This... was not how the ANBU wished to spend their first mission; but orders where orders. This ANBU would not fail, even if it was an extreme risk for them to even approach the shadow village of Makkura. His people where not welcome, not normally, this the ANBU understood, even if they had no personal feelings toward the antagonistic village or it's people. This ANBU would do their job. End of discussion.

Forgoing the usual ANBU standard of stealth, this ANBU merely walked the main road; slowly approaching in as least threatening of a manner as was possible; small tanto sheathed on their back and hands easily seen. They wore no cloak, merely the grey uniform and a generic mask; the mask of the initiate. They where not fully ANBU yet, a probationer as it where; still in testing and training. Enough to be a messenger, or so the commanders said. They walked, and walked, and walked until their were just outside the gate, coming to a stop without entering the village and waiting. No doubt they had been noticed; and they would wait for someone to approach before moving again. They would honorably state their mission, request permission to enter, and finish as quickly as possible, so as to reduce the stress of a Niwaurushi ANBU being in the area.

..... The fuck was this? A random masked face spotted while exploring the village. If Makkura was going to be her home then she might as well know it like the back of her hand, yes? Yes. Of course that was logical.

"You're losing your mind, Emiko...", came Shukaku's sudden voice complete with a sarcastic mental grin she could picture and a cackle to boot.

"... Too late!", she responded mentally.

She approached the masked figure with an eyebrow rose: the only sign of emotion on her face that of simple curiosity. Murderous intentions, violent instincts brewing, and the urge to crush the unknown person in a coffin made of sand was hidden behind a perfected mask. Of course, anyone with a nose would smell the blood soaked sand smell that followed Emiko around where ever she went due to the sand gourd on her back. Her headband, or rather her old Yokuchi headband, had a giant scratch through the center of it and was wrapped around the clock that wound around her chest and which held her gourd: as if it were something to be proud of - and in truth she was proud she had left Yokuchi.

"Somethin' I can help you with?", she asked in a monotone voice while her eyebrow remained raised. Arms folded across her chest and she kept at least fifteen feet worth of distance between herself and the masked persona. The sand within her gourd stirred quietly: she could almost feel it begging to be let out and used.

Oh, good; someon-... dear Gods in the heavens above; it was the Jinchuuriki from Yokuchi. And she was rouge now? Lovely... just... lovely. "This ANBU requests audience with a leader of this village, in order to gain temporary admittance. This ANBU must deliver several messages to people of and staying within the village of Makkura. Peaceful entry is requested, as is a guide. Complete compliance with all rules and stipulations to complete this task will be adhered to."

Robotic, much?

Emiko didn't budge: in fact, she was much like a door in the sense that she continued to stand between the ANBU trying to get into the village and the village itself. She really had no intentions of bothering Junior, Alec, or anyone else for that matter if she could help it. In fact, the urge to just crush the ANBU to death because she was bored and it sounded like a good idea, was growing within her.

"Huh... I see." Her eyebrow finally lowered, curiosity disappearing off her face as it was replaced with a mask of complete calm and nothing else. "Who are said messages to?" Yup, she was totally ignoring the request for an audience with a leader of the village right now. If the messages weren't to a important enough person then she wasn't going to bother anyway: though, she was damned sure that at least two people within the village already knew of the ANBU's arrival. 

"Come on, crush him! Do it. You know you want to. Crush him! Crush him! Crush him!", Shukaku chanted in her skull, and for a moment she amused herself with picturing him in a giant cheerleaders uniform. ".... If killing you wasn't counter productive to my survival I'd do it...."

Right. So, this would likely be the best they got, then? It was... doable. "Messages are carried for Aella Uchiha-Inuzuka, Amaya Uchiha, and Alec Kane. The messages to Aella Uchiha-Inuzuka and Amaya Uchiha are of a personal nature, I have no knowledge of their contents. The Message for the leader of The Dark is of a verbal nature that can be relayed to anyone of high enough ranking that will take it to him personally; so as to reduce time spent in violation of Makkura's sovereign borders."

His next movements where simple, slow, and to the point; a simple reach for the exposed pouch at his waste followed by the click of the catch and retrieval of two different scrolls, each stamped with the paw print of the Inuzuka clan's seal. Held upward to show the sealed scrolls plainly, "As stated before, this ANBU requests only to finish the task assigned to them. Nothing more."

Emiko watched very carefully as the ANBU reached for the exposed pouch and then removed two scrolls which were stamped with a paw print; figuring those were said messages to Aella and Amaya. She knew Aella to be in the village, but not Amaya: though she had been informed of where the female was likely headed when she had spoken to Dezzy the evening prior to discuss skills.

Emiko was technically family to Alec, and thus she figured she was 'high enough' up there to receive said message to then give over to him: that was if he wasn't somewhere nearby listening anyway. "I'll take Alec Kane's message to him myself.", she said in response to the verbal message the ANBU had spoken of.

She then nodded her head towards the scrolls. "Far as those go... Amaya Uchiha is no longer in the village. She dropped the child, Aella, off in the Tower and then after speaking of finding her daughter, Aisling, in ol' Konoha she took off and hasn't been seen since. Aella...", Emiko suddenly stopped, the scent of puppy, sugar, and... what she assumed was a panda cub reaching her nose and growing stronger - the child had likely over heard what was going on and had come to investigate. "... is on her way over here, now."

Emiko's stance shifted, she didn't like the idea of Aella being over here by this ANBU because she didn't know or trust 'em, so she was prepared for anything.

Aella, who had been walking nearby slowly and steadily had heard her name. So, she had turned her attention towards the voices, noticing that one voice belonged to Emiko, and wandered over. She looked to the mask individual that Emiko was speaking to and came up to a stop next to the female. She slipped her hand in Emiko's, half of her body hidden behind the female as she peered around her. 

"Who're you...and why're you talking about me?", she asked curiously as she looked to the scrolls and noticed the paw print: a message from an Inuzuka she was sure of it. "Is that for me?", she asked as she pointed to the scrolls.

The only reaction given to this was a simple nod and the returning of the scroll meant for Amaya to the pouch from which it was retrieved; "The message for Aella Uchiha-Inuzuka will be delivered first; it was stressed to this ANBU that it is of greater importance than the others. Please understand the delay. The message for Kane will be delivered as soon as Aella Uchiha-Inuzuka has received hers."

The ANBU had just finished speaking when the girl arrived and began asking questions; the attention of the ANBU turning to her before shifting to face her. "I bring you a message from the Hakage." Simple as that, no emotion, no nothing else. The ANBU merely placed the sealed scroll on the road between them and backed away; approaching the child would likely cause a reaction from the Jinchuuriki, and that was not part of the mission.

Content of the scroll:

Attention returning to the elder female, "The message for Kane is as follows: "Keep her safe." End of message." The ANBU would wait a moment, to see if a response was needed from the child, then they would leave as quickly as possible; preferring to end this without trouble if at all possible.

Emiko watched as the ANBU moved forward, placed the message on the ground about halfway to the child, and then backed back up. Smart move, very smart move. It was the sort of smart move that was going to have Emiko allowing him to leave without his arms crushed beyond repair. However, even with the ANBU backed up she still watched carefully to make sure that Aella stayed safe: though, she wouldn't read the message over her shoulder of course. It was a message for Aella, and if she wanted to share it then she would. Otherwise, it was her business.

She listened to the message for Alec and then gave a nod. It was simple, short, and something Alec was going to do regardless of being told. Hell, it was something everyone was going to do. "I'll make sure he gets it.", she said in response before waiting to see if Aella was going to respond to her message before the ANBU left.

Aella watched the ANBU curiously, tilting her head to the side. It didn't escape her the reasons behind the ANBU not actually trying to hand the message to her. Aella had heard many stories of the things Emiko did to people, and given Emiko was acting as a bodyguard right now to her? She could only imagine what would happen to anyone who got too close that wasn't considered Aella's family right now.

She wandered up to the scroll, picked it up, and then returned to Emiko's side before she could be really missed. She opened the scroll and read the message within it with a frown. Hiroyuki was... apologizing. She hadn't expected that. She had expected him to be angry that Amaya had stolen her away without anyone's permission. Angry that Aella had remained in Makkura even though she was better - though, she didn't know if Hiroyuki knew she was better or not.

Before the ANBU could disappear she pulled out a piece of paper and using Emiko much like a flat surface, or a table, she wrote a quick message:

Don't be sad. I'm all better now. Dezzy was able to cure me within five minutes of me being here and each time she checks my blood it comes up clear: the sickness isn't there anymore. She says it's not door-mat (dormant) like it used to be, it's just completely gone. Amaya's not here anymore, she left to go find Aisling I guess: something about cloning people had to stop.
I'm going to stay here until I can get really, really strong then I'll come home and show you everything I can do. With how strong everyone is here I don't think that will take very long!

She signed her name with a heart and then poked Emiko. "Dun attack him.. I'mma give this to him.", she said before walking over and handing over the letter which she had folded along the way. "Give that to Hiroyuki please.", she said before she returned to Emiko's side. "I'm feeling tired, I'm going to go back inside...", she said before she walked off.

The ANBU took the response with a short nod; stashing it in the pouch with the other one to be returned to the village. No movements where made beyond that until Aella had moved away, and even then it was a bowing of the ANBU's head in respect to them both. "This ANBU has completely their duty. Permission to leave peacefully is requested."

Emiko blinked as she was used as a makeshift table while Aella scribbled a reply to whatever the message had said: she didn't mind of course, the faster she got it done the quicker she could get the child away from this masked ANBU. Her sand rose up around the child, swirling protectively around her as she neared the ANBU, but otherwise did nothing - something there on a just in case basis since Aella had felt it necessary to go near the man. When the child turned and walked past her and towards the Tower the sand returned to Emiko's gourd and she focused fully on the ANBU once more.

She gave a nod to the ANBU that he could leave. "Go for it... " She still had the urge to kill the guy but knew that would be counter-productive to Aella being able to send her own message: and she figured that it must've been pretty important to Aella for her to respond as quickly as she had.
