her window. “You found her! Thank you, mister!” she said, and Kurai nodded his head. He jumped off of the roof, headed to the mission board to get another job...
