Right after leaving his home at some remote volcano mountain, Mikado went to land of ice; following the map his father gave. He said that there is a hidden ninja village in that land, the village called Korigakure. He told Mikado that he once visit that village few times ago; to find some good materials for his creation. Mikado then following his father guide and intended to become ninja from that village. He walked through some frozen way; his fullmetal armor that covering his whole body and large cloth he used as robe is warm enough to protect his body from the cold. In his back, he is carrying a wooden box; filled with his belongings and some weapon his father's made for sale.

He arrive at that land's edge and found an old man with thick clothes waiting in his small wooden ship. "Going to Hinowa, mister iron?", he said. His face cannot be seen since his fur-made cape covering his head and face. Mikado should be glad and accept the offering, but he obviously not going to Hinowa since Kori is his destination. "No, old man. I'm going to Korigakure. Which way heading there? The map said that it should be around here, but i'm only seeing water, snow and ice.", asked him after realized he is lost.

That old man stood up and pat his back before explaining things. "Korigakure is history, kiddo. This sea-sized lake was once Korigakure. That place no more than just a pile of stones now.", he said. Mikado seems to shock about that and wondering what has happened to that village. He tries to asked that old man; but he replied, "I don't know exactly what was happened. I'm just a ferryman, kiddo! You better come up into my boat. I'll take you to Hinowa; That village now a way far better place for living then Korigakure. If you are lucky; you'll met the village council, they are the one in charge for developing Hinowa." Mikado agreed with that old man idea and get into the boat. The boat shaking and almost sinking due to his armor weight, but gladly it didn't.

They are move in the middle of some kind of river, the scenery surrounded by huge black volcanic mountain. Mikado keep guessing about what happened with this land. The place once called land of ice now changed into humongous field of volcano mountain; he feels like going nowhere. The surrounding volcano mountains make he feels just like come back home.

That small boat reclining in the dock. After paying the transportation bill; Mikado continue his journey by walking. Not far from that place, he saw an ethnic gate; behind that gate, a big and beauty hidden village reside. He walks to the gate while enjoying the beauty scenery; in his mind, he thought that maybe become a ninja from a place like this isn't bad at all. He walks confidently and hope someone would appear from behind that gate so he can asked to meet the council to joining this beautiful village.

Mikado walks approaching the ethnic gate. Right in front of the gate, there is someone noticing him. That man wearing a worker's suit and holding a hammer with several nails. That man running quickly to Mikado direction. "Who are you, stranger? There is so much trouble in the village. No weirdo like you is allowed!", he said while standing astride and pointing his index finger to Mikado. That man seems angry about something Mikado don't know. Mikado just standing still in his place, his eyes staring straight at that man while his mouth remain silent.

"If you can't explain who you are then I had no choice than use my mighty hammer to crush you down!", he put out his working hammer and swing it to Mikado's direction. Without saying any word or try to stop the hammer, Mikado protrude his hand to the front. Showing his palm in front of that man face. Then he said, "I don't understand even a single thing you've been said. But i'm here from far away to joining the village. From what i heard from my father, this place should be covered with snow and ice." That man shows confused expression and finally put down his hammer but keep shouting to Mikado. "I'm not stupid, you fools! If you had no evil plan on Hinowa than why you come with that weird armor!?". Mikado looks troubled to explaining the things to him, but he decide that its necessary to gain trust from the village first before joining. "I was born physically weak and my father was a weapon technician from Hana, so he gave me his armor creation to barely make me survive this harsh world... Oh, and my father also left me a letter for Korigakure's shinobi; can you please take me to Korikage's office?", he said while trying to get some help from that anger man. Actually, he was a little bit annoyed by that man's doing but he decide to bear with it, since he need to find the office soon.

That man started to think about something. He frowning and propped both of his hand in his waist, then he begin to mumbling about something "There was a hard days passed by this village once known as Korigakure. Some psychotic criminals came in and burned the whole village to ashes. There is nothing we can do. The village you see before your eyes now is standing above the ruin of Korigakure. Many Korigakure's soldier dying protecting their beloved village, one of them is my son... Anyway, this village is nothing but a newborn baby. There is no threat from this village to the other countries; so i thought there is no reason for any spy came in. I believe you this once and take you to the office but if you try to betray me and this village. I will face you by my self." Then he turning his body back to the village direction and walking without looking to Mikado. He keeps mumbling about something nonsense while leading the way to the village office.

Mikado remain silent while following that man. He keep wondering what happened to the rest of the world while he being isolated. Lost in his thought, they suddenly arrive at the Hinowa office. Like the gate and the buildings, this office also resemble an ethical village. There is so many people here going back and forth. Seems like the rebuilding of the village really an urgent matter. That anger man that leading Mikado to the office trying to explain Mikado situation to the front officer. "This armored guy came from far away to give a hand to Hinowa. He has his father recommendation letter." then Mikado give the letter he had to the officer. That officer open the envelope and reading the sentences. That officer asking some question and answered by Mikado as necessarily. "Alright, since we need more hands in works and you looks like strong. I'll register you to the village and make sure we can keep in contact or track you down if you do something bad to the village.", said the officer while writing his registration form. Mikado feel uneasy with the village situation since there is so many people act anxious and worrisome in here. After saying his thanks to the anger man and the officer, Mikado quickly left the office to take a look at the village. Hoping he can meet someone or doing something as soon as possible. Money comes to the hardest worker though...
