The carmel skinned ninja walked towards the gates of the village. It was time for her to go and try to get stronger for her village. With all the incoming ninja of extreme power that were new to the land, she was becoming less useful by the minute. Her expression showed determination and her body language showed strength as she exited the village. She had to stay relevant. How else would she protect her adopted family? Looking back one last time, she nodded with words that were honest. "I'll be back soon. I will be stronger and better for you." It was was a promise that she was comfortable with making. Her will was something that could not be shaken, regardless of the obstacles. 

With those words spoken, she turned and darted off into the distance. Memories of her looking through scrolls in the library flooded back to her mind. The power that she seeked lied in Kumogakure. She read of legendary bats that granted miraculous powers to those who proved strong enough. She would be strong enough. She would prove her worth to these sages so that she could protect Alec, Jr, Dez, and the many citizens of Makkuragakure. 

After what seemed like just a few hours, the blur of speed that was Hanako started to slow down. The mountains that she had been staring at, grew closer and she was entering the land of lighting. The air changed and the scenery along with it. It was time to start her quest.
