Mission Taken - Mailman!:

Hikari had got to know a lot of people in the short time since her and her family had moved to the village; and she had got to know her way around pretty well. Where sight left her handicap, scents and smells helped her to always know where she was. Each part of the village was unique after all, and that and her Shinsai was all she needed her. It was nice really, to be able to go out from the house and not worry about having someone escorting her around, or worry about some sort of trouble coming her way.

This was all why she was more than prepared to take this newest mission; she got to play Mailman, or mail-woman she supposed. The real one was sick and needed a day to rest, and she was more than willing to help. She was saving up all of the ryo she was getting from these in case her family needed some help; and to help buy herself a Bo staff - she had wanted one for a while now, and it would double as a walking stick in case for some reason Shinsai failed her.

She had the letters in hand already and the directions to each location memorized in her mind. Xan would be first, followed by Lee, and then finally Miz. The letters were in the proper order to make it easier for her to accomplish her task, and she wasn't about to let them get all mixed up.

She headed down the first street - these people didn't live very far away from each other. Using Shinsai she worked her way up the street; counting the number of house she could sense until she got to the seventh one. She turned up the walk way, carefully went up the few steps, and up to the door. She knocked softly and waited for the door to be answered. Xan was an elderly man with a cane, and as he reached the door and poked his head out he spoke. "Hello, maybe I help you, child?"

Hikari held out the envelope that she knew to be his. "This is for you, sir. The mailman is sick today, he asked me to cover his route." Xan took it with a polite thank you and closed the door. Kouki headed back down the steps, continuing down the street. Lee didn't live that far off and she repeated the process of using her clans ability to help her see her way to his door. She knocked and waited. Upon recieving no answer she bent down and slipped the note under the door, figuring that he was out and would find it when he got home.

Lastly was Miz, and she continued moving down the street. She took a left at the end and counted three houses. Miz was on her porch, or so Hikari could sense. She walked up and paused at the steps. "Miz?"

"Yes, thats me child.", came an elderly voice. Hikari stepped up the steps and handed over the letter. "This is for you, the mailman is sick today."

"Thank you, child."

"You're welcome." With her job done Hikari hopped off of the porch and headed back the way she came, off to turn in on her mission well done.
