General Description: Karmine is a small framed person with short unkempt black hair and usualy has a stern look on his face as though he is always assessing things around him, he has a scar running through his right eye and several more all across his torso from his past. Though these scars show no sign of fading, they don't hinder him too much now except without a large amount of stress on his body. he wears a black leather jacket with a white shirt underneath and a black and white scarf. The bottom half of Karmine adorns loose cream trousers held in place by a belt with thick black boots on his feet




Personality: A relatively stoic and withdrawn being, Karmine tends to assess people who make contact with him making somewhat prejudice but with appropriate reason behind it. Usually adorned with a stern look on his face people sometimes feel uneasy around him, though this tends not to bother him as he doesn't enjoy the company of others. Whether he is in or out of combat he plays it passive assessing his situation before making a move of some sort, because of this he is a strong tactician and has a large amount of patience. Due to his slight prejudice nature he has a negative opinion on people before he has even gotten to know them and waits for them to prove him wrong, though he tends to play things passively and avoids feuds remaining neutral when holding conversations with others keeping his contact with people as short as possible. Despite all this he is capable of being friendly with others as shown by his trust and slightly happier nature when communing with his small companion that he has had with him since he was of a very young age, which is his closest friend and generally the only being he currently trusts with all his faith


Likes: Karmine enjoys spending time with his long time companion who is his closest friend, his little Snowl accompanies him anywhere and everywhere whether it be a trip to the store, a walk around town or going on a mission. The two are inseparable. He likes to practice his family's tradition of blacksmithing despite being a mostly self taught total novice, he finds it fun to draft and make various items. Karmine also enjoys the practice of culinary arts, again despite being a novice at it he still enjoys making food for himself and his companion. His favorite food to cook and eat is Cha Siu Bao, and he also has a keen taste for sweet foods. When he is highly stressed Karmine enjoys taking long walks around the village to take his mind off of things and calm himself down.


Dislikes: Due to his slight prejudice Karmine generally dislikes talking or for that fact being in the presence of other people except his small companion. He dislikes being hasty and rushing things too quickly without rational thought to the situation, he also hate being in awkward situations especially ones he could of avoided entirely. He hates it when people are being picked on or bullied but doesn’t really care enough to go out of his way to take care of the problem. Karmine dislikes anything bitter in taste and especially dislikes any form of vegetable which some people view as quite a childish prospect


Motivations: His motivation is simple, who killed his parents. And why? He usually has a passive nature thought the thought of this memory makes his skin crawl, his bones shiver and his blood boil with rage. There is no doubt about it, he wants to have revenge and he wants it by his own hands. He knows all too well that an eye for an eye makes the world blind but that doesn’t matter to him as long as he can feel satisfied and at peace once more inside. One day he well find them and he will bury them, but until that day he trains to grow stronger so he can ultimately end their existence


Fears: Though he tries not to show it Karmine has many fears some of which run deep into his soul. He is too scared to trust other people incase they try to do what happened to him and his family all that time ago, He has also developed nyctophobia though it is not so much the dark itself but what could be lurking in the dark that frightens him. He tries to sleep with a source of illumination on at night so he can still see his surroundings if he has too. The fear he developed of people is what spawned his irrational prejudice for them



History:

From a young age Karmine always admired his father and how he was considered the best blacksmith amongst his family, he hoped one day he would grow into one just as good if not a better blacksmith in not just his family but his whole country. when he was 7 years of age he Karmine was given his life companion, the young snowl just recently hatched from an egg, a family tradition he has been assigned to carry on. In just a few more years he will be ready for his Father to teach him how to forge items from steel but first a name for his new companion, “Chip” yeah, that sounds good he decides.




His day arrives and by age 12 Karmine’s Father felt him ready to be taught that ways of the family, he was first to watch while his Father worked before reenacting it himself. Something simple to start with, a small short sword. His father worked efficiently and diligently , and the young trainee Shuken and his partner Chip watch as he makes the steel obey his command, forming into the sword that was desired. With excitement in his eyes Karmine began his own attempt, a small while later he sat with bandages wrapped over his fingers in which he had managed to burn and a small poorly made sword in front of him. One that would shortly break with some use, Karmine felt disappointed but his Father was proud.




A few months down the line, a now 13 Karmine had spent that evening at a restaurant with his family for his birthday as they all began to make their way home cruel fate was in store for him as in the dark streets his family was mugged. A quick attack left his parents butchered and Karmine fatally wounded, a young Chip attempted to find help knocking door to door for what felt like hours but to not much avail. After some time someone saw urgency in the young bird and hastily followed him to the location of the Shuken, Karmine’s eyes felt heavy, and before long he blacked out.


Karmine awoke, lazily from his slumber in a  hospital bet. He had been out cold for a few days, his body wrapped tightly in gauze. He cringed as he moved the wounds causing him much discomfort, but he smiled when he found young Chip in the corner. A medical nin comes into the room, and gives him the bad news. The young Shuken’s world crumbled around him, he was all alone now, left to fend for himself. Chip snuggles up close to him reminding him he isn’t as alone as he thought, Karmine lived together with his companion for 3 years the sadness he felt become a void in his heart only filled with hate and a desire for revenge masked by a stoic withdrawn outer shell.





RP Sample: Karmine stared intently off into the distance, watching the people of the city move about their day. Merchants sold their goods to the people of the streets and kids laughed and played, couples accompanied each other hand in hand. The day seemed to just tick by as the young Shuken lay on his houses roof top his hand folded behind his head, he didn’t feel like doing anything today. There was just something about this day in particularly that made him feel like avoiding doing anything, some would call it procrastination but he preferred to just call it distressing.


He let out a hefty sigh, he was out of milk regardless and sitting on the roof wasn’t getting him any. With a stretch and a yawn he jumped off the roof top startling some people as he landed, little Chip repeated his owners movements and slid down carefully himself waddling behind Karmine as he wandered down the streets

Alright, this is pretty good overall. If you're going to claim a KKG ability, you're going to need to create the clan that goes with it. As for your pet, you'll have to app him as an item, not with your character sheet. You start with 2 elements, not one; and if your pet is going to have Water, that's going to lock one of your elements to water as well. It doesn't necessarily have to be your primary/secondary, but eventually you will have to take water to have a pet with water.

It's up to you if you want to take Taijutsu still or not; I just didn't want you to waste the slot if you wanted to put something else there. Up to you~

It's fine, thanks for the heads up. I feel that the clan would train themselves a little more in Taijutsu in case of situations where they have no metal or are disarmed and have to resort to hand to hand combat
