Ah Denryu. What a lovely village. The people of the village walking around with both happiness and smiles along their faces, their children giggling as they play fought with each other; pretending to fire balls of fire at each other. Awh, how cute. Rouga's expressionless face soon turned into a smile that would resemble a fathers kindred love for his children. Rouga was finally content with his life, having achieved more than what he ever wanted to in life, but something was missing. Something that he just couldn't put his finger on. What was it? It wasn't acceptance, it wasn't the feeling of being alone...or was it?

He simply shrugged it off. No time to be thinking on the negatives in life. His people had finally accepted him and he was now treated like a person. No rain ever entered the village, unless the Kage willed it. Just 12 hours of sun and 12 hours of night. If the people wanted rain, the Kage footered with the protective seal. If the people wanted fresh crops and livestock, the Kage would either send ANBU or himself out to gather for them. He went out of his way, day in and day out, just to keep his people happy. Some people said he maybe worked too much, but that was the job of a kage.

Smiling, he turned from the corner that he had been leaning on this whole time, and entered the training dome. It'd been fully refurbished and done up. No faults. It was a good, hefty height and good length for it. There was a gym, spa and even a spot for ninja to practice small, non-lethal jutsu. Mainly used for training though. Not many ninja practised jutsu, in fear of hurting someone. Rouga stood there, smiling at what he, the village elder and a shit load of workmen were able to achieve.

"It feels good to finally have everything...mostly everything..."

He said happily, a small sigh of sadness trailed along near the end as he rubbed his left arm with his right hand, arm crossed over across his chest. Who knew what today had in store for him.

Isao walked intently through the village as he looked for someone in particular. He had no idea where he would be, but he just wanted to chill for the moment. He had been quite busy the past few days and needed some laughter desperately. He his head turned left and right in search of Rouga, who wasn't in the office when he checked. He turned the corner of a building and spotted him walking in the Training Dome.

He immediately headed that way, about 10 meters behind him in length. He entered the threshold of the building with a burst as he headed for Rouga. He could either walk in like a normal person, or speed in like a ninja. Of course, he would do the latter for the sake of entertainment. In a moments notice, Isao was standing beside Rouga with a smirk. "Lord Denryukage" He said holding back laughter to see if he scared the man, which he doubted.

Rouga felt a rush of cold air fly into and around him, causing his long locks of dark blue and purple hair to float in the wind as his baggy cotton robes flapped around him. Huh? What was that about? Did someone burp or release an earth shattering fart? Rouga felt the need to turn around instantly and back hand the person that caused such a scene in public, several children and adult all shitting bricks from the shock and surprise, but for some reason, he just stood there and stared straight ahead at the smooth, varnished wooden walls.

And then he would feel the presence of the culprit beside him, a voice which struck a nerve in his body; sending a sensation of happiness through him, but had he intended to frighten the Kage? Had he taken into account that he nearly gave several people a heart attack? Rouga's head slowly turned to the side, gloden eyes piercing into the man's as a small devilish smile grew on his face. Rouga's voice shaking and somewhat..evil. Almost as if he were possessed by some sort of demonic presence.

"Did you...intend this?"

Rouga grunted, the smile still plastered on his face, looking as if it started on one side and stretched all the way along as his eyes shook like crazy, resembling that of a killers. His voice was shaky and somewhat high. Rouga distorted his body back into a crab-like walk but he didn't hold himself up. He just bent backward and twisted his waist round the opposite way till he was looking up at the man.

"Did you...PLAN TO HURT ME!?"

He screamed, his voice echoing throughout the dome as his crazy smile snapped wide open as he lunged for the man, wrapping his arms around his waist and pinning him to the ground. Once Rouga had firmly placed the man on the ground, he shimmied his way up the man's body before sitting on him and holding his wrists down to the ground. One in each of his hands. Rouga smiled as he made himself comfortable on the man, blushing slightly when he noticed where he was sat.

"So Isao, do I win this round?"

He asked, smiling down at the childhood friend, Rouga's hair trailing off of his shoulders while the ends rested on Isao's face.

Isao held back a chuckle as he focused on keeping a straight face. He didn't have too for long as his expression went to immediate laughter when Rouga started tripping out. "You sure do like to put on a show." He said smiling before Rouga started doing bad attempts at exorcism poses. Directly after, he tackled Isao to the ground, sitting on him in an odd way. Did he win? Isao never became scared once. "Not quite, Rouga." He said as he laughed a little more before actually getting serious for a second. "Why are you straddling me?" He asked with curiosity as he realized exactly how it looked. He knew that Rouga was gay, but the thought that a guy could like him never crossed his mind.

He moved to get up, allowing Rouga to get off of him before standing back up and brushing himself off. "I'm bored, want to grab some food or something?" He asked as his stomach growled slightly in response to his question.

What? He didn't win? Rouga's face went from a happy child to a sad puppy, eyes glistening as he rolled off of Isao and next to him. This boob was pushing his friend privileges! Good thing the Kage was as harmful as a teddy bear. Rouga turned his head and then his body, slightly dragging it half on Isao's chest, smiling at him calmly.

"Cause I can!"

He giggled as he pushed himself up off of Isao and back to his feet, patting away any dirt that may have latched on to him while he abused his friend. A gentle and smooth hand then stretched down to aid his friend to his feet. It would have been rude not to, but Isao seemed to already have gotten up while Rouga already extended his kindness. Fumes exited from his ears as Rouga stomped on the ground like a child, puffing up his cheeks and holding his breath like a kid would when having a tantrum.

"Food? Food sounds good, but first..."

Rouga said happily as he took a step back, drawing his chakra to loosely float around before sucking it back in and lunging at Isao with a snap-shot punch straight to his abdomen, ready to avoid any attack that he had at the ready for the Kage.

"Fisticuffs fight!"

Isao just laughed at the antics of his long time friend. He was certainly a vibrant person. "What kind of.." That was all he could get out before Rouga went in for a punch. Isao side-stepped the attack and chuckled a bit, hoping that the lack of balance would cause Rouga to fall down. "Fisticuffs fight?" He asked not knowing what that was. Was this some new fad "the kids" were doing now? 

"Now like I was saying, what kind of food do you want?" He asked knowing that Rouga liked to make decisions like that. Isao wasn't very picky, so it didn't matter to him.

Dodged. Only to be expected from the Kage's right hand man after all! Rouga followed through, his fist soon turning flat out, palm against the ground as he would vault forward and onto his feet before turning back round to follow through with yet another set of attacks; a combo more less with three punches and a kick to the abdomen!

"Fisticuffs first! Food later!"

He'd shout with a smile on his face as he jumped back and away from the friend. Well...maybe not fighting now. Rouga had a order in Hana to collect. A pointless endeavour indeed, but it was worth it, considering what this order was capable of doing. It was sent to Hana in an attempt to restore it back to it's full health, after the years of neglect it went through during the destruction of Ame.
 Rouga stood there for a moment, contemplating, before slapping his hands together and running towards Isao, arms open wide for a hug!

"Isao!! Lets go on a trip instead!!"

He shouted as he lunged for the friend head-on, the people and ninja in the dome giving the two funny looks like this wasn't a normal thing.

Isao continued to chuckle at his comrade who was so unique in personality. At times he could be child-like, and at times is the serious kage that everyone loves. He was quite a character. Isao was prepared to dodge again, but suddenly, Rouga pulled back. After thinking a few minutes, the kage proceeded to run at Isao with arms stretched out for an embrace. Isao sighed and waited on him to leap at him. "Sure!" He said when he caught Rouga without moving. He was surprised at his own strength, but didn't let it show. "When do we leave? " He asked as he awkwardly hugged his 'bro'.

Rouga felt the man's embrace as he landed on him, Isao holding both them up. Good thing too! If they'd have fallen, Rouga would have thought he was getting fatter which would have led Rouga to starve himself and do nothing but train for the next couple of weeks and no doubt, Isao would have been the one trying to fatten him by injecting his food with...well, food. Only god knows that they would be getting themselves into soooo much trouble, the village elder might turn round and back hand them both and no one messed with the elder.

Looking up at his friend, Rouga got back to his feet as he turned away from Isao, a smile growing on his face.

"I think we should leave after we get something to eat! I'm kinda hungry! C'mon! Dinner's on me!"

He shouted as he slowly skipped away, egging Isao to shift his butt and to get a move on! The White Sands would be a nice place to go and have something to eat. The place usually had stands and small restaurants open this time of day, since it was right next to a beach. Plus, Rouga wanted to pay his respects to someone near there anyway so it'd be killing two birds with one stone. Wondering if they were even alive, since the body could not be found.

"C'mon~!"

"Sounds good to me!" Isao said with a smile as he followed Rouga, catching up with him and walking side by side. They continued to walk through the village until they reached The White Sands. Isao immediately started looking around for something good to eat. "You pay, you choose." He said to Rouga as he looked at all the choices available. He wasn't good a picking places to eat, so he always let Rouga choose.

So Rouga got to choose, eh? That all seemed like such an effort. Yet again, if Rouga were to object, Isao would simply stick to what he had said before until Rouga picked first. God damn it. Rouga wasn't too sure if Isao was doing this to see how much he was allowed to spend of Rouga's money. Which, by the way, all items were expensive, but that was besides the point. Sighing, Rouga took a step back and stroked his chin, wondering, pondering what to buy. His eyes scanning the menu in front of him like it was written in another language.

"I guess I'll go for..."

He said to himself quizzically, eyes narrowing as they toggled between one of two choices.

"I'll have the fish platter with a side order of fries. Oh, and a bottle of sake please!"

Rouga pleaded, raising his right hand into the air like the child that he was. He'd never even drank sake before so...why not? Plus, if he didn't like it, he could always hand it off to Isao in an attempt to ditch it. He turned his head to Isao, a smile on his scrunched up face before prodding him on the right shoulder.

"Don't hold back. It's on me!"

OOC: Sorry for late reply. Also, lets just say we got to a stand or something.

Isao chuckled yo himself as he watched Rouga's expressions. The kage was known for his dramatic personality, and it showed with something as simple as picking good. "I won't" Isao said before looking the menu over once more. "I'd like the Mahi Mahi with rice and some tea please. Surprise me with the flavor." Isao stated before looking back to Rouga. "I told you I wouldn't hold back." He added as he pointed to the price of his food and laughing. If he didn't know that Rouga had the money, he wouldn't do such a thing. However, he knew that ryo was something that his friend had plenty of, so it didn't bother him.

The bastard.

He deliberately went for the most expensive meal on the menu and gave off a cocky smile to Rouga, before adding in the fact that he wasn't going to hold back. Bastard. Rouga had already played the scenario through his head countless times as he spoke out the order; the thought of him killing Isao in a million ways, but Rouga was going to keep his cool infront of Isao and not give him the pleasure of seeing him in distress. So he simply nodded and smiled back.

"Good! I was hoping you wouldn't."

LIES, LIES AND MORE LIES! 

Rouga had to put soo much willpower into not forcing himself in killing his friend. The bitch really knew how to press Rouga's bad buttons. Did he not know that Rouga had a temper when played with? It was as if all those years of growing up together, was just suddenly thrown out the window by a retarded potato.
 Rouga reluctantly handed over the money to the many as he sat and awaited for his meal to come to him, the bottle of Sake and Pot of Tea was soon brought over, Rouga uncorking the lid and taking a whiff.

He felt his face shrink and concave INTO his skull as the smell was overpowering, his eyes watering slightly. Smiling, he poured a small amount in the cup that had been provided for him, letting it sit there as he mustered up the courage to down it in one.

"So, how's life been treatin' you old friend?"

He asked politely, his golden eyes lighting up as a white smile greeted Isao's gaze.

If Isao had learned anything over the years of being Rouga's comrade, it was how to push the young man's buttons. He knew that he had to burning up inside, which made the victory all the sweeter for Isao. He gave a grin to Rouga as he paid, rubbing it in a little further. He knew Rouga's limits though, as his friend did have a fiery temper despite living in a land surrounded by water. The drinks were brought quickly, and Strafe poured himself a cup of tea. He watched his long time friend's reaction the liquor, which made him chuckle a bit. Sake was quite a strong drink, so it wasn't easy to just down. "Good for the most part. Taking care of the big tasks and such is my usual routine." He said with a polite smile as he took a sip of his tea. "How about you, besides being Kage and all?" He asked earnestly, as Rouga always gave the best answers. He was full of life and fun, which was almost a polar opposite from Isao at times.

Deciding that it was about time to take a swig of the sake to stop Isao's amusement, Rouga quickly and forcefully threw the liquid down his throat and swallowed, awaiting the pain that was about to come. Nothing. Absolutely nothing. It had a kick, making Rouga cough slightly, but other than that, it was rather nice to drink. Finding this odd, he took another few swigs, coughing or burping each time. Smiling, Rouga blinked at Isao and went "Neener neener neeeneeeer!" in a childish manner. Safe to sake, the sake was working.

Isao spoke and Rouga turned to face infront of him, clasping his hands together and placing them gently on his lips, thinking deeply. "Good, Isao. It's nice to know you're doing your job." He said happily before letting out a small sigh, taking one more swig of sake. He turned to look at Isao, only slightly, before giving him an odd stare. "I've been doing some research on myself. Something's been troubling me lately. The results just keep getting more and more hazier." He said in a low, monotone voice before making full eye contact with Isao, sitting up right with his right arm supporting him via the bench. "Isao, when you have the time, I'd like for you to make a full document of yourself. Blood type, height, weight, history of yourself and your family etc. Our records were lost during the destruction of Amegakure." He said, stopping at the end as he rubbed his forehead. Images of Ame flooded into his mind, along with the Kage and Sensei.

"I'm launching an expedition soon, to surface up to the ruins of Ame. I want to see if our records are still there." He said once again. His hope for the records being intact were very slim, and it wouldn't surprise him if Isao was sceptical himself. Rouga had no idea on his history or family. He needed to make sure since...certain changes, had been messing with Rouga's body. The changes were more or less side effects of these strange becomings.

Isao nodded at the man's request, understanding the importance of having records. All kinds of odd things happen in the shinobi world, so it would be best to have them. "Absolutely, I would be happy to go with you on the trip as well." Isao offered as he always did. He enjoyed going on missions with the Kage, as he knew the man always had his back. "If you don't mind me asking, what is it thats bothering you? Two heads are better than one." He added as he watched the expressions on his friends face. The perks of having known someone this long were nice, especially in a situation like this.
