Kaia-Mai had been thinking a lot over the phoenix sealed within Junior and the power that such a thing would likely grant someone like that. So, after she had finished her Taijutsu training and had had dinner at home, she had taken off to the local library where she had poured herself over book after book searching for anything that would give her a clue as to where she could look for such a chakra beast.

Eventually she had found little tid bits about a phoenix known for blowing things up and the use of explosion release. Kaia-Mai had heard of such a release, and had wanted to learn it when she got strong enough, so a beast capable of such a thing would surely come in handy. She had gathered up as much information as she could from the books available and then set out to explore.

She knew she wouldn't find such a creature inside of the village and so she headed further out, to the outskirts and beyond. She was careful as she went, not wanting to run into anything far more powerful than her and risk getting herself eaten. So she watched where she stepped and was careful to make sure she kept the noise down. Onward she pressed, going deeper and deeper until she reached some cliffs that looked like part of the local mountain range. She tilted her head back and saw up towards the top a strange colored nest. The whole thing seemed to be smoking however the smoke wasn't black or gray like normal smoke; it was orange and red. However, the thing was empty for now.

With a location in mind she headed back to Makkura to go do some more research and get better prepared. If this was the home of the phoenix she was searching for, and if the thing planned on fighting her if she couldn't befriend it another way, then she was either going to need some back up or learn what the thing was weak to so she didn't get herself barbecued or blown up into little recognizable bits.
